8001  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: FIFA WORLD CUP 2018? on: May 21, 2018, 07:51:42 PM
@yoseph, @tomahawk9, I heard that the only reason Martinez doesn't like Nainggollan is that Radja smokes. If it's truth, I think the decision to not select him is twice stupider as it could be in compare with the cases like Deschamps vs Benzema or Sampaoli vs Icardi.

Jep, Martinez is not really found of Radja, which is why he didn't select them. Stupid choice as Naingolan can really make the difference.
What I also don't understand why they prolonged the contract of Martinez, he is not really the best coach for Belgium.

Been asked many times as well since 2016. Lol. And that one of the weirdest decisions that I ever seen in recent memories.

However, that stage is step and let's see if he is really going to help the Belgian team. I just hope though that Belgian Federation has made the right choice though, because for me extending him for another 2 year coaching stint is a mistake.
8002  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: My country banned bitcoin. What I can do ? on: May 21, 2018, 12:21:03 AM
I love bitcoin and cryptocurrencies. I feel more comfortable doing so and will do whatever that I can to support it. Now tell me how can I work with Bitcoin and cryptocurrencies? Although it is illegal in my country.

Apologies if this is not the right place to discuss.
Thanks in advance.

If its a total hammer ban then it will be very tough for you to continue because I'm sure that they are putting a tougher fines or even jail time if they found you guilty of bitcoin and cryptocurrency trading. Someone suggested that you move to a crypto friendly nation, but I will assume that is out of the question.

My country still supports crypto so I don't really have the answer except offer some suggestions. To circumvent the ban, maybe you can used Tor or VPN to continue to do trading. But you know that the risk is there so just be careful. Or just continue to accumulate as much bitcoin as you can and maybe one day your government will make a sudden U-turn and accepts it.
8003  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Buy Token When Bounty Hunters Sell They Coins on: May 20, 2018, 11:59:19 PM
Hello guys, I hope you all have a nice day. Wink
in this year a lot of ICO projects that make Bounty Campaign, When ICO successful and has been listed in the market, Most bounty hunter immediately sell all coins they have.

Yes, this is usually practice by most bounty hunters because its pretty obvious that they are just in for the money. Plus they have worked hard for months just to get their rewards, so they immediately sell their tokens without looking at long term.

This causes the price of a token to fall even away from the ICO price.
Have you taken advantage of this moment, guys? I think its moment is a good time to buy a token with a cheap price. how about you?
very happy to hear your experience about that. Wink

No I haven't taken advantage of the situation. Maybe it really depends on what ICO ended and bounty hunters dumping it. But its going to hard to pick a Gem here, usually after a dump, the coin will suddenly be forgotten, but least assume that the devs are very active, it will took months before something comes up, so if you are willing to hold and have patience then you can do it, however, the questions remains what coins it will be?
8004  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Benefits of gambling? Yes - it exists! on: May 20, 2018, 11:32:30 PM
To be honest, our society is still divided regarding gambling but we have like 3 big casino's and some minor one and even lotteries which "gives" a lot of money to our government to help them build projects like infrastructures (highways, roads etc).

In a sense, it has benefits, but my only problem is that I can't feel any significant changes as reports keeps coming in that the money just goes to the pocket of corrupt government officials. So as far as I'm concern, yes there could be benefits, but I do hope that our governments really used the funds from gambling to help alleviate peoples lives in our country.
8005  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2018-05-20] Cryptocurrency is Property in Russia, Justice Minister Confirms on: May 20, 2018, 11:07:30 PM
We will have to be a little careful here - it is the justice minister who has given this confirmation. In many countries, for taxation purposes, classification of assets could differ. The positive aspect is that there is no doubt about the status of cryptocurrencies (legal / illegal) given this statement by the Justice Minister.

And maybe the next day we will see other government officials claiming the contrary. That's how Russia is as far as crypto currency is concern and thus we really don't know if they are crypto friendly as they are trying to portray at or just riding the popularity and at the end will put tighter regulations or even the ban hammer.

That's why I don't trust them, well in terms of their release statement. Because in the past it seems that someone will be friendly at crypto and then the next day other big shot Russia government officials claim otherwise.
8006  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2018 NBA Season on: May 20, 2018, 10:46:15 PM

Remember what I said here. Celtics in 4.

Ok, I have to comeback to this post for celebrating too early and understimating the Cavs that the Celts could potentialy sweep them.
Well, game 3 was a blow out. I can see why Kevin and Lebron still managed to joke and laugh around the press after the game 2 loss.
I hope Cavs will win again in game 4 , to take back what I lost in game 1 and 2 lol.

Looks like Lebron got mad to his team for leaning on him too much and look what happened. They all created their shots and got a good defense now.
That is how Cavs play and not thay Game 1 and 2. They have been ridicously calm that 2 games after a sweep in Toronto.

This will be a good game for game 4. Let us see how Celtics will answer that rampage that was done by the Cavs.

I'm sure that Game 4 will be different though. This time it will be physical as both them wanted to get the win and it will be closer and probably go into overtime if needed.

Well, Lebron got mad at this team mates and its good that they responded and put a good offense and defense to slow the Celtics.  For sure its time for Celtics to make the adjustments, but there are going to play in Lebron's back yard so it will be very hard to get a win. I see Cavs tying the series in Game 4 and will be the most exciting game so far.
8007  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2018 NBA Season on: May 19, 2018, 11:55:09 PM
Just another conspiracy theory mate. Phil Donahue no longer officiates so there's no one who can influence the outcome and say that Game 7 will always be pushed. Its a must win situation for the Lebron and his team. I'm sure that they will do everything at their disposal to take Game 3 so its a good bet if the Cavs is the underdog here. But if they lose, damn a lot of Cavs fans will bitch around. hahahaha. Goodluck to your bet.
Yea mate that's just a conspiracy theory as I've said it's another theory.

They have to win tomorrow or else fans will come up with another idea and will post different memes, I'm also a fan of them and I want to see them on the finals soon but it's not bad to see if Boston will make it to the top against Houston or GSW.
I have a feeling that the cavaliers will win the next four games.
2 wins for the Boston Celtics is already good enough because they are undermanned this season and the story would be another repeat
in the NBA finals which is the Cavaliers vs the GSW.
It means that they are just giving the headstarter to the Boston? There's history for Cavaliers for having this type of play so that's possible.

I do believe that the next games will be for the Cavs until they reach back to the finals. Well, few more hours the game is about to start so we better watch out on how Lebron's effort will be worth it.

Let's see. Against Detroit in 2017, James lead the Cavs after falling 0-2 (please correct me If I'm wrong), And then the famous 1-3 comeback against GSW in 2016.  So this is really a must win situation for them. He is also chasing a NBA finals appearance for 8 straight year, in which a few players have done, the Legendary Boston Celtics including Bill Russell.

Boston will be going to the enemies territory this time, and I'm sure 20,000 screaming fans will be against them, so its going to be a tough one to get a win tonight. But when the basketball Gods smile at them, Cavaliers can't do anything. However, Lebron will really push hard to get this one and give them a momentum and to keep our hopes alive. Grin
8008  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Which Market is The best To Find gem? on: May 19, 2018, 11:21:01 PM
Hello there fellow traders!
So as days past by, there are this gem that surprisely booming in the Market.

Can you suggest where is the best exchange we can find  gem to invest with?

What do you mean by gem? Those coins that will give you times X of your investment? I think you need to look at exchanges and of course market cap to check the price and the total number of supplies in circulation. Most advise to check the top exchanges.

But you could also look at other exchanges though, however the problem with less known exchanges is that you might likely encounter a withdrawal issue specially if it involves huge amount (after you found the coin and then pumped hard and you sold everything to take profits.)
8009  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Did the use of online gambling increase with crypto moneys? on: May 19, 2018, 10:49:58 PM
if more and more crypto users I think online gambling will be more and more also it can happen because there will be many ways people to get more crypto than trade.

As it becomes easy to do gambling with the crypto money and easily available of the gambling sites make the more convenient for people to use and play gambling through crypto.

you are right, with the easy way from the crypto and people trying to earn more coins, they will like to deposit using their coins without using their own money or fiat. and this will make the crypto more grow than before and thanks to the gambling for this easy way although gambling can make us lose our coins and it depends on the person. we have an option to use our coins and we need to remember this if we don't want to lose our coins in the gambling games.

I guess it really doesn't matter. If you are really into gambling and you suddenly discovered that you can play online without the hassle of verification, I'm sure that even if you don't have bitcoins, you will search as to how you can acquire and have them in order to play and take advantage of anonymity.

As for losing money in gambling, we are all aware of it and most have its own way to mitigate the risk and control the coins they are going to gamble.
8010  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Tennis League All Thread on: May 19, 2018, 09:58:00 PM
-snipped-

Good tournament in Rome. I am looking forward to QF matches. My predictions for today:
Nadal (1) - Fognini - I am expecting Fognini to put up a good fight today. Will play some kh on him. Fognini has been a tough nut for Nadal to crack several times already on clay.
Carreno-Busta (10) - Cilic (4) - I am going with Cilic win here
Nishikori - Djokovic (11) - This is the one I will probably not bet on, but I am thinking Nisihkori is closer to SF then Djoko
Goffin (9) - Zverev (2) - I am going with Zverev here, he is just playing very solid tennis at the moment and I believe his opponents will have to do something special to get him out of tournament.

All your predictions came true and it was a good choice not to bet on the Nishikori match as he lost against Djokovic.
He will be playing Rafael Nadal in the semis but his form is not like he was when he was winning tournaments.
I don't know what it is when I am watching him play now but that fire to win is not there anymore and just hopes for those big shots to land in the court when he makes them to win a game. Undecided

Yeah ever since Djokovic got injured and got back, he is not the same as he used to be.
Nice semi finals that we will see, I think Nadal will win against Djokovic. Zverev - Cilic is a tough match to predict, but I think Zverev (giving his form) is the slight favorite to win the match.
It’s such a humiliating defeat for Djokovic and I can say that even though the outcome of the game was to be expected,I didn’t expect Djokovic to lose in straight sets the way he did.

Looks like Djokovic was drained in the first set and nothing to offer on the second that's why Nadal take exploited the situation and Djokovic never recover after that.

So its going to be Nadal vs Zverev after all, as he defeated Čilić. This will be a preview I guess, the young and hungry vs the experienced and veteran Nadal. Zverev is really showing us good tennis this year but knowing Nadal, I don't think that he will give a inch to the young Alexander. I wouldn't be surprise in Zverev win, but I bet my Nadal will not let this one slip away.
8011  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2018-05-16] LG Electronics Launches Its Own Blockchain-based Platform on: May 19, 2018, 09:22:16 PM
Yes I have to agree that its very interesting but no one should be surprise by this kind of move, specially huge companies who rely a lot on data to make their business decision. Recently, we heard tons of news about Blockchain which is very good because this technology has a lot of advantage that's why companies are shifting on it and slowly replacing their legacy systems.

I would be surprised if they didn't, because they are going to be left out and their systems going to be too complicated as data needs to be crunches to save time and money, and Blockchain is the solution.
8012  Economy / Marketplace / Re: Do you really care if your data is exploited?? on: May 17, 2018, 06:03:51 PM
I recently stumbled upon a project called Algebraix and they brought up some really good points about data exploitation on their blog (https://medium.com/algebraix-data). So it brought me to ask the question: do we really care if our data is exploited?

With huge scandals like Facebook and Cambridge Analytica, this issue is brought into the lime light. I'm really curious if you guys care or not

Of course, everyone should be very wary of their data not to get into the hands of others and exploit it. We have heard news all over the net of impersonating someone, not alone is a cause of alarm. You don't have any idea until you go to the bank and make a loan but denied and then you found out that someone is using your identify and has ruin your name.

And then there's the possibility that your data might end up in the dark market because someone sold it. There are a lot of ways that someone's data and personal data can be taken advantage of so just be very careful.

8013  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2018-05-16] CEO of Logistics Giant FedEx Praises Adopting Blockchain Tech in Di on: May 16, 2018, 11:12:38 PM
Obviously logistics company like FedEx will really appreciate Blockchain Technology. I think banking and logistics system will be the major industry + pharma (medicine) as well. Because all of them rely on data needed in instant crossing boundaries. So it makes sense for FedEx to apply Blockchain Technology so solve their main problems. So them singing praises about Blockchain is only logical. Imagine how much they are going to save it they adopted and went 100% Blockchain based.
8014  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2018 NBA Season on: May 16, 2018, 10:46:44 PM
I guess I was wrong about the Celtics. They just proved that even with an unexperienced team with a good young talents can potentialy win against a strong opponent. They just played very well, and I guess we'll gonna see different team in the finals.
They are a very different team from last year's ECF and so is the Cleveland Cavaliers. The Celtics have the advantage here over the Cavaliers because James and some of the new faces of the Cavs needed time to acquaint and jell to the system of coach Tyron Lue.
They have had enough time to get used to each other. A whole season for that and more for a lot of players. They even beat the top seeds in the Toronto Raptors. There are supposed to be no excuses at this point. It is the Conference finals.. not some exhibition game to not "gel" and all. LeBron has come out hard this game but theres only so much they can do by himself. The Celtics are just a better team altogether with players stepping up at the right time. Jayson Tatum and Jaylen Brown showing up big time and cant forget scary terry! Smiley
I was wrong about them too Smiley I thought that Celtics can not do much without Kyrie. They are really great composed team. I have so much respect to Brad Stevens and his assistants. And my favorite player last night was Marcus Smart. What an energy that man has, giving so much to the team, especially in defense.
How much more if Irving was there? For sure we would really able to see a very competent performance.I didnt even expect for this team to bloom out and defeating cavs 2 times in a row.If this momentum would continue then we would definitely see another team in the finals which would oppose or break most peoples expectations. 3rd game would happen on Cavs homecourt they should really make some comeback if this would turns out to 3-0 then this is already a dangerous situations for Cav team.

I would say that it might be a blessing in disguise. Without Irving, Celtics team really works very hard entering the playoffs. And now when they face Lebron in the East finals, they poured everything at both ends of the court.

The key is how they rotate and not giving enough space for Lebron, although he made a lot of points in the second game, it's still not enough to get the W. I'm not surprised at Jayson Tatum, I already knew that he will be a good player in the future.

So we are back in the Cavaliers homecourt, I'm sure that the Cavs will win Game 3 and make it 2-1.
The good thing on Celtics team is that they do really have the rotation and each players do have their significant role which means they dont really depend on just a single or double scorer. All of them do have the capability to make basket and thats a good thing where you wont really stress yourself out just like on whats Lebron doing. He pursue and strive on his own, i cant say it isnt bad but team coordination and effort of each member should be done.

Exactly, the only other team that I see that has a good rotation is Golden State. They can really defend that pick and roll and no matter who the player switches to defend, there's always someone at the background willing to help in case its a mismatch. This is what the Celtics is doing on the Cavs right now, which makes it difficult for Lebron and the rest of the team.

Coach Stevens really make a lot of adjustments and the team responded. That's why they are in the Conference Finals and giving the Cavs a good run for their money.
8015  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Satoshi nakamato needs to come out ! on: May 16, 2018, 10:21:42 PM
I don't really follow these kinds of stories anymore, it all end up to be bullshit anyway.
Or people get targeted and harassed, like Dorian. So unless something gets mentioned in all mainstream news channels at the same time, with credible explanation and sources, I'm not buying it.

I think it's pretty plausible that the real Satoshi is either dead or REALLY doesn't want to get his identity revealed.
Either way, I'm not waiting or looking for some big reveal.

I have a feeling that he maybe 6 feet below the ground already. So whoever comes out and claims he/she is Satoshi is completely just riding the popularity of bitcoin just like what we have witnessed in the last couple of years. So I just laugh hearing news like this, because most of the time people needs attention and want to stay relevant. hahahaha

However, most of us wanted to know the real Satoshi, however, the guy chooses to be anonymous and we should respect him for doing that. We have been enjoying his creation and that is enough, in my opinion.

8017  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2018-05-15] Predictions of Bitcoin Price to Sky-High by 2019 on: May 15, 2018, 11:59:33 PM
The closer we come to the block halving, and the important events and developments, the price is pretty much guaranteed to increase, especially in the latter part of 2019.

It's just a matter of summing up the obvious, which means that you don't have to be an 'expert' or 'analyst' to understand how much potential there is to catch up on in the coming few years.

It seems that everyone nowadays is throwing around with extremely bullish predictions. The only downside of this is that we might see an opposite reaction of the market in the coming months.

Regardless of how seemingly bullish the sentiment is, we are one major dump away from a total sentiment shift. It's basically a perfect shakeout opportunity before the market gets bought up like there is no tomorrow.

Correct, no need to be rocket scientist to see where the price is heading in the next couple of years. I really like Fundstrat view though, they are really very bullish about bitcoin although I not surprise because they have huge investment on it so only logical for them to make this bold predictions.

Pretty exciting times ahead, specially the block halving, we may not see the fruits today, but after the next halving I'm sure that the price will take off again. Although the sentiments of investors are still in doubt as evident of the price movement, there will be a time that bitcoin will be oversold again, pushing the price further and probably another all-time-high is in the horizon.
8018  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to hold coins in 2018 on: May 15, 2018, 11:40:08 PM
I don't want to complicate things on my end so I just buy bitcoin and few altcoins and that's it. But as far as holding the best coins, for me it is still bitcoin. But my problem is that I can only hold for 6 months, Lol. I guess I have to dump some and take home the profits.

I really admire those investors who can hold for at least a year. Probably, they just bought a ton and just totally forget about it and just comeback after 1 year to check their investments.

As for altcoins, Ethereum is a good one to hold as well. Its currently above $700 and I'm pretty sure that it will reach another all-time-high this year, above $1200-$1500.
8019  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Tennis League All Thread on: May 15, 2018, 11:20:32 PM
Nice win of Zverev! Nadal will have some competition this year to win Roland Garros, but he is still the big favorite. I am curious to see what the odds will be for Nadal, probably not that high  Grin.

With Thiem defeating him in SF in Madrid, and Zverev winning the trophy, I think the odds will not be that high because he has competition now.

Dominator is a good nick, suits to Thiem, but he faced a real terminator at the finales. I still can not understand how this young man( Zverev) can hit the ball so hard and so strong almost entire match, it is pretty amazing. Only thing that he need to fix is constantity, but I think that it will come with years. Fantastic week for him...
Elimination is a good thing for Rafa. He is not young anymore and it is hard to win 4,5 big tournaments in a row even for King of clay. He had few more days for recovery and that means a lot for his ambition to take another slam title in Paris. By my opinion, he is number one and number two favorite for winning Roland Garros at this moment.
Djokovic played fantastic match against Dolgopolov but we can not extract nothing from that duel, Dolgopolov was injured and is away from his best tennis, something that we can not say for Edmund. British is playing really good tennis and to beat him player need to play physically high level performance and Djoko isn`t there yet. Some of the next matches will show where Novak is right now but still, I do not believe that he can attack the title on the Grand Slam to come.

Dominic 'The Dominator" Thiem, Lol. I like it though. We have seen how Zverev evolved though, he is really a good player and almost every tennis fans knows that he has a good future as shown in the last tournament. But I agree, he needs to be consistent, but it take years to master that. Rafa's body is giving signs that he needs to take a break because he can't take it anymore. 2016 is when we see the young lions trying to proved themselves, but in 2017 the likes of Nadal and Federer came back, however it looks like this veterans really can't sustain themselves. So its either to take some break (just like Roger did), otherwise they will be injured in the long run (in the case of Rafa).
8020  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How foolish are people who invest in Bitcoin? on: May 15, 2018, 10:59:09 PM
Those who have invested during its peak can be call irrational but they are not foolish at all because they already know the risk but they still decided to join in. I'm sure its a expensive lesson to learn. But how can you not join when the price literally skyrocket around that time? Maybe they FOMO, or didn't do their homework but I wouldn't call that foolishness.

Besides there are a lot of crypto millionaires now, doesn't mean they are also fool? Investing is really profitable as long as you got in time before it exploded. Irrational buyers will just come go, learn from their mistakes and come back with a new attitude and mentality.
