I have to ask did you use a simple password or trust a friend with it?

Neither. Not sure how this guy got it. Dictionary attack most likely

One suggestion. A more difficult password which would prevent dictionary attack. I assume you used a different password for you're email which is at least some good news.
7062  Economy / Services / Re: Free Advertising! Call the TROLL LINE , say whatever you want! on: November 16, 2013, 11:30:42 PM
What is the cost?

It says "free". It even states this in the title of the thread.

but, hey! This seems like a interesting way to entertain yourself when you are bored. If someone trolled you would you actually stay there for hours on end? I can imagine someone just ringing you and breathing down the phone for a couple of hours.
7063  Other / Off-topic / Re: Forum addiction on: November 16, 2013, 11:28:41 PM
Is there a need to avoid the forum?  what better way to deal with an addiction then the feed!
And yes..I have an addiction.  It's okay though.

"It's okay though" famous words of someone with a addiction. At least it's a addiction to a online forum and nothing else right?
7064  Economy / Auctions / Re: Bitjiffy.com - Buy and Sell Bitcoin Fast on: November 16, 2013, 11:27:21 PM
Seems the auction ended without any replies from the OP. OP are you going to be uploading this for a more realistic price?
7065  Economy / Auctions / Re: HalfPriceDigital.com - Bitcoin Auctions on: November 16, 2013, 11:25:40 PM
Seems like a good design. but, not much activity on the website so far.
7066  Economy / Auctions / Re: Bitcoin Gambling Website for sale - www.AddictiveLiarsPoker.com on: November 16, 2013, 11:20:43 PM
Add a timer. It's easier to follow.
7067  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Should it be bitcoin or Bitcoin? on: November 16, 2013, 11:19:37 PM
Not sure if bit coin is valid?

Or Bit coin maybe?

I don't consider it valid. because the actual name is "Bitcoin". It is stated that on many websites including bitcoin.org. Also on wikipedia. There has been many discussions about this though and I believe people agreed on just "Bitcoin".
7068  Economy / Services / Re: The oldest sig ad campaign - get 0.3 BTC/month for free! No need to keep posting on: November 16, 2013, 11:06:28 PM

IT looks lime rumors are true about fake hacking

It seems that way. He's not facing up to the community and has been involved in pretty shady things before. Asking for identification just about did it for me. That was the stupidest thing I have ever heard.
7069  Economy / Services / Re: Rent out my signature on: November 16, 2013, 11:05:21 PM
Honestly. You would be better off using the already existing ones. They pay generously. Take a look at the services section of the forum. I think there are around 5 running at the moment. they pay between 0.5-1BTC per 2001 posts I believe.
7070  Other / Off-topic / Re: Which operating system(s) do you use? on: November 16, 2013, 11:03:31 PM

I am not gonna use it Tongue

i love windows look and that is all! Smiley

I'm into programming and that's one of the main reasons I use it for. I also use it for security etc. I do keep my Bitcoins on a offline wallet on a linux distribution.
7071  Other / Off-topic / Re: Forum addiction on: November 16, 2013, 11:02:21 PM

There were 2-3 times when this forum went down for a long time. It's like a total blackout. We should have some information about backup options (irc channel, subreddit, etc) stickied on a front page.

That's a good point. When the site went down I was unaware of any other places except reddit. but, because of the design of reddit hurts my eyes I lost all connection to the Bitcoin world (well pretty much).
7072  Other / Meta / Re: Abuse of the trust system by Vod on: November 16, 2013, 11:00:12 PM
In all fairness "Vod" did apologise right after it. He's given trust to Tomatocage because he does a great deal and helps newbies and others.
7073  Economy / Services / Re: tattoo bounty? on: November 16, 2013, 10:58:26 PM
I would do it for 10 BTC

How much does it cost to remove a tatoo? Smiley

I could go cheaper if it's some visible place, but NOT THE FACE

I'm not entirely sure. But if someone is planning on getting a tattoo on their face anyway. It's the perfect chance for them as they can just get it covered up.
7074  Economy / Games and rounds / Re: GoldenTowns.com - Get Paid to Play - Signup/play Bonus - UP TO 1.12 FREE BTC on: November 16, 2013, 10:57:09 PM
Uff... it seems that is no possible enter in Sad

Working on my end. Make sure that you aren't blocking the code or anything like that. There seems to be a lot of others logged on at the current time also. But, I think it's been reported that they have had a large amount of players and are having difficulties with their servers.

It's so hard to actually increase happiness, it's frustrating.
7075  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Visa Giftcard to Bitcoin? on: November 16, 2013, 10:56:03 PM
If you are selling here at the forum, then I suggest using a escrow so that you or the buyer doesn't get scammed. Search up some reputable escrow parties.
7076  Economy / Speculation / Re: Does not it bother anyone that BTC value increasing too fast? on: November 16, 2013, 10:54:39 PM
Global adoption, supply and demand. What do you expect the price to do? Check out the speculation forum, people are literally begging for cheap coins.

People were saying the same 6 months ago..

The demand from the Chinese wasn't present 6 months ago like it is today and the supply isn't all that much greater. Naturally the price will go up.

Cyprus. Isn't that what speculators used to justify the rise in price the last time?

A lot of people did. But, it's many factors which could of made it raise. And, it's pretty much just speculation which doesn't really mean anything.
7077  Other / Off-topic / Re: ITT we pretend its 1996 on: November 16, 2013, 10:52:33 PM
Does anyone know what that weird noise is everytime I try to get online?

I have this as my phone ringtone now. I used to hate it. But, now I kind of miss it. The things we miss when we haven't got them anymore right?
What are the most famous sayings off the 90's? I can't really remember. I'm sure "totally radical maaan" was popular because of a movie.

7078  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: SteamBits.com - Buy Video Games with Bitcoins! Sale: GRID 2!! on: November 16, 2013, 10:48:38 PM
I should have come in this thread before buying Starcraft II HoS.... Never going to buy there again...

That's very sad to hear. Hopefully, the owner will come back and get this resolved. (highly unlikely but we can wish can't we?)
I've contacted the support email about a week ago and haven't had a reply yet. No one seems to know what's going on.
7079  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: 12,000,000 BTC on: November 16, 2013, 10:47:07 PM
Damn, I missed the 11,500,000 thread. I wonder if there was one. Is the next milestone 12,345,678 bitcoins mined? Then, 13,131,313? I love numbers!

~TMIBTCITW

No. We are now going to open a thread for every 1 bitcoin mined. 12,000,000 Bitcoin is a rather nice achievement so far. It's over half. I remember a thread discussing if Bitcoin would ever get there or would people lose interest. I guess we made it beyond the half way mark!
7080  Other / Off-topic / Re: Which operating system(s) do you use? on: November 16, 2013, 10:45:13 PM
comparison on what. What program would you like to compare

What program? It doesn't matter. Ubuntu/Linux alone will run faster. It has less components than Windows. But, yes the only down fall to Linux is the limitations with programs. But, most of the time there are alternatives which do the job.
