Show us how one could alter the transaction or steal the coins.
There are not enough details released to determine whether that can be done or not. So why bother about it? People will listen when you can PROVE sth was altered or stolen.... until then its yada yada i donīt have any facts but just bring sth up. |

Actually i did not see any bans the last days before todays FUDpack came online there, and there were alot of critical person in the IRC like ValentinJesse for example, he got his question answered and seems to be not critical about it anymore.
PLS show me a post from you where you were critical about Darklaunch and where you asked for a relaunch, if the technic is so superior and the community sooo good i think a FAIR relaunch would not have hurt it.

I'm not technical enough to know if Cloak is a scam or not but I do remember the fact the Boostcoin's donation address was left in the source code for v1 was never addressed. Thank you. What I assumed was the original Cloak might have been a sloppy copy but TheDagger hired a good team to work on the anonymous functions over the past weeks. It would be awesome if we could get someone like Dan Metcalfe to look over some of Cloak's code too. An anon tech in it's infancy, we're bullet proofing it before removing beta status << critics should note before (jumping to conclusions) PoSA is still work in progress and being improved day in day out.
Cloakcoin PoSA was designed so that nodes / multi nodes or bad actors cannot "game the system" for own gain or hindrance.
Such issues were covered in closed beta testing and other concerns of people setting up PoSA node farms on vms to capture all tx traffic were addressed.

Full disclosure: I do PR for XC and don't own Cloak.
However I'm not here to argue, or to tell you that XC is better than Cloak. We all know what an ill-advised idea that would be.
But I'm interested in PoSA. It's a new approach in crypto - which is rare and a signal that you're competent - and I'd like to understand it.
Is anyone online able to explain it to me (and not refer me to the white paper)? In particular, the part about mining an anonymising stake is confusing to me since normal mining faces the risk of orphaned blocks.
If an anonymising stake is mined and then orphaned, how do you prevent the transaction from getting lost?
Alternatively if you wait for the block to mature, how do you maintain fast transaction times?
Finally, if you have to send a whole lot of dust around, how do you avoid bloating the blockchain?
As you've probably guessed, this stuff is new to me. If PoSA works then no doubt you guys have done something very cool. I'd love to give you a chance to show me, and I have no intention of keeping a closed mind about it.
