701  Bitcoin / Electrum / Re: address reuse within Electrum on: December 22, 2023, 03:18:16 AM
Not sure if I understand what you're asking here: but you can only send from the address that you received the coins to. It's technically not possible to receive funds from wallet1, and send the funds from wallet2.
702  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which currency do you prefer to use for BTC/LTC/ETH transactions? on: December 22, 2023, 03:07:38 AM
If you care about fee then you will be choose (LTC/ETH).

If you care about fees then you won't be using Ethereum lmao. We're not even in a truly full-fledged bull market yet and Ethereum fees are already in the $2 range; guaranteed to be far higher than that if the markets go bonkers.
703  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which currency do you prefer to use for BTC/LTC/ETH transactions? on: December 21, 2023, 04:07:57 PM
In 2023 you're far better off just using stablecoins(USDC/USDT) on Tron or Solana. Back in the day LTC and XRP is the way to go because it's cheaper and it's faster, but now that stablecoins exist there's no reason to not use them.

Also, Ethereum is pretty expensive.
704  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Arbitrage as Business on: December 21, 2023, 03:54:16 PM
Wouldn’t be the best of ideas not to share. Sharing ideas is what the forum is about isn’t it. Although, I get it that it’s up to you on what principles you keep and I understand the fact that, the less crowd as per people offering a service, the more profitable and availability of customers your going to get. Still, you could always share, I know you can.

If sharing something(in general) would dilute your potential profit then it's mostly dumb to share depending on the circumstances — this is one of them. Especially if you're trying to arb coins/tokens that aren't being arbed by the bigger players.
705  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Btt staking and buying stradegy on: December 21, 2023, 10:57:51 AM
Bruh what do you mean smallcap BTT's marketcap is $1 billion. How is that small cap? It's even in the #66 rank. Not because its unit price($0.00000114) is very low doesn't make it cheap. The price is just very low because the supply is very high.

Not saying that BTT won't go up, because in bull markets even the stupidest crap pumps, I really think you shouldn't be "investing" if you don't know those very basic stuff.
706  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Arbitrage as Business on: December 20, 2023, 06:29:20 PM
Arbitrage trading is discouraged by many community members, even by the many platforms.

Is it really? Platforms should actually thank arbitrageurs because arbitrageurs make asset prices across exchanges more aligned/accurate, so there wouldn't be huge price discrepancies over multiple exchanges; and simply due to the fact that arbitraging still gives trading volume(hence fees).
707  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Arbitrage as Business on: December 20, 2023, 11:00:16 AM
Did you know that you could make money in Crypto through arbitrage? I believe arbitrage is a Business!

There are lots of opportunities that could be explored during these moments and as we head to the bull run, let us explore them!

For example, one could buy coins cheaply in China or any other country and sell it at a higher rate to a country where there is high demand for the coin.
Arbitraging has existed since forever mate.

For us to enlighten one another, what could be some of these countries that are in high demand of Bitcoin or USDt & how can we leverage on arbitrage opportunities?
If I know of a good arbitrage opportunity, I'd do it myself, and not let everyone know about it.

Do you think this is an avenue that we can potentially use to earn a living and be financially free?
It's much of an avenue like getting a job and starting a business is — it will totally depend on how good you are at it.
708  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: CRO wallet address starting with ''cro'' on: December 20, 2023, 07:33:48 AM
Surprising how no one mentioned the actual native wallet for Cronos — it's Keplr. Cronis is in the Cosmos IBC ecosystem so it's going to be Keplr. MetaMask is only for Ethereum and EVM chains.

You can use your hardware wallet with it as well.

709  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How dangerous are email phishing links and youtube and twitter links? on: December 20, 2023, 06:31:32 AM
1. Just don't click on them, even if it's unlikely that you're going to get infected by clicking the link alone

2. If you're receiving a shit ton of spam emails, time to change your email address

3. 99% likely that these scammers/spammers got your email through leaked databases of crypto-related platforms

P.S. Having questions is great, but man calm down it's pretty difficult to answer like a thread of 20 questions.  Cheesy
710  Economy / Speculation / Re: What are we expecting between now and Bitcoin halving? on: December 20, 2023, 04:37:11 AM
A lot of volatility in coming months even some months after the halving, to shake all weak hands, all gamblers and speculators, who don't have enough experience in this market and who don't have good risk management for their capital, out of this market.

With those heavy elements, the market won't be able to take off around the halving and market makers will play their games to kill those investors, traders, speculators before their game actually kicks off.

Yes, but generally a lot of volatility the entire time(bull market, bear market, or crab market) until bitcoin grows big enough for it to have gold-levels of mild volatility.

tl;dr don't over leverage and manage your expectations.
711  Economy / Speculation / Re: What are we expecting between now and Bitcoin halving? on: December 20, 2023, 02:38:01 AM
Mate — if we know what's sure what will happen with extreme detail, we'd all be rich right now and chilling in some beach in the Bahamas. That's what makes investing easier and trading far harder — because while we can have an idea of the direction of an asset, that direction is mostly with lots of nooks and crannies.

So to answer your question: A LOT of volatility
712  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Tether Confirms Extensive Collaboration With DOJ, FBI and Secret Service on: December 19, 2023, 04:47:07 PM
Surprise, I guess? Tether is a centralized company — it's pretty much guaranteed for them to partner with 3-letter agencies. In fact, it's also guaranteed for these 3-letter agencies to be working with them even if they like it or not.
713  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Anything to worry about if you use mixers and not doing anything illegal? on: December 19, 2023, 09:01:34 AM
Centralized exchanges are far more likely to question you about your funds if your coins are mixed. So if you already mixed your coins, probably do a couple of hops from multiple wallet addresses to hopefully bypass their automated flagging software if it doesn't dig deep enough.
714  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Succeeded in introducing Bitcoin to a friend on: December 19, 2023, 07:02:21 AM
Think about it — what do you actually get for flaunting your bitcoin holdings or literally any wealth in general? You just get your ego stroked for a few minutes and then what? It's all downside from there — suddenly people will be asking you for loans, asking you to treat them out, or god forbid some malicious person would somehow learn about it and hit you with a $5 wrench.

715  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is bitcoin ok in Viet Nam? on: December 19, 2023, 03:56:41 AM
As per my quick Google-ing: "Cryptocurrencies are legal in Vietnam as an asset but are illegal as a medium of exchange"[1]. DYOR. If you're in Vietnam, you're in a far better situation in knowing Bitcoin's situation there than us in different countries.

1. Binance P2P, most of the time
2. Binance

716  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How to approach supporting a platform that now holds views contrary to your own on: December 18, 2023, 07:47:19 AM
It depends — while I don't really support false information, how valuable are the other non-Bitcoin articles for you? Are the articles valuable enough to justify paying for a platform that posts false information?
717  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Need Explanation on Defi on: December 16, 2023, 04:40:52 AM
Okay so  if I am correct  I think you're saying all or most of token should be linked in one way or the other to a Decentralized Finance (Defi)

I mean if a certain project/platform has their own token, then of course it will be somewhat liked to it.  DeFi is a category of tokens/projects, it's not a platform. It's like categorizing banking stocks, tech stocks, etc — in crypto DeFi is also a category.
718  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Let Bitcoin Help You Get a Girlfriend (Boyfriend) on: December 15, 2023, 03:58:04 PM
Lmao why are ya'll serious this is definitely made only as a meme. The "There is no second best" sound clip is from Michael Saylor's hilarious speech on YouTube that has been meme-d into oblivion: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MNf97XgBdTc
719  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Need Explanation on Defi on: December 15, 2023, 02:30:43 PM
Or rather, what part do you not understand? DeFi is just people interacting with code rather than people, and with their funds being not held in custody; you should be able to get your money any time you want(unless stated otherwise, like with locked tokens, vesting, etc).

Also , what does the token has to do with it or is it unrelated at all??
It totally depends. Most DeFi platforms differ from each other. Mostly the tokens are for governance, sometimes for staking(revenue) rewards, etc.
720  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Starting as a Bitcoin Blogger on: December 15, 2023, 07:37:19 AM
Why do you need other people to encourage you to do it? Just do it if you want to!

But anyway, your 'success' will totally depend on what you're going to write lol. You either write something that people will be looking for on Google, or something that people don't necessarily need, but something that would be a really interesting read anyway that people would end up sharing.
