701  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Rise of Bitcoin, Fall of Dollar on: February 18, 2021, 11:31:05 PM
It is not just because the bitcoin is going higher doesn't means that the dollar especially the US dollar will fall, always remember that fiat currency especially dollars will not be able to fall and if it falls maybe all of the fiat currency may fall down and that is impossible to happens. Bitcoin value is equivalent to dollar then it means the dollar will never fall because if it do so then bitcoin will eventually fall also sooner or later if that's the scenario you are talking about.

Even though we seen that bitcoin rises extensively, dollar will always be a strong currency because that belongs to the economic state. For me it's a worldwide currency that's based on how economy run towards it's progress, and it's fluctuations is only minimal. Furthermore, it's a stable currency if we compared it with bitcoin. Though btc had been doing great, dollar will always be a neutral fiat which can be exchanged with btc in order to spend your digital currency physically.
702  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: how many bitcoin is left ordinary people's hand? on: February 18, 2021, 08:20:28 PM
Op, your guess is evidence-based, which is good, but as was already mentioned, it's not without its problems. The huge one is about the whales, of course. Some of these addresses don't have publicly known owners, but I remember when I looked into the biggest BTC hodlers, some of the biggest ones were very easy to google and see that it's a major exchange. BrewMaster already pointed it out, but perhaps you could try to go through the biggest addresses and exclude those bitcoins which turn out to be in exchange wallets. This can help to make your guess more accurate, I think.

Most the time whale created a pump and dump. Whales are nothing but the maximum share holders of bitcoin. Who can change the market price by increasing and decreasing the flow of bitcoin in the market. Tesla added to whale list by the huge investments.

This is going to most exciting in the next coming months, let's see what's going to exist until such time price correction takes place. Tesla is a huge company, so it's no wonder many investors also attracted with the good news. Take a deep breath and always expect good outcome after overall business would turn to be unstoppable.
703  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Which alerts are you using? on: February 18, 2021, 12:44:51 AM
Hi all,

I'm using a tool that can alert me for any sudden change in any coin.

Example: alert me when any coin grows 5% in 10 minutes.

I would like to find cases where there's higher uptrend probability.

Example: if a coin grows 5% in 10 minutes there's a very high probability that it will grow another 5% in the next 30 minutes. (just an example out of my head, nothing to do with reality)

Are you using any kind of logic like that for your trades?

I don't use any kind of logic, I only made the chart as my reference and also the updates coming from the community. You should also learn from different articles which can be a source of reliable information, because that could give you a definite signal when to sell or when to buy. Though the assurance is 60% but overall the possibility will always come to a precise outcomes.
704  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Three Indians arrested over illegal betting in ZACS on: February 17, 2021, 11:56:59 PM
The news is quite interesting to me because the gamblers are so much tricky that they use live match for batting in different countries by visiting the playground and used the time in betting. Because it becomes live after finishing the ball, so they used that time in betting at staying in the field.

In Bangladesh, all types of gambling is prohibited and considered as crime, cryptocurrency too. They will be charged due to violation of law. The news published by Dhakatribune. News link is here,
https://www.dhakatribune.com/sport/cricket/2021/02/07/three-indians-arrested-over-illegal-betting-in-zacs

This must not be continue to happen and authorities should impose a strict pursuit over these cheaters. If their country consider it as a crime, then these guys were liable for what they did. Their country already hated any gambling activities, so if so happened pleaded guilty then final judgement could br their verdict once the court decide what ample judgement for them.
705  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC HIT $50000🎯 on: February 17, 2021, 11:16:12 PM
Wow, another achievement unlocked which indicates that BTC hits another ATH today. $50000 is a huge now and it is already visible and breaks all the previous history. The great day is my cryptocurrency life which will be remembered and the thread will work as a reminder.

Are we going to see another ATH soon or the day will be remembered?

The expectations of another ATH would somehow be a tentative scenario, because everyone is now enjoying glorious days with bitcoin. Many people used the current situation as a good time to earn greater profit, instead of long term holdings. We may see $50k per btc to fluctuate and have stabilized value at this level, and some altcoins also starts to develop a good market. I think the achievements made by bitcoin today is already a big history of all time.
706  Economy / Speculation / Re: When BTC Bull run will end? on: February 17, 2021, 10:20:05 PM
Can anyone guess [educated guess please] when the current bitcoin bull run will end? The last bull run ended around 8th January 2018. It would be interesting to know when the bull run game will over.

There's no accurate date, when this bullrun could end and one thing I only knew is that projections of btc price this year is up to $100k so maybe it could take so long before we expect cheaper price. Guessing only isn't a good fortune right now, but what I recommend is to ride with the trend and do short trades in order to generate passive income. Using your money that not earning better would be the best alternative.
707  Economy / Speculation / Re: Apple is buying Bitcoin on: February 17, 2021, 09:59:23 AM
If it is true that Apple plans to buy Bitcoin this is a good thing, because with Tesla it has already bought Bitcoin. Apple should have followed
in the footsteps of Tesla, I'm sure seeing the extraordinary performance of Bitcoin, will make Apple interested in investing in Bitcoin.
Hopefully it will come true that Apple is buying Bitcoin, so it can make the Bitcoin price even higher.

It is not clear from the article that Apple will be investing in Bitcoin. The author simply comes up with a title that will attract the attention of readers.
Of course, this would be great news for the entire cryptocurrency market, and it is possible that it will happen someday. However, I think we have to wait some time for that.
True or not, the possibility of Apple to invest for bitcoin is high that's because of their capacity to deal with finances. The scenario they seen with bitcoin particular on its usability on different purpose is there, so nowadays people is more aware about cashless payment. Bitcoin can be their mode of payment in the future, and they'll able to generate more potential profit aside from using fiat currency.
708  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Does knowing your sport and teams really make you better at betting on them? on: February 16, 2021, 11:29:04 PM
It definitely will make you better, if you just bet on the team without the knowledge that their players are bad then it means you are going to lose a lot of money.
~snip~

If you bet without a knowledge on the sports, that's betting blindly, if you bet with knowledge on the sports and the teams, that's normal betting.
~snip~

In sports betting, we need to have a basic knowledge about the team and the sports, but that will not win the game because we can't get more chances to win if we don't get more info about the team. It will help us analyze each team, and we can know which team can win in that match. But besides having knowledge for the team and sports, we need to remember that the luck factor will also take part in sports betting. So if we can analyze the team that has a chance to win, but we don't have luck, we can get lost.
The most important factors to determine an odds for teams that you're betting with, is you really a fan of that kind of sport you wanted to bet. It won't be effective if you're just choosing depending on sport activity, as other think they'll able to take good chances to win. However, knowing the odds of the game you desired most like of basketball or any other sport, could be done simply if you're updated with their eliminated rounds until finals. Don't think about the luck but the probability is certain, once you exactly have the knowledge on the sports that you're going to bet.
709  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why don't American Companies make Bitcoin Miners? on: February 16, 2021, 10:00:52 PM
Or ANY miners for that matter?  Cheap labor?  Automation?  It seems to me that we have the tech.  It's not rocket science.

There's a lot of miners who prefer less energy consumption, and now in this modern times technology gets evolved so many ways to conserve it. Solar farms do provide cheaper source of power and yet it's available in the market. Miners who can afford to buy and invest for this kind of equipment would literally purchase then run a mining operation.
710  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can we get another golden oppurtunity to buy? on: February 15, 2021, 11:41:46 PM
Like many bitcoiners im one of the people who didnt bought bitcoin at 6000$ or even 15k or 20k$ and i wonder if its possible to see bitcoin in at least 20k again
If no should i buy now or wait more to get lower price ?

There's always an opportunity if you don't lose hope for the future of your finances. We can actually purchase bitcoin at that highest value if you really skillful in trading or investing with cryptocurrency. Though the risk is really big, you must be able to determine how the market behavior go along so you'll cut the loss and achieve 70% gain. Bitcoin will soar higher this year, and lets observe how to catch that opportunity when price starts going down.
711  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Should I sell my xrp or wait until $1? on: February 15, 2021, 12:33:41 PM
XRP price had been going up and down despite the existing issue about SEC. I guess they will have to clear this up, I am not following the news about XRP and I am not sure whether there is already a verdict or not. XRP is one of my best choices when transferring funds due to its low fees, however, I am not into investing in it for long-term purposes not unless I had an opportunity to buy it at at least .20$.

Buying back is my secondary plan after failing from the last spikes, it might sound frustrating but I'll have to do it for the sake of profit. Though some scenario became a loss of opportunity, but to have an assurance shen you got enough profit; dumping an asset is the last resort. Doing what is needed, will be the safest strategy to protect our investment.
712  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: UBER will start to transact with Bitcoin? on: February 14, 2021, 10:16:38 PM
Well, I am wondering if how this UBER works the very high fees on bitcoin and it will perhaps take time for the transaction to be confirmed, it will wait perhaps an hour for at least 3 confirmations in a transaction since considered as safe between the parties. Technically, this will become a headache to the users and I hope UBER has an alternative solution for this. Indeed, --this is good news to everyone, it is surely a pump price once there are too many of them who will start using bitcoin as payment and not only by that, it also brings awareness to those who did not know bitcoin.

The price nowadays is already pumping great, and it's really showing more progress as time ticks every second. Good news influenced many individuals, particular with how comfortable this payment method will be applied on our daily living. Profit also is the biggest reason why someone would love to choose bitcoin instead of other type of crypto.
713  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Should I sell my xrp or wait until $1? on: February 13, 2021, 01:47:44 PM
Want me to share my view?

XRP will not reach $1 until they resolved the issues they are facing. What you see is just someone attempts to make a bullrun but you and all others who are expecting because of emotions are all victim to see if they can create a panic. If you are in profit then you can sell it right away, as believe me, price will goes back again on the ceiling at $0.2. Not a financial advice but that's what I'm seeing. You won't able to sleep properly if you overthink that too much lol.

Perhaps, you're saying it correctly bro I think I'm just thinking out too big for now due to the upward trend of current chart. Certainly I've been selling what I got and take the profit I wanted, and most probably my contingency plans would be established once price will become bearish again until $15 or lesser. Thankfully, I would able to sleep well tonight unlike other nights which went so unwell due to stress.
714  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Should I sell my xrp or wait until $1? on: February 13, 2021, 12:18:15 AM
I just wondered how the xrp market is going to be in the next few hours, my feet is shaking right now because of the recent pumps. My perception was expecting a huge dump but it was really uncertain due to uptrend movement of xrp price.
As of now there's a possibility that it will hit $1, am afraid I would fail. Looking forward for some advises should I wait for $1 or sell now?

Please check here the live chart, https://www.dailyfx.com/ripple-xrp

Set your targets!

Sell now and buyback later on when the correction happens.Rinse and repear.. Sounds simple? No its not because this will really be involving emotion
on every position or trading decision you would make. This is the hardest part is on when you are really having doubts and feelings that it might
pump even more and would be afraid on missing out those profits but eventually you can really still able to earn
if you do just know to play the price.

That's what I am planning right now man, already made my decision recently I've sold my part and the target you suggested is great. Maybe I've find some additional resources next week as my savings will be used to buy back once price starts to go down.

@jackg thank for those response made here, I really appreciated it much and finally I been braver enough upon reading all those comments you've said man.

716  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Is Dying on: February 12, 2021, 10:12:43 PM
Bitcoin is on its peak, and followed is the ethereum. These are the days of bitcoin, because big people in terms of wealth keeps pouring funds into the cryptomarket. This keeps the Bitcoin highly active on the market.

With time someone who is popular making his investment on bitcoin. This is giving hope to common people who are able to invest very small. Some way it serves as the asset of the rich and all levels of people through its denomination. This makes it live forever without death as some has stated.
Yeah it keeps living, and it's totally in reversal to what op subject matter have been said that bitcoin is dying. With the underlying peak of its price these days, it became more valuable as many folks started to divert their asset from fiat to cryptocurrency. Demand rises, that's why price surges very high from time to time and after some minor corrections often pull down some percentage; recovery suddenly bounced back.
717  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: BTC price VS gambling on: February 12, 2021, 08:37:55 PM
Happy Friday, gamblers Smiley

Some time ago, last October, I asked you if BTC price increase has affected your gameplay somehow. Back then, it wasn't a problem for most of the users who replied.

Well, today the BTC price is almost $50K. I was just wondering, how are things now.
Are you still playing with Bitcoin, or have you switched to another coin due to a rise?

Thanks,
Karl from Bitcasino

Sometimes I do trading in the same manner, but I haven't played using other coins because it doesn't have sense due to profitability. Bitcoin still has worth even if it rises that huge value of almost $50k. Transaction fee still can be managed if compared with eth, so many gamblers like me prefers to choose bitcoin rather than eth or other cryptocurrencies.
718  Economy / Speculation / Re: Could this correction lead to a bear market for Bitcoin? on: February 11, 2021, 11:22:20 PM
I don't want to get overly dramatic about what's happened today, especially considering that the $32k level that we're at now was a new ATH just a week ago but when Bitcoin has dipped this much in previous years it has led to a prolonged bear market.

Do we think that this could happen now or should we just ride it out and expect a quick return to business as usual?

Most situations that I seen right now on bitcoin was slight fluctuations compared from those days of bearish market. ATH was still ranging from time to time, recovery is faster than declining behavior of bitcoin market. What we're seeing these days is the activities that the people has been showing to us, and as part of the community in which business was running successfully; preparation is needed before possible dips will happen.
719  Economy / Speculation / Re: Don't be surprise to see price of btc drop this week on: February 11, 2021, 09:44:51 PM
I'm seeing with the way the waves has gone and the closing of last week and month, the price is going to drop taking off close to $4,000 from the current price. This maybe a major correction.
~snip~

The correction will tend to initiate this month but with minimal progression. As you see on the chart, dominance is more high compared with resistance so lets expect more demand to come. Traders who do short and quick trades would always benefit a good profit one its done in a right way. Avoiding wrong moves is a good action, because we need to hit the right path before success comes.
