One of the reasons these debates are so tiring is the insistence people sometimes have on seeing everything as black or white. There's only "anti government freedom lovers" or "pro government snivelling permission seekers" and nothing in between. That's not how the world works.
Amen. As a member of the middle ground, I'm looking forward to meeting you and the other grown-ups at the conference.

I'm trying to decide between this one and the one in Vienna. Any thoughts on which one will be a better choice?
I was in Vienna two weeks ago, it was my first time there and I'll be back. The city is beautiful, the girls are goregous, and the drinks are a plenty. I see you already dicided to go to Cali but you're missing out on a wonderful city. I'll be at the Vienna conference and hopefully I'll see some of you there. I have had the good fortune to spend some time in Wien. Your certainly right, It is a beautiful place and I may end up going to that conference as well. See you in Cali.!

I wonder how many of those who complain about early adopters would think it unfair had bitcoin gone down the toilet? Would they feel obligated to give them some of their money? Those first bitcoin peers took a chance and it paid off. It makes me laugh how many who were unwilling to take the risk are now crying because the risk is greatly reduced and valuation has soared. Which bird is it that gets the worm? Oh yeah, the EARLY bird.

I would start by spending $20K on a serious mining rig. Go big, or go broke.

You mean "Don't gamble.", right? What does bitcoin have to do with it. Gambling is when you put down some money and it is likely you will never see that money again. Surely your loss comes as no surprise.

Hi Jerry!
Hey you should ship butchered hogs for bitcoin. I think someone here had success selling beef? Anyway, welcome.

Probably more effective to ask if you can contribute to their campaign using Bitcoin.
They like getting money.
Or bribe them in bitcoin. No, don't do that.

So there's a lot of confusion amongst the current Bitcoin enthusiasts.
I have seen "mBTC" used for years now. That has become a very familiar unit and does not seem confusing to me.

That's it! Last night I could not find that video at their website. Thanks man.

BBC aired a very positive story about bitcoin on their BBC America news show. It was about two mins. long and gave a primer on what bitcoins are and why they are gaining popularity. I could not find a link to the piece. If I do I will update this thread. The only part I remember was the anchor (I think it was Katty Kay) saying, "Huh, bitcoins. Maybe I should get some?"

Being that many of the companies are in the United States and you get a Yifu appearance of Avalon. I would say this one will be fun. Ok, done. I will be there Sat. and Sun. Staying at the Hilton. Sweet. Message me when you touch done. We should meet up for a drink in the bar. That sir sounds like a plan. I think I arrive in San Jose about 1:30pm. on Sat.
