7001  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Are we not abusing decentralization? on: March 23, 2019, 07:04:44 AM
Well it saddens my heart that the greed of men has led to the abusing of this freedom and liberty that Satoshi wanted us to have in the financial industry.
Some people taking advantage of being decentralization of Bitcoin, some are using bitcoin for their scam or fraud doings, some are also on their Ponzi Schemes. But, there's also huge abuse for decentralization now, that is the Exchange Traded Funds (ETF), but there's also a good side of ETF, it can help Bitcoin to be more famous, but it has also a bad effect on being decentralization of Bitcoin. Read more about ETF here: https://blockonomi.com/bitcoin-etf/
7002  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Price is not everything! on: March 23, 2019, 05:59:48 AM
The price of cheap coins can give us big profits. But we also have to be smart in choosing coins with low trading volume. Expensive coins don't always benefit you. Because if the price of expensive coins decreases in price, the loss you get is also large. It's better to buy cheap coins and invest long-term.
Cheap altcoins can give us also a huge loss, and if you are buying cheap altcoins, you need patience on that, because the price actions are really slow. Yes, you are correct for cheap coins can give us big profits, but you should also consider the other side. Not all cheap coins are good for long term, much better if you will base on the fundamental analysis and technical analysis tho.
7003  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Will the Bitcoin Cash rise quickly? on: March 23, 2019, 05:40:35 AM
I really don't like Bitcoin Cash for long term investment. Even if you will base on the Fundamental Analysis, I really don't want to hold it for the long term. Bitcoin Cash is just another Pump and Dump coin, but if you will base on Technical Analysis and will trade based on the chart, there will be no problem. I do believe that if you are asking if Bitcoin Cash will rise quickly, the main reason for that is manipulation.
7004  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: what guides do you use for trading signals on: March 22, 2019, 01:07:33 PM
Anyone recommend sites/blogs/forums etc for trading signals. Any good resources out there for predicting the market or sell/buy signals
I am using this simple Moving Average strategy with the use of Heikin Ashi candle in Daily chart. You can also use some momentum indicator, such as Relative Strength Index (RSI).
I have two Moving Average (MA),
10day MA and 20 day MA.
When the 10D MA crosses the 20D MA upside, it's a LONG.
When the 10D MA crosses the 20D MA downside, it's a SHORT.
( I am closing my trade for taking profit once I see a RED CANDLE below 10D MA & 20D MA in LONG, if in SHORT, closing it once I see green candle above crossed 10D MA on 20D MA.)
This kind of strategy, is you are likely entering into the trade if there is already confirmation whether it's an uptrend or downtrend.

Thanks to @TruCrypto28 for this kind of strategy. You can read more on his tweet: https://twitter.com/TrueCrypto28/status/1012082432407953414
P.S. This is not financial advice, just sharing my strategy found before.
7005  Local / Pamilihan / Re: Running a free competition in NBA playoffs - Need inputs on: March 22, 2019, 10:24:21 AM
Game Criteria - This is where I would like to ask for your inputs so we can make this an exciting game.
I would like to suggest more about prediction competition.

I. Which team will be on the Finals for:
  a. Western Conference
  b. Eastern Conference.
II. Which conference will be the 2019 Nba Champion? Eastern or Western.
III. Who will be the Most Valuable Player (MVP) for 2019 Regular Season?
IV. Who will be the Rookie Of The Year?
V. Which team will be the Champion for NBA 2019 Regular Season?

Or yung iba naman are about sa mga scores ng laban, if even ba or odd ang total scores nila.
Or kung sinong team during playoffs ang may pinakamadaming blocks, turnovers, free throws, steals etc.
7006  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: [GUIDE] Use this for identifying Scam/Phishing/ websites & exchanges in crypto on: March 22, 2019, 10:02:55 AM
If you're going to report any fake or phishing website, just report it to their registrar or hosting site to terminate the whole account.
Search their domain name in whois website and you can see their registrar records. Then report it as fake website, once proved, they will suspend that account, only if the registrar care.
Noted. There's a lot of fake websites nowadays, hoping that registrar will notice this kind of reports and they will take action if they are proven a fake or phishing website.
7007  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Why we shouldnt panic sell on: March 22, 2019, 09:42:11 AM
Thats why before you trade you should to have a good plan. trade with you can afford to lose. so the risks in trading won't make you
tremble, you're right people panic because they're not prepared to lose their money..
Yes. That's the most problem of traders now, especially those newbies. They don't even have a technical analysis or fundamental, they don't even try to chart, identify supports and resistance. Some of them are just trading by just hype, some of them hooked in social media, mostly on Twitter, telling this x trader to buy this y coin.
7008  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: March 22, 2019, 04:02:43 AM
I do believe that Bitcoin doesn't need ETF to grow like this. It is bad for Bitcoin, bad for being decentralization of Bitcoin.
Even Andreas M. Antonopoulos ( an author, speaker or blockchain expert ) is also against on ETF.
Watch his explanation about this: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KSv0J4bfBCc
7009  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Market prediction 2019 on: March 22, 2019, 03:55:43 AM
I do not believe that in 2019 the cryptocurrency market will start to rise again in price because it seems to me that it is still very early
Agree to this. As I can see on every chart out there, more sideways will come. Even I compare it to 2014-2016 bear market of Bitcoin, around this year and 2020 are more on sideways. But I do believe that 2019-2020 are the years for accumulation, all of these are just speculation. But I really believe that we need to see first adoption before we can see some movement upwards on the price of Bitcoin.

I have a news for you @GreatArkansas

⚠️ BITCOIN-TALK FORUM PHISHING WEBSITE! BE AWARE!! ⚠️
The well-known phising site has come back, and it should be added into your list.
The ".to" Bitcointalk site has been back online for over a month now, after a few months of being off-line. This is how it performed when I gave it a cautious deliberate try (with fake data) a month ago:

Beware!!!!

It seems that the .to phishing version of Bitcointalk is back online today, after being down for a few months. That is likely one of the main sources for hacked accounts around here.
The crazy thing is that it now displays a gambling site popup screen, which is obviously not forum policy. Data is nearly up-to-date with forum, and is barely a day off.

I never ventured to try to log onto the .to site before, but for the sake of it, I tried now with fake data. What it does is capture your login/password, and then immediately redirect you to the proper .org version of the forum, where you are back to the login screen. The impression you get is that you are on the correct site, but suffered a connection glitch that made the site ask you for your credentials twice. The fuckers …

Good news, I think this site will be taken down soon, and this can be considered not adding to the list. I already reported it to EtherscamDB and Report Phishing Page by Google, so they can mark this a phishing website.

Check niyo -> https://www.cryptodeals.ph/
7013  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Funny Them, Bitcoin is still King on: March 22, 2019, 01:53:55 AM
Also, add those fake ICOs, they are only CEO on fake projects, and their LinkedIn profile is also fake. There are also lot of scammers using other people identities, especially last 2017 bull run, the will run ICO with a fake whitepaper, fake ICO Advisor or developer team. I know these kind of issue become a lesson for every people in the crypto world.
7014  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Binance has no stop-market orders. How close to put your stop/limit? on: March 21, 2019, 08:35:48 AM
Hello.
So the only option to limit loss is, a stop-limit. However - seeing as Binance has the same maker and taker fees. I would like a stop-market!?
once my stop gets triggered I want the best price available.. I don't want to set a limit, potentially lower than it needs to be - Just.In.Case there is a seriously fast crash and my stops don't have time to fill.
stop price: If the last price drops to or below to it,
limit price: you can set this below in your stop price

Let's have an example on QKC/BTC:

If you will set your stop price at 870satoshis, then it will trigger if the price drops or below to 870satoshis.
You can set your limit price to 865satoshis so even if there are buy orders on 866satoshis-869satoshis, it will execute on the nearest price.
Meaning, if there are buy orders in 869satoshis, your stop loss will trigger and will sell it automatically to 869satoshis.

7020  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Price is not everything! on: March 21, 2019, 01:36:05 AM
Stop thinking about the price for a while and think about the technology and adoption what is happening just now!
Because most of the people now are eager to earn huge money in crypto. I know many people are just into crypto because of money, not on technology nor innovation. Adoption is good for crypto, adoption comes first, I know that we are the pioneers in crypto, so I don't mind the current price of each cryptocurrency now, I'm on learning stage and adoption stage because I know that thru knowledge, I can earn money.
