I saw there are lots of members in my crypto Facebook groups fell into the traps and complained about it. Of course, they lost their money, most of them lost, so it is a key lesson for someone who usually careless with their acts in the Internet space.
Facebook is full of trash spammer, especially last bull run 2017, lot of facebook groups that have spammers, not only on their referral links but also they are spreading some phishing links or malware such as bitcoin doubler software. I also remember before on our local facebook groups, that lot of people from our country victim of phishing site of our local exchange where you can convert your bitcoin to national currency directly.

I believe that experience also comes with age. The more you stay in the market and learn, the more you gain experience.
Trading is measured on how long you gonna stay. I know a lof of people who started to trade and left trading because of the market, like in the bear season, they don't feel to trade or they keep losing. I believe that experience is the best thing to learn, even how tough trading is, you can still gain knowledge on it.

I started up with babypips ( https://www.babypips.com/learn/forex) and finishing up the course. It do involves all trading lessons and mostly heavily focused on technical aspects but these subjects would really be sufficient to learn up trading. Babypips is very useful for every trader, even is more focus on forex but still, you can apply it in crypto. What I really admired on Babypips is their very detailed tutorial, easy to follow and it is really newbie friendly. Technical analysis is really important in trading, you really need to learn it. You can also learn how to trade on this forum, on this section Trading Discussion.

As of today, we are still above $5,000 level. Bulls need to hold this $5,000 level, based on the chart, there's always a bounce on $5,000. Bears tried to go destroy the $5,000 support last few weeks. If BTC price will go down $5,000 below, it could dump harder. Range around $4,800 - $5,200 is not my trading zone, really much sideways on this area.

Some exchanges also are playing safe, it's not so easy to delist some coins, especially a coin with huge volume but shitcoin. Exchange will lose something if they delist shitcoins, they will not earn money anymore, a lot of people are trading on their exchanges because of those coins. By those shitcoins, the exchange itself also earning money from traders.

I started trading around the year 2017 - 2018. My first experience in trading was really worst, I always lose. Most of my trades are FOMO, before entering my trades before I don't have a plan, like when to exit. After that, I learn first on the technical side, studying the chart, different tools for a chart, like some indicators or momentum indicators.

Put only the amount that not is too much for you or the amount you afford. Trading is very risky, there's no 100% guarantee that you can earn in trading, expect the loss or bankruptcy. First time I trade, I deposit around $50 only worth of BTC. $50 before is the amount I can afford.

It really depends on us if we do the KYC things. But you can still use cryptocurrencies without the KYC, that's the beauty of cryptocurrencies. There is some entity that uses KYC, such as the different country that has regulation on cryptocurrencies, but there are still many ways on how to do it, use cryptocurrencies without KYC. KYC is really different on purpose of crypto.

I just added on #6 the one of the dangerous move by the hackers by contacting you through email and using some look-a-like link, so that you can enter your information on such particular website. Please be aware, I already a victim of this with before, especially some cryptocurrencies exchange.

I invest in pre-sales. I research first their whitepaper, research their goal or roadmap. Do they use protocols that people or other services can benefits? There are a lot of new projects conducting their own ICO without goals or plans. Team or developer also important, like if their project is open-source and you can see how the project developed if it is updated and you can see how they are committed to the project by updating the community of what is going on the project.

Still much safer to use offline password generator, like KeePass. I never use any password generator, my brain is best generator and paper is for now keep all them safe.
There's still some pros and cons for storing our password online or offline. Yes, it's okay to use paper to keep them safe. Even in storing our private keys in different crypto-currencies wallets, they are suggesting it write in paper and never store it online. Alternatively, we could use a full bible verse ......
Yes, you can also use this. It could help you to easily memorize the password, as long as you know the bible verse.

But can we also send BTC and other cryptos to CoinsPro without any fees?
Yes. Ph (as of now), so walang FEE. Siguro ang ibig mong sabihin ay halimbawa galing sa ibang wallet or exchange ang crypto-currencies mo then i didiretso mo siya sa Coins Pro? Sa ngayon, di pa pwede yan (no idea if gagawin yan nila in the future). I'm assuming the conversion to and from PHP also have no fee or maybe lower than Coins.ph.
There will be a fee for converting your crypto-currencies to PHP or vice versa, since gagawa ka ng order dito sa side na ng Coins Pro.

How do you deal with this particular emotion in trading?
You need risk management, set a particular amount in your every trade. Get the total balance of your account, then you can set for every trades, 5% of your total balance is the minimum then 10% of your total balance is the maximum for every trades. With that kind of risk management, you can prevent a huge loss for every trade. Remember that trading is not about getting high profits in just a short period of time, it's about how you long will you stay in trading with profits. Yes, you can earn huge profits in just one trade, but if you lose or get liquidated it's a much higher loss.

i would not be surprise if coins will shut down this (not the exchange the convert way).
Just to be clear, there are no fees for sending money to and fro Coin.ph and CoinPro?
Yes! There are no fees sending PHP between Coins.ph and Coins Pro. There will be only fees on the side of Coins Pro when you are doing trades.
Much better if you will contact their customer support. Active naman din ang coins pag dating jan, just state your problem properly.

Do you think I can sue my promoter or get him charged? I live in Australia.
It's difficult to this, because what if your promoter will say he/she also have promoter? This can be a long process, because what if your promoter also a victim by another promoter? What I saw in Bitconnect is something like MLM, you have your network and their commission is quite huge, you make a lot of downlines, you can make a lot of money also. I remember when I was a newbie in crypto before when I started on something HYIP, since I am a newbie, I don't have money to invest in, what I do is I invite people, so my commission per invite will be used to invest on the platform.

For me, I'll go with Swing trading because I have a real life job which is time-consuming. On what I understand about scalp trading is you need to watch carefully the chart, most of the time frames you will use is the shorts time frames, like in minutes or hourly, why? So that you can easily find an entry and exit in a short period of time, that will not suit to me since I have my real full-time job. While scalp trading is don't need too much time, you are more watching on large time frames like daily or weekly. This is for me since I can't monitor the chart from time to time. I think Bitcoin's volatility is more suited for scalp traders to make timely quick bucks.
This is also one of my reason why I don't scalp trades, cryptocurrencies are very volatile. You can see sometimes a very long green/red wick on the chart which you can lose or earn profit sometimes, this is much worst for some traders that use a leveraged exchange, they can easily get liquidated by the volatility.

Also, wouldn't feel comfortable using an online tool like Avast to generate passwords. Much more comfortable using an offline tool to generate passwords like a password manager eg. https://keepass.info/ With KeyPass, you can generate strong passwords in 2 simple steps. Thanks for this, I added this on the OP, before the Avast random password generator since I found this KeePass is much safe since you can generate password offline and it is open-source. Good stuff. Personally feel that no password guide would be complete without a section on how to store and use them eg. with a password manager.
Done creating a simple guide on how to use a password manager, I used the KeePass since OmegaStarScream also found this much safer than Avast. It has been discussed here in the forum on how to create strong password so I'll just add the thread link in here and also you can read other people's tips on what to do if something happens or if there is a virus/malware in your computer. Here's the link of the thread: Creating strong password.. Oh, Thanks for noticing this thread, no worries, I will also add this on the OP. A general rule regarding password security is: Length beats complexity. Rather make your password a few characters longer, than using special characters which makes it hard to memorize.
Exactly. The more characters on your password will be more secure and make your password stronger. And dictionary attacks aren't effective against this either, even though this is against your rule B:
This rule B is risky if some hacker is the only target is you, they can use some of your personal info to bruteforce your passwords, and yes dictionary attacks for this is really aren't effective. You know, what would be an even stronger password ? If you'd take the whole sentence: I Was Born At 2:35pm In The Country Of Germany You have to memorize the same, but you increase strength by a lot.
But this still safety for some scenarios? Like for example, you are on the public and then you type this password and someone is watching you then they can read what you are typing in the keyboard as they can read on what you are typing in the keyboard.

For every website that we are using especially those required a password, mostly are our email, crypto exchanges, forum accounts, social media accounts, etc. are requiring to make our password strong and secure. Did you follow them? or did you create a password that is too short? Common passwords? Well, that is bad practice. By using a strong password, it will help our accounts more secure against hacker over the internet. We need to know first some example passwords that aren't advisable or very common one.A. All of these passwords are very common and you should not use it!B. Never use passwords that include your personal information such as: - Name
- Date of birth
- Place of birth
- Your address
Reason because why you should not ever include some of your personal information on your password because it will be an advantage on the hacker if he/she know some of your personal info, he/she can easily guess your password by using them. C. Never use common Substitutions: Examples: - D0gH0us3
- W33kdays
- IL0v3D0gs
Using of these kinds of password is really obvious, like D0gs , you just replaced the o with a 0. It can easy to brute force attack, just by replacing some common characters with some numbers or letters. Creating your strong passwordsSince we already know what kinds of password that shouldn't be used, we can now proceed now on creating a strong and secure password. - Make sure your password is long,
mix of capital/small A-Z alphabets, 0-9 numbers, special characters such as &^$# Like S5#A$B1dpqzM^UMk , but this is very hard to memorize. How to memorize these kinds of password? :
- The sentence method:
This idea of this method is you will create a password from a random sentence or any sentence created by you. Example: You will take every first 2 characters on each word from the sentence "I Was Born At 2:35pm In The Country Of Germany" Result: IWaBoAt2:InThCoOfGe
- Using Passphrase
Passphrase is consist of multiple words, the randomness of every word for creating a passphrase makes it strong. Example: "Dog in the dark" - Word make sense and it is grammatically ordered. "hulk touch adjourn omega" - Don't make sense phrase, not in grammatically order. You can use this password by capitalized every second character of every word, adding a special character between the words. Like hUlk&tOuch$aDjourn@oMega - You can use the Sentence Method here, for example, taking every first two characters of every word, capitalized every 2nd character of the word and adding random special characters. "hUlk tOuch aDjourn oMega". Result : hU#tO!aD*oM$
- Using random password generator,
Also, wouldn't feel comfortable using an online tool like Avast to generate passwords. Much more comfortable using an offline tool to generate passwords like a password manager eg. https://keepass.info/ With KeyPass, you can generate strong passwords in 2 simple steps. Step 1: Select dropdown box Step 2: Select the strength required of your password Note: You can also customize what characters are allowed / disallowed in your passwords when they are generated which is handy. Lastly, using password managers also solves the problem you mentioned of passwords being "hard to memorize". REMOVED the Avast Random Password Generator, since I found that the offline and open-sourced one is much safer.
- Password Manager
Using a password manager will help us to ogranize our different password on different website. I will suggest to use https://keepass.info/, this is open-source project and free.
Steps on how to use KeePass password manager: 1st, Download and install the KeePass, you can use the portable version or the installer. 2nd, Once the installation is done, you will be asked for the master password and the location path for the KeePass KDBX File (.kdbx) where you can use that as your backup. 3rd, Fill up the fields.
You can just easily copy/paste your password in different entry you made, by just double-clicking it on password field. Password will paste on your clipboard and will automatically delete after 12 seconds. *Make sure you save your database of KeePass safe and remember your master password on the database* Thanks whotookmycrypto and OmegaStarScream for this.
Android Version: KeePassDroid I just found an android version for password manager/password generator which is also open-source and you can use it offline. The good thing here you can import your database file from your KeePass in windows. They are almost the same.
Read/write support for .kdb and KeePass 1.x. Read/write support for .kdbx and KeePass 2.x.
TIPS- Do not share your passwords to anyone.
Be careful who you trust, never share your password.
- Use a different password for every account you have.
Just like on different crypto exchanges, don't use only one password for every exchange you have.
- Always create long passwords.
The most recommends password contains a minimum of 8 characters or 12 characters
- Never upload your passwords to the cloud.
Avoid storing your passwords online, like storing it on some file hosting services.
- Always use two-factor authentication(2FA) or multi-factor authentication (MFA).
This will help your account more secure, since before you can log-in on a particular website.
- Be careful on Phishing websites.
Even how strong your password is, once you fall in phishing website, it's useless.
