I sell my bitcoins for $100 per BTC. My price is what I demand, and is Independent of the Mt.Gox price. I would not take a penny less.

They don't accept bitcoin donations, but will they try to defend someone that used Bitcoin and/or accepted bitcoin donations? Someone should ask them this question.
That's good. If they won't use them, then will they help us use them?

So I posted the question "does anyone else here use bitcoin?" Within seconds an admin deleted my post and deducted 5 points from my "score". I was told that this was against the TOS, and tha they do not allow sales at the forum. I P.M.ed him back explaing that I am not selling anything, I just wondered if others use it. Please investigate and you will see. He took it to some kind of panel for review. Here is their response. A decision has been made, unanimous vote, "It has no place in Political Chat and on Bersa Chat as a whole." So no more posting of bidcoin on Bersa Chat will be allowed.
Again I removed all points, (just a PM warning) and ran this through the board for a reading.
RC What B.S. they obviously did not look into it, they even spelled it wrong. I will be ending my account there. The question is why do you hang out with these retards in the first place ? Good question. The answer is that I like Beras pistols and they have a lot of good info on the topic. It's not Bersa's fault. This is not a forum they run. But geezzz, I just don't get willful ignorance.

I would be interested in a real update with dates for example.

I was kidding about him being a killer. But he must have something to hide bigger than a wallet theft. A spy maybe?

If you are lucky, the police will catch you. If the cassino's "associates" catch you...

Lately I don't even bother explaining BTC if they are at all resistant. It just takes to much effort if the person is looking for an excuse to hate. Besides, who cares. Bitcoin has already succeeded. Let them eat Pay-pal.

Oh, that is the FSF not the EFF. I do donate to the FSF.
|
|
|
... Otherwise, we all owe the FSF a huge debt, and each of us should consider allocating a portion of our charitable donations to them. ...
Done. They can come and get their money anytime. But I only donate in BTC now, sorry.

I sent them a letter months ago stating that I will continue my donations to them when they start taking bitcoin. Their loss, in the past I have given them hundreds of dollars. If they are only going to fight for rights that are profitable to them, then who needs them?

It's still clear that the author doesn't know much. Better though. Last year the title would have left out the brave new world part.

Perhaps some of the attraction of religion comes from hearing what we want to hear? Things like; you will not die when you are dead, neither will your loved ones. Or, the wicked will be punished and the good rewarded, no matter how much it does not look like that is happening. And of course, you have a invisible superhero who protects you. Not all religions believe these things but our universal sense of justice can be shaken upon realizing that we do die, the wicked often die wealthy and happy, and that this world could come apart and kill us all.

This guy has some interesting things to say about consciousness. He is interested in just what it is, and where in the body it happens.(or outside?). You were likely told that it is happens in your connected neurons. But consider an amoeba. It is only one cell, yet it hunts, avoids discomfort, thinks. But where? His research hints at a quantum effect underlying consciousness and perhaps even life itself. http://www.quantumconsciousness.org/Amoebas think? I figured they just reacted to chemical stimuli depending on whether that stimulation suggests food (compatible with absorption) or danger (can cause bad internal reactions), based only on how its genetic code tells it to interpret that stimulation. What happens if you stab an amoeba with a tiny needle, or show it a piece of art? Will it react? But then I'm not a cellular biologist, so what do I know. I'm not a cellular biologist either, I am an evolutionary biologist. And I don't know if Hammeroff and Penrose are on the right track. But I do know that what consciousness and life are is not understood in science. That's what makes it so attractive to study. No one knows yet.

I think religion does a lot for peoples mental health and to create social order. It doesn't matter that there is no actual God.
