701  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Africa Cup of Nation Discussion Thread || Current discussion: Group Stage. on: January 05, 2022, 05:48:53 AM
This is a quote from Paul Ince "The best players in European football are currently Africans".
That's to say if you're not watching the African Cup of Nations in few days, you're doing your eyes bad
Africans jetting back to join their various countries already.
I have heard and seen similar quotes throughout the last years. Already in the 2010 South Africa World Cup everybody said that it's time for the great breakthrough for African teams, but here we are 12 years later still waiting. I guess one problem is, that while they might have the best individual players, their teams are less well organized and the quality is not consistent in the teams (in comparison with South American and European national teams).
702  Economy / Collectibles / Re: BitMex is sending a physical bitcoin to the moon in summer of 2022 on: January 04, 2022, 03:37:53 PM
This will probably end up being the most famous physical collectable.
it will definitely become one of the most collectible pieces, very similar to casascius
Interesting project! I hope sending the coin to the moon is not the only purpose of that mission though...
It might become a popular physical coin, but I don't think it will reach the status of Casascius collectibles. But let's wait first and see what they have planned to release first  Smiley
703  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: 2022 Shiba Inu (SHIB Token) reaches 0.1 DOGE? on: January 04, 2022, 03:33:48 PM
To reach a price of 0.1 or 10% of DOGE seems possible, last November Shiba was ranked 9th with a market cap of more than $45 billion, and the most important thing for us is to be able to get big profits from hold Shiba, the thing I'm waiting for is hopefully Shiba can bring staking and farming.
Am I missing sth here? Doge is at $0.17.
SHIB needs to rise x5000 to reach 0.1 Doge. Unless Doge will become practically worthless there is no way SHIB can rise that much
I think both wil coexist for a while, in the long run the more popular and useful coin will win
704  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Will cryptos go into Bull season? on: January 04, 2022, 12:20:51 PM
2021 there be an explosion of 2 levels the first is q2 and the last is q4 ,I can't conclude for sure but q2 in 2022 will not be the same as last year ,while waiting for other trends it would be better if you exchange your funds to usdt products like our friends said on above or better to just be fiat
We saw a crazy amount of growth to the whole crypto space in 2021, but even more extreme for some platforms such as SOL. I am still missing the large euphoria which comes before the collapse (and bear market) so I am counting on a continuation of the bull market
705  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: meta is the future ???? on: January 04, 2022, 12:18:49 PM
Well, changing the company name of a well known tech company I think is the actual thing and has to be attached with their corresponding niches. Just like Google, named its company Alphabet and so Facebook did, as Meta.

With such bold move, the market is going with the Metaverse so Facebook just did the right thing for the response to the market trend and I think there's connection to it.
I don't believe Facebook named it's head company Meta because of the current crypto hype. This decision had been made probably several years ago to react to the decreasing interest in the facebook platform and to disconnect the head company from the platform. Meta has many more profitable departments (WhatsApp, Instagram).
706  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Africa Cup of Nation Discussion Thread || Current discussion: Group Stage. on: January 04, 2022, 10:34:48 AM
This situation is not encouraging. Perhaps Salah is not very happy with the fact that because of these formal games he will miss several rounds in the EPL and perhaps Liverpool will lose all chances of fighting for the championship during the African Cup. Egypt is considered the favorite in the tournament, and Salah is the favorite in the scorers' race, but it seems to me that the prestige of this competition is not very great.
Yea, this is pretty unfortunate. Many African players play in top teams, but somehow their national teams are never really successful in World Cups. This fact is shadowing the whole Africa Cup of course.
Personally I am looking forward to an exciting and open-ended tournament
707  Local / Altcoins (Deutsch) / Re: [Diskussion] - [WAVES]. Ultimative Crypto-Token Blockchain Plattform. on: January 04, 2022, 05:52:21 AM
708  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Africa Cup of Nation Discussion Thread || Current discussion: Group Stage. on: January 03, 2022, 03:26:47 PM
Yes it is. The result of the group matches is clear even before the start of the championship. But this problem is common for most tournaments - even in the Champions League where it is very rare to get competitive groups and very rarely when the underdogs make it to the playoffs.
Yea this is true. Although most of the time there are a few surprise teams in tournaments kicking out the big players.
Often there is also at least 1 or 2 very strong group with 3 big teams where one has to be eliminated, but this doesn't seem to be the case for the Africa Cup this year. Let's see how it goes  Smiley
709  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: 🔷 Waves Tech - a powerful blockchain-agnostic ecosystem on: January 03, 2022, 02:16:28 PM
TurtleNetwork is waves clone valued at 1/1500th, so you are basically buying waves for less than a cent.

TurtleNetwork grew by 50% since july 2020 while waves increased by a factor of x10, so it is soon time to cover that gap and go above 30 cents.
And why whould TN "cover the gap"? TN had some increase but now is down to the price level where it came from. WX is the only place where it's traded, with a spread of >30%. This doesn't sound convincing for me. What are its unique features? In my opinion any clone needs to bring some innovation otherwise it's probably just created for a pump-and-dump scheme.
If you can provide some more information, that would be great (probably a dedicated thread for that would be appropriate)

Meanwhile WX droped to ~$1.6. I currently don't think it will drop below $1 (and for that matter probably not lower than $1.2-$1.3) until the summer. Many people complain about the development in Telegram (down from $20), however, I guess this was pretty much to be expected. I hope the full functionality of the token will be rolled out soon
710  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Uniswap Token to $50? on: January 03, 2022, 11:15:12 AM
Seeing the current market conditions, of course it still takes a long way to reach $50, more than a month the Uniswap price is stable and not too volatile, it's possible that the $50 price will be reached soon if the market skyrockets like in April 2021.
I also find it remarkable how (comparably) stable the UNI price is. $50 still seems a long way to go though. If Uniswap can continue to grow against its competitors and the market doesn't switch to bear mode soon then I think $50 are possible
711  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Africa Cup of Nation Discussion Thread || Current discussion: Group Stage. on: January 03, 2022, 11:10:11 AM
just checked the quotes and there is no clear favorite

Senegal 6.5
Algeria 7.0
Egypt 7.0
Ivory Coast 8.5
Kamerun 9.0
Nigeria 9.0
Morocco 10.0

It looks like it's gonna be an open tournament, at least from the final rounds on. It seems the groups are clearly divided into good and not-so-good teams...
712  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar - UEFA Qualifiers on: January 03, 2022, 11:01:39 AM
Friendly reminder that the world 🌍 Cup will be held this year, June202 at Qater.
Who's your favorite or pick to win ?
Mine is Portugal!
This is slightly off topic, but the World Cup will not be held in June this year, but in November/December instead.

Also, Portugal first will need to qualify (as discussed in this thread  Wink)

The play-offs will be held end of March, so we'll have to be a bit more patient in that regard. Meanwhile I read that Mancini (coach of Italy) is optimistic that Italy will not only qualify but even win the cup  Wink
713  Local / Altcoins (Deutsch) / Re: [Diskussion] - [WAVES]. Ultimative Crypto-Token Blockchain Plattform. on: January 02, 2022, 12:32:39 PM

714  Economy / Services / Re: [Close] BET SPIDER Signature Campaign | The Hot & 👩‍ Fun Place | Sr+ on: January 02, 2022, 10:47:45 AM
W4 ends today and with that we will end this campaign. If BET SPIDER wants to resume again then I will see you guys again.

It was nice being with you all and BET SPIDER. Feel free to visit their ANN and give them a thumbs up!

I have shortage of funds on the escrow address. Once BET SPIDER send the remaining then I will make the payment for w4 and officially will close this campaign.
Thanks for managing the campaign smoothly!  Smiley

Thanks for the info regarding the payment! Do you already have an update for the last week's payment? Hope this will be resolved quickly.

716  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Germany League - 2nd Bundesliga Prediction Thread on: January 02, 2022, 06:59:39 AM
Well, history doesn't count that much. I would rather say that a club with their potential should be way stronger than they are. They literally have everything that a club needs to be one of the leading powers in German football, and also in the Europa League. Wouldn't say Champions League, but even that could be possible with strong management. They are just doing too many things wrong. Very similar to Schalke.
I agree that during a game the club history doesn't count that much, however a (formerly) "big" team might have an advantage due to the larger infrastructure and people connections that probably is still around from the better years. Also they have a (potentially) larger fan base and media coverage. (It is never a truely fair fight  Wink)
717  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Top Cryptocurrencies for iGaming 2021 on: January 02, 2022, 06:55:06 AM
The casino usually choose the coin which have the demand and liquidity in the market and there were some coins like doge which was added to many casinos last year but ETH have gas issues due to which many players prefer ltc or say doge to withdraw the funds. There might be some other coins also which might be added to the casino list this year depending on the casino plans and market demands.
Of course it mostly depends on the casino or game provider, but there are certain traits to a coin token that make it more favorable. For instance cheap fees. Stablecoins are also attractive as they minimize the price movement  (although volatility might be a desired feature depending on the nature of the game)

719  Local / Altcoins (Deutsch) / Re: [Diskussion] - [WAVES]. Ultimative Crypto-Token Blockchain Plattform. on: December 30, 2021, 02:32:29 PM
2 grundlegende Themen:

Also nichts kaufen, nur verkaufen Wink

2) Waves.
