7001  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Looked back - lost! on: March 13, 2019, 09:39:47 AM
This is still a very young market. It is necessary to believe only in good, but not to lose vigilance. Still ahead, the cryptocurrency will still show itself to everyone.
Certainly, the crypto market is currently very new and will have brighter days ahead. When we look back, you may have lost some money, but this is just the value coin have with the USD. But, those coins are still in wallet as they are, and will bring a lot money when the time comes.

Right we just crossed bitcoins 10 years so indeed the market is fairly young. I'm sure that majority of us here have lost money one time or another specially in the beginning of their career, but you will notice that more and more people are still joining.

We can still recover what we have lost, crypto trading is not gambling. Here we can mitigate our risk and as we mature we can make the right decisions that will make us to book more profits so don't be dishearten by our lost.
7002  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: 2018 In Bitcoin [ The Year Is Over ] on: March 13, 2019, 09:34:07 AM
now we have entered years 2019 and it seems that on this year it can be said that the crypto market is still in a stable state because it has not experienced a sharp decline again. in 2018 the price Bitcoin continues to decline and hopefully in 2019 it will be a good year for the crypto market, the price of Bitcoin or Altcoin can recover and rise high again.
Bitcoin usually up when no one remember about it. When we still talk about bitcoin, it will continue down and down Sad(((

I do hope that you know that the market works in cycle, bulls/bears, up/down.

Ok so we're past the 3 months already and it seems that the price is not going down and we've peaked around $4200 last month (although short lived).

There could be lots of things to happen in the next 9 months and let's just be optimistic that at least at stable $5k could be attain in the next 4 months and last quarter maybe it's possible to reach 5 digits again so let's see how this 2019 will be.
7003  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Hodler, you motherfucker. on: March 13, 2019, 09:27:30 AM
Yes holding is waste so long times even a few years, alot of newbies investor was decide to hold crypto in the beginning of 2018 without any risk management, so they getting loss much money. So trading or holding should be with risk management.

Holding isnt a waste of time because when you hold , you didnt do anything . you can just leave your coins inside your wallet and continue your life outside the crypto scene . trading should be consider a waste of time because trading is an active  activity . you dont need any risk management when you hold because hodling is not risky as trading   and  as long as you chose the best coins  .

I see HODLing as one of the easiest way to make money in the market. Just imagine you're not doing anything and just continue to buy in dips and wait for the price to go to another bullrun. The only downside, you need to be mentally resilient and tough not to sell. And even if you wanted to sell, you need to have a good timing to dump them when it's at the highest price.
7004  Other / Off-topic / Re: Why some replies get removed? on: March 13, 2019, 09:18:30 AM
Posts usually get deleted if they don’t add value to the conversation.  Moderators do this to cut down on the amount useless noise on the forum.

It would not be deleted outright is someone doesn't report the post to be spammy and adds nothing to the conversation. That's why I urge everyone to post something relevant to the discussions otherwise if will just be reported and will be deleted by the mods.
7005  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: BNB and BTC to be accepted in an auction of luxury property in Australia on: March 13, 2019, 08:48:11 AM
I'm not surprised by the news since Australia is the second country behind Japan to adopt bitcoin. What really surprises me though is the inclusion of BNB, although this is token is back by the largest exchange right now, but still it is prone to market manipulation (pump-and-dump).

Anyways, we should take any positive news that comes along, and we do hope some someone will take advantage of this property to be paid in BTC or BNB as the price is still cheap at the moment. This could be a marketing gimmick, but at least we are heading to the right direction.
7006  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Interesting ETH on: March 11, 2019, 06:21:29 PM
I find it interesting that ETH price started going up weeks prior to hard fork after the hard fork it looks to be consolidating and now moving back up again. what could be the factors to this price movement? I like it though, very good for quick trades.

At least you got some analysis and it seems accurate. Usually if there is a fork, prior to the schedule date investors are putting up money because of the free coins they are going to get (at least in the case of bitcoin). If it's moving back again then, it would either be the two, (a), those manipulators are setting up a bull trap (b), it is indeed a start of a rally that could end up in a bull run in the next couple of months.

Anybody notice a change in performance or speed of ETH? I have not move any of my ETH so far, I really can't tell yet.

Haven't seen it because I haven't done any transactions so far. But ETH is really very quick even before the fork so I will assume that it can improved better.
7007  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Predicting Cryptocurrency Price Change - 30 days trial on: March 11, 2019, 06:17:06 PM
Any chance you can share some info about your success rate?

I have seen a lot of services you offered before but unfortunately, I haven't heard from them again. Maybe they become successful or not. The reason why I asked about the success rate is obviously if people wanted to avail of your services, we wanted to make sure that you are doing good in your analysis and not just claiming otherwise. It also better if you allow some trusted forum members to try your service and in return give a honest review about your product.
7008  Economy / Economics / Re: Can bitcoin be worthless? on: March 11, 2019, 06:06:10 PM
Currency failure generally occurs due to the type of hyperinflation, and there is always the potential for technical failure, currency competition, political issues and so on. As the main basic rule, there is no currency that can be considered very safe from failure and difficult times. so is it possible that bitcoin can become worthless?

Very weird question. Bitcoin has succeeded its first 10 years, with bugs found in its early years and even some recent here: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5034070.0, but we did succeed till now. We even have a lot of forks, if you can call that competition and then there are countries who is fully against it, but then again the ecosystem was not deterred.

Now, how can you call bitcoin worthless in the next 10 years or so when it is very resilience and can adopt to the competitions or what's not in the crypto sphere?
7009  Other / Off-topic / Re: Science fiction on: March 11, 2019, 08:04:43 AM
Nah, I think humans will just rely too much on the internet then. So I don't support this kind of innovation, it's can bring more harm to us as humans, why not scientist discovered how to tap those untapped brain cells in our mind so that we can used more of our brain in a very positive way?
It will have its pros and cons certainly.
Your idea is that the entire brain cells are being exploited.
Because we work only through a small part of our brain.

Definitely a lot of pros and cons and we could hear a lot of arguments about it.

For me we should left our brain as how it was design. Although its better if they can kind ways to exploit the entire brain but putting a chip in my brain? Thanks but no thanks.  Grin

I would rather keep it intact and I love how it functions normally.
7010  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: The best 4 months profit scenario? on: March 11, 2019, 07:58:44 AM
What are the best coins to invest and trade in at the moment?
and do you have any potentials on cheap coins?

4 months is like a mid term holding strategy so I don't know how effective this kind of strategy is specially that we're in the bear market. So it's going to be very difficult to see which coins as most of them altcoins are pumped 1-2 weeks only and then the sudden drop.

So I can't say at this moment, I guess it's better to look for coins that is going to be release in the next 4 months or so and try to get in early before the pumpers so that you can ride the waves with them.

Just look at Enjin, it's been pumping in the last couple of days because of the news about Samsung S10 going to support them, but look at the price right now, it falls 5% already, so the pump is all gone and they're selling it right now.
7011  Economy / Marketplace / Re: Bad "good" news. on: March 11, 2019, 07:46:48 AM
In reality, numerous crypto enthusiast make news as a benchmark for moving and purchasing bitcoin or altcoin. They have the thought that news is one of the greatest variables that change value developments. Concerning perceiving and recognizing the correct news and false news that relies upon every individual, there is somebody who gets a message each time they will find out reality of the news and there are the individuals who get a message so they will choose to move or purchase without persuading reality the news.

Exactly, it's because this market is based on speculation.

So any news that will move the price will be the bench mark of speculators. Just like what we have witnessed in the last 2 weeks or so.

There's is a positive news about a possible Bitcoin ETF approval, many FOMO and thinking that this is a positive news and we see the price moves to $4k. However, when the news died down, so is the enthusiasm of the investors. That's why the price goes down again, unfortunately.

And then after that, the price seems to be recovering and going on $4k again. Several attempts have been made in the last 2-3 days but so far we are not successful.

So what we need right now is a positive news, are there any news in the market right now? I don't think so, we might need to wait again before the price crosses the $4k-$4200k barrier.

Media play a big part but as we grow and mature, we should be careful what we read and try to filter every news, specially negative one as most of the time, media will just published unverified news.
7012  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UFC FN 146: Lewis vs Dos Santos Prediction and Info Thread on: March 11, 2019, 07:40:07 AM
I wonder who JDS gonna face next? This is not gonna be Cormier definitely.
Maybe Ngannou?
Maybe its time for a rematch between Stipe Miocic and Junior Dos Santos. In terms of wins, its 1:1 for both Stipe Miocic and Junior Dos Santos. The first encounter between the two was on Dec 13, 2014 at UFC on Fox 13 and Junior Dos Santos scored a victory via Unanimous Decision. 2nd encounter happened May 13, 2017 at UFC 211 and Stipe Miocic scored a win as the referee stopped the fight in Round 1 at 2:13 as Stipe Miocic earned a knock out victory. A 3rd encounter would be good to complete the trilogy of this 2 fighters.

Cormier is still injured isn't it? So I don't see a likelihood of DC vs JDS for now.

Brock Lesnar? No, I don't think so.

I think @nydiacaskey01 has put a good argument as who is JDS needs to first before he can face DC for the Heavyweight. Stipe is the current #1 contender, so a win against him will definitely put JDS in collision course to regain his belt.
7013  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Psychological Technique - Play without Pressure on: March 11, 2019, 07:14:15 AM
It's still gambling and everything is still based on luck.

Anyways, based on my experience, if you could add that if you have a lot of capital to begin with, at least in my case, I don't give a damn about how much I'm going to bet and most of the time I go max bet and the moment I hit a good win I stop and if I'm happy with the amount I already won then I quit already and not force my self to target more. Grin
7014  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Facebook Gambling??? on: March 11, 2019, 07:09:30 AM
As we have heard, Facebook is planning to launch its own coin. And we know that this site has so many people that use this to communicate, the fact that it has many users, the possibility of getting their coin famous is just an easy picky.

Could we also expect that facebook may have a feature where gambling (that uses crypto/ facebook coin) is allowed? What do you think?

No, I don't think that Facebook will join the gambling industry just because they have their own coin the future. It's not their forte, they're a social media sites, it might backfire on them if they entertain this idea.

And as far as it own future coins though, I read that it will be going like to be used in remittances. So that alone has lots of competitions already so I guess they need to focus on that one before venturing their coins to other industries like gambling.
7015  Economy / Economics / Re: UnionBank Crypto ATM To Launch On March 08 on: March 11, 2019, 07:04:13 AM
They say it is also one of the best when converting Paypal money back into cash. The transaction fees are way lower than other banks.

Hmmm. This could be a big step for Philippines. Electronic withdrawal and also they have been really lively with online currencies.
Just one thing though since I cannot open the link yet.
Are they not being questioned by the Philippine government since the money laundering act is being strengthen by them?
I mean it could be a possible way for an escape route of government officials.

I'm sure that they have work it out somewhat with the BSP - Central Bank of the Philippines that's why they have been into this crypto sphere since last year. Philippine government is very lenient as far as crypto and that's the main reason why there's a lot of blockchain/crypto related going on in the country.

I agree with @Indamuck, that's the only drawback I can see as far as crypto ATM is, the exorbitant fees. There's a lot of alternatives like localbitcoins.
Banks are businesses so imposing higher fees isnt really surprising specially it is residing in philippines. There are lots of alternatives actually and even just buying directly with coins.ph merchant will be more
worthy than with these ATM's. Not sure on how much they do add up.

Right, but we can still consider this a good and welcoming news for bitcoin enthusiast in the Philippines. It could be a marketing strategy for UnionBank as well because we all know that banking sector in the Philippines has a very stiff competition and maybe they want to get ahead by being the first banking institutions to fully offered a bitcoin ATM.

Maybe a long the way we can see growth of bitcoin ATM's in the country so it means that profits for them as well. So it's a win-win situation and it's nice to hear that at least Philippines is pushing ahead of their goals to be sort of a crypto hub in the South East Asia.
7016  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: This IS The End Of The Bear Market [Inside] on: March 11, 2019, 06:59:00 AM
I hope that you're right. Last couple of months we have seen at least bitcoin and ethereum making a good run on the price and moving further away from it's last all-time-low. Although the price is still below like 80% for bitcoin and 90% for ethereum, it had make some gains already.

And the good thing is that there are positive news coming our way like bitcoin future offering and maybe ETF than can push the price again. So let's see, the bears are exhausted at this point and it's just a matter of time before we can see a reversal.
7017  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Looked back - lost! on: March 11, 2019, 06:53:56 AM
You are already in cryptocurrency and you should not regret it.
YES, the course is unstable. Sometimes there are mistakes, but do not look back. You will not change anything. It is better to assume that you made the right decision, even if you got a loss.
We need to move only forward, what do you think?

I'm pretty sure we have past the hype because it's already 2019. 2017 was the very best year for most of us, but if you're still living on that euphoria then something is wrong with you.

We need to move forward and with positivism that one day we can see a bull run again. So I will suggest that we should be smarter and evolved as well so that the next time we go on a dramatic rise, we better know how to react. Two had past already so I think everyone should have move forward by now.
7018  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Possible crucial event? on: March 10, 2019, 04:43:20 PM
Lol... Grin The line is just like any other line drawn , such as trend line which can be redrawn anytime price breaks it, to look for another point.

Just like support and resistance too which can change with price.

Maybe the OP is finding some correlation, but as we say here, we can't really rely on TA alone because this market is based on pure speculations and sentiments change in matter of minutes.

Just like we have seen in the last couple of days, we are about to break the $4k barrier with no news at all. We might see green candles forming, but it doesn't mean that we're about to break and goes for a bull run.
7019  Other / Off-topic / Re: ❤️ Tell your story ❤️ Crypto and you ❤️ on: March 10, 2019, 04:34:27 PM
Here are just some question which you can use if you want...

🔥 When did you join Crypto?

Like 3-4 years ago. I was introduced by a friend of mine.

🔥 What have you achieved so far?

The usual stuff I guess. It also makes me to live as normal as I can be. Put my kids on a good school because of my crypto earnings.

🔥 What did you lose or win with Crypto?

I'm a crypto gambler so I say that I lose sum and win some. But I have my priorities so I still in control of my earnings here in crypto.
7020  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: will Bitcoin clock 4k today. on: March 10, 2019, 04:29:17 PM
We are not there yet, but getting closer and the good thing is that the price is still above $3900, meaning that in the last 24 hours, there are no selling pressure. Which is a good indication that we can still see the price goes above $4k again or even more.

So let's see how it goes entering this week. I'm positive that we can breach in again so we should remain positive and just hope that we can get away from this longest bearish trend. I'm sure that majority of us are tired and wanted to see a change this 2019, hopefully this should be the start.
