How great is that, bitcoin nowadays is really volatile, small news, it is dumping and pumping anytime. It is really hard to predict the market nowadays, specially when bear market. But for me, trading is not easy, it is really risky.

You can start to trade with small amount first, you should first to learn basics of trading, like how to use different exchange, how to set sell order or buy order and learn also how to read charts and different pattern.

For now, I think there are some people behind pump and dumps of Bitcoin, like there are some manipulation happening now. You can also consider fake news or people spreading FUD to to other people to make the price of Bitcoin dump.

Mining is really the best source of income in crypto, because it is totally passive, the only problem on that is you need a huge starting capital to start mining, you need huge money for buying materials for mining. But in mining, if you totally believe on crypto you are mining, you will mine all the way, but if that crypto will dump, then you are at loss.
