702  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Can anyone suggest some altcoins to buy? on: April 13, 2018, 04:17:31 AM
There are lots of altcoins(well, ICOs) Can anyone suggest some altcoins to buy?
I searched some on ICO listing cites, but it seems a lot of them are paid to be rated high. Some coins have only 100+ members on Telegram... Undecided
I know that the price will go up and down but how to find some altcoins that is really doing something revolutionary and worth to invest?
You can buy the alternative coins which has large of capitalization marketcap you can check on here https://coinmarketcap.com/ you can choose ethereum, it can be used for payment on the ICO although some ICO accepts another cryptocurrencies, but the most common in ethereum, ethereum is good choice and don't forget about rumors of ethereum's killer you can buy EOS and ada coin/Cardano. EOS and Cardano can be called cheap.
703  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What would make you trust an ICO? on: April 13, 2018, 03:47:18 AM
Hi all,
I am part of the Maxdata.io team.
As part of an ICO marketing team - you always strive to show your ICO in the most transparent and candid way possible.
So I decided to ask you the community - What would make you trust an ICO?

All answers will be highly appreciated!

Thanks
GL:HF

Well... I would be the trust in the ICO based on my analysis fundamental of ICO them selves, i do research about the ICO project will they have good progress in the future or not and i have made research ( little research Cheesy ) about your project maxdata's project, i need more information about it, first step i did not found the community of maxdata on telegram ( just bounty only) should you have the official channel of maxdata be dedicated for the project, let the community makes direct questions on there of course you must gives fast respond, let me know what will be done. Thank you very much.
704  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to avoid ICO scam on: April 13, 2018, 02:20:58 AM
Its so hard to determine if an ICO is scam, sometimes you can only know it if the project is already done. even if the ICO is good and their platform is promising. so the only way to determine it is to check their background very well and do research a thousand times if needed.
Yes we must do research about the ICOs before we make investment in them, although it will takes large of time but there are no another choice to avoid ICO scam, the other way is must join on their official social media (Facebook, Twitter, telegram and other) then we can make questions anything about the projects to get more information.
705  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: EOS - Asynchronous Smart Contract Platform - (Dan Larimer of Bitshares/Steem) on: April 12, 2018, 02:19:37 PM
once the EOS Public Key is generated and linked to my MEW ethereum public key, do I need to go through the same process again if I transfer additional tokens
No you don't need it again due to basically the register the wallet is used for snapshot number of token EOS before june 1st while the EOS blockchain will be launched, so if you are interested to get EOS coin you just need put the token EOS on ethereum's wallet has been registered by you and don't forget to check all of the procedure has been done, can be checked on here https://eosauthority.com/ it is EOS balance and public key checking tool

Good references and good information, i am not a big investor of EOS only i like the concept and i like the ambitions of the project. Now with the information that EOS Blockchain will be released in June this is very interesting and can change the directions of the market, i will add EOS on a large scale to my investment strategy, without a doubt.
Well... Although the EOS blockchain is good project, the developer of team has large of experience in the projects and many people who interisting in this project, don't forget to calculate about the risk of losing money in it due to however there are no guarantee this project will be sucessfull in the future, so you must becarefull with it and follow the progress of EOS.

EOS is kind of a wildcare to me. I think it could be a very good project with an interesting future, but I have heard that the EOS token itself on paper, does nothing inherently. Although I do trust the team that they are not just selling blank tickets.

Of course yes, EOS token is useless due to EOS token is token ERC20 of ethereum, it is used for collecting the funds in EOS ICO, that's why we must register wallet of ethereum due to the real of EOS coin/blockchain will be launched at june 1st 2018 and many candidates be ready to be block producers of EOS right now, we just can make claim EOS if our wallet of ethereum has been registered before june 1st.

I mean the utility of the EOS coin natively on EOS. I understand that the erc-20 version is only for fund raising, and I think thats fine. Just the utility of the EOS coin, I thought it wasnt clearly defined. Perhaps Im wrong, I'd love to know more about this.
What's i know the utility of the EOS in couples months later, EOS can be used for something gas for making decentralize application dapps on EOS platform, the payment for participate in the ICOs on EOS platform, it can be used for block producer of EOS blockchain (mining EOS) and any other something is like ethereum with some bugs fix.
706  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: EOS - Asynchronous Smart Contract Platform - (Dan Larimer of Bitshares/Steem) on: April 12, 2018, 07:55:27 AM
What have the devs done with the money they have received so far, and who are the devs? There isn't really a team listed anywhere that I can see.
The money be used for decentralize application (dapps) and software development by block.one you can see the developer of team on http://block.one/ and https://eos.io/ i don't know what do mean with the developer isn't listed on anywhere but dan larimer has large of experience in cryptocurrencies space, he is one of founder bitshare and steemit.

My apologies, I didn't see block.one. What apps and software have they produced so far? Is there any record of how much EOS has spent on marketing?
Sorry for all the questions but it isn't exactly clear to find all this stuff.

Oke no problem, i don't know about how much the dapps have been produced by so far by block.one due to basically the EOS blockchain is not for block.one them selves, many developers of community can makes dapps on it one of source information about it can be seen on here https://eosindex.io/posts i think the block.one doesn't spend the EOS token to pays the projects but they have spent ETH for it. Check on here https://youtu.be/V9wuRx4XjSU

708  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Thoughts on Zcash? on: April 12, 2018, 04:49:42 AM
As for me, this coin deserves attention, because
First, the crypto currency largely copies the bitcoin model, using its strengths.
Secondly, the developers of Zcash have implemented an innovative solution for zk-SNARK privacy.
And thirdly, the property of "interchangeability" makes it impossible to track the history of using a specific token, providing a "liquid exchange environment."
In addition, the project team is strong and has growth prospects

Yes the developer of team is very solid, they always makes updating about the zcash to be more better for example. They just released updated UX guidelines for wallet developers. Use them to make the world a little bit better. https://z.cash/support/ux-checklist.html
I am sure in couples weeks, they will makes another updating, let's wait what happen on the next time.
709  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Advice on a fluctuating Ethereum market on: April 12, 2018, 04:43:39 AM
1. It’s normal for exchange rate to fluctuate
Almost every market is comprised of variations inside, especially the cryptocurrency one. This may be attributed to the fact that its transaction speed and extra fee are kept at the possible lowest level.

2. It’s nothing strange to collapse quickly
It may sound hash, but it’s true. So, besides working on your emotions, you should get yourself accustomed to it.

3. Investment in ETH should be a long-term one
A fall by 40% following the peak of $210 is commonplace. ETH investors should think about the great but unexplored potential of ETH and long-term goals rather than paying too much attention to a flash crash.

4. Buy when the price is low
A smart ETH investor would know a drop in the price represents a good purchase opportunity. After all, price fall is not necessarily a bad thing, it’s just like when you get a discount on your desired mobile phone or a bill at the restaurant.
The recovery and growth of ETH is just a matter of time.

5. Learn how to manage your investment portfolio
Last but not least, you definitely should know how to control your portfolio, which is considered a basic asset management principle in the field of traditional investment. A balanced portfolio can bring you unimaginable benefits after 7 years, on average, from this moment.

That's good method of investing in ethereum especially for long term investment, unfortunately you don't give more method of investing in ethereum for short term investment in ethereum ( trading altcoins in ethereum only) it will be more interesting to us due to not all of people makes investment in ethereum for long term and every one has different strategy in ethereum.

Hi guys can you please sort out my confusion about "proof-of-stake capabilities". What exactly meaning of this line. how is different from proof-of-work algorithm.
Proof of work has the nice property that you can use Bayes' Theorem and the laws of Thermodynamics to prove that a given block has indeed required a certain amount of work to be mined. That way, users can simply pick the longest valid chain with the highest amount of work as the correct chain.

But this implies that Proof of Work is extremely inefficient in term of energy, and therefore also very expensive; which incentivize miners to centralize the hashing power -- obviously not desirable for a network whose goal is to minimize the need to trust third parties.

Proof of Stake isn't about mining, it's about validating. In effect blocks still need to be created by someone, and who gets to create the next block depends on the specific Proof of Stake algorithm, but the selection process must have some kind of randomness, or at least distribute voting shares properly (otherwise we revert to a centralized system).

In PoS, each validator owns some stake in the network, CNX in the case of Cryptonex, that they bond. Bonding stake means you deposit some money into the network, and in some sense use it as a collateral to vouch for a block. In PoW you know a chain is valid because lots of work is behind it, while in PoS you trust the chain with the highest collateral.

You did a good job explaining, but I've heard that Cryptonex combines both POW script and POS mining and have no idea how that works together. Are you, by any chance, aware of how it operates?
Well i never heard about the cryptonex combines both PoS and PoW together and i don't know about consensus algoritm of cryptonex deeply, i just know that cryptonex applied proof of stake PoS, for more information about it will be better wait for the answer from the developer of cryptonex, i don't want make mistake about it.

715  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How much money have you invested in bitcoins and altcoins? on: April 08, 2018, 07:54:55 AM
How much money have you invested in bitcoins and altcoins? What's your purpose investing in cryptocurrency?  Are you investing only for earning money?
I have made investment in the alternative coins for long term investment around $2800 ( i put the money in bitcoin) $3000 in some ICOs projects and around $4000 to be invested in trading altcoins usually on binance and bittrex, my purpose investing in cryptocurrency based on the profit due to there are no local store which accept the cryptocurrencies as payment options for right now, but i hope in the future i can spend my cryptocurrencies for a cup of coffee and tea.

Hi guys, does ZCash any advantage over it's fork called ZenCash ? ZenCash looks very good to me, the only disadvantage could be a small adoption?

The ZCash has more development support, as they are paid 20% of all the block reward.
Yes and the developer of team are really worked here Weekly update - April 6: Overwinter is a *go*... 1.1.0 to be released next week that will include the main net activation block height (TBD); Sapling MPC transitioning to phase 2; Zcon0 and Consensus scholarship applications still open https://forum.z.cash/t/april-6-2018-weekly-update/28156

Great video. Thanks to the project we save a lot.

Take a look at the set of video showing the key points of work of the future BubbleTone app

It is new updating from the developer of team about the video related with bubbletone i think it is important video for you to know more about bubbletone's project.
Thank you for sharing. Indeed, everything is understood more quickly on video than when you read the text. It is very convenient to understand the functionality and essence of the platform.
You are welcome, yes you are right the video is more easy to be understood and it is not boring, i am always follow this project and any other projects of ICOs which are the best choice for investment in my personal opinions and analysis about the ICOs, i will make updating if there are something new information about this project.

With information from the VinChain database, detailed vehicle information will be recorded in detail and correct. Vehicle owners can connect to their vehicles with VIN applications because the hardware is connected to the car whose data is stored. They will know whether their vehicle is ready to drive or not. This will make their driving experience safer.
That is the edged of VinChain. They are several features which you will enjoy and guaranteed that you will be satisfied. I've heard another high level person partnered with VinChain, came from Volkswagen. Good Job!

Here is amazing news for you! 255 million vehicles added to the VINchain blockchain!
VINchain have made an agreement with one of their main partners, AutoInspect.us LLC, and they have agreed to contribute their massive database of 254 999 413 vehicles data to the VINchain blockchain.
