8001  Other / Off-topic / Re: Fuck Summer! on: June 19, 2013, 08:21:11 PM
Here in Britain there is no such thing as a 'summer'. Well, whatever we have for summer is cold and normally wet and windy.

I'm in Britain! Sad I love it when it rains lol, you must be in the north.

Wales gets some shit weather. It's kind of like Scotland so, you know Wink. I like rain, but I don't like that fine crappy stuff where you're out in it for 1 minute and totally drenched down to you're pants.
Especially when it catches you for a job interview that's is the worst. I was drying myself in the restroom under the blowing things. I had some funny looks. Most likely thought I pissed myself....

Otherwise, I love winter, snow and I love the rain when I'm actually ready for it and not doing something which I would like to remain dry.

Literally, these titles mean nothing to me. Just like the above post. You can have all the status in the world. But, it doesn't mean I trust you because you have been a long term user.
This is useful for newbies and spotting scammers. But, they'll find a way to constantly scam, they always do.
8003  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Scammer Tag Request : Oldsport on: June 19, 2013, 08:15:47 PM
Oldsport remains a scammer.

Yet, no ones has given him/her a bad trust rating. To the people who got scammed, please do a trust feedback. It will decrease the chance of future scams. Some people don't use the search function.

You have to wait for it to be confirmed then they will refund it right?

Spot on, they will be auto refunded once they confirm:

Congrats to the winner, shame all those late bids didn't get confirmed (lol). Just goes to show, it's worth getting bids in before the final block  Wink

Now it's time to hate me everyone. I won....I was playing a psychological game right the way through this thread. Bidding very high to start and then sending more funds to the wallet...hehe.

Then stating anymore bids will more than likely not confirm....ahhahha

PS: You can ignore my message I sent you dipsy.

I'm going out for 30 odd minutes. Will it be all right if I sign the address a little later?
(Already received my late bid 1/6 confirms)
8005  Economy / Services / Re: Order Anything from Amazon 5-15% Discount on: June 19, 2013, 07:27:05 PM
How about amazon.de?

I may be able to look into that. Only if there is enough interest.

EDIT: What price range would the item be in? I'm not familar with amazon.de but I would be able to do it.
8006  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Journey from .15 btc to a motorcycle (32 btc) via sports betting OVER 1 BTC NOW! on: June 19, 2013, 07:26:11 PM
Anyone know his name on seals with clubs.

If so he may be logged on at some point and i can try and get so info from him

Try Xboxgames? lol

it is not ty

Maybe look for something related to Xbox. Or you could look at the scam accusations thread. I believe they listed a few possible alternative usernames.

I will definately try to brainstorm on who he may be on swc. Hopefully I can figure out something, all affected by him deserve an explaination.

I wasn't affected, however I nearly did invest. But, I had a gut feeling. Guess I was very lucky.
8007  Economy / Gambling / Re: BlockRun.com - Penny auctions on the blockchain on: June 19, 2013, 07:22:22 PM
Bids that didn't confirm are refunded, right?

No, I don't believe so...

They are. Only ones that are confirmed don't get refunded.

yes, unconfirmed bids are returned to you, give it 5 minutes or so.

You have to wait for it to be confirmed then they will refund it right?
8008  Economy / Goods / Re: [WTS/WTB]iPhones, Samsungs, Laptops & More! on: June 19, 2013, 07:15:47 PM
Tweaked the prices a bit, just put my white iPhone 5 on auction. Here is the link for those who are interested: https://www.bitmit.net/en/item/39954-new-iphone-5-64-gb-unlocked-gsm-australian-version
I will slowly bring more of my items above on the auction platform and see how it goes. Prices will be adjusted as i go.

Doubt anyone will bid. Auctions normally start pretty low.

Can you add a way to check how much you have earned?

You can see how much you've earned either on the Referral page, or under Account > Activity.

How is the site going? I haven't had chance to login recently because of my busy life. Have you had many more people sign up?
8010  Other / Meta / Re: Auctions on: June 19, 2013, 07:09:46 PM
Yeah, I never buy from auctions on this site. Just because they normally get buried and I'll forget about them. I USE bitmit because it's meant for auctions and easy to see auctions.
8011  Other / Meta / Re: Top leader board for reputable members on: June 19, 2013, 07:08:16 PM
Trust isn't global so this wouldn't work.  Trust scores for users are based off of who you have in your trust network.

Dammit, I forgot about that. Silly me.
8012  Other / Meta / Top leader board for reputable members on: June 19, 2013, 07:02:05 PM
I think a top 10/20 of the most users with the highest trust should be listed on a leader board somewhere. Then when I need a service/item I can then refer to that leader board to see who sells what item/service and contact them and feel a lot safer.
It becomes obvious when people have sock puppets so that is no a issue. Least this way I can look at the top people and use the search function to see if they sell the thing that I want.

Obviously this may not be necessary, but it could make things a lot easier for people who don't know reputable members.

Damn, this is such an original idea and gets near to no attention, that's a real shame :/. Maybe you could try giving away The last Of Us? I'm not how you'd have to do since it's PS3 exclusive, but it's a very hyped game and a lot of people want it, so maybe it'd attract more people to play.

Here's a free bump. It's a very good site and a original idea. Willing to take donations for amazon cards? Smiley

Lmao. That's brilliant.
8016  Economy / Gambling / Re: BlockRun.com - Penny auctions on the blockchain on: June 19, 2013, 06:32:32 PM
You've learned a valuable lesson, bid when there is no one else on. Plus you did bump the thread making it more likely for people to bid....but it's too late now, should end in minutes and then transactions aren't going to confirm in time.

Site has earned 0.65 BTC (made a loss altogether) if those last bets confirm.
8017  Economy / Gambling / Re: BlockRun.com - Penny auctions on the blockchain on: June 19, 2013, 06:28:58 PM
its gambling...  its fun.  it actually looks like your bid wont go through, and youll get it back

Yeah right, it has a 4 mBTC fee...

Least you didn't lose 0.20? hey! I'm not going to bid now it won't register...

I did lose .2 ._.

EDIT: I don't find being bidded up 30 seconds later for $20 as my idea of fun, maybe it's just not for me >_<

Not if it doesn't go through, you will be refunded. That's what is likely to happen. There's not much time left.

8019  Economy / Games and rounds / Live Lottery (Live Result) on: June 19, 2013, 06:11:59 PM
Have you're chance to win up to 0.50BTC.

We will broadcast all lottery tickets bought publicly. Each ticket costs 0.10 Bitcoin. There is a minimum of 2 tickets needed to draw out the result.
The result will be drawn live over the web on every Sunday night.
If this draw goes well we will do higher amounts soon.

If there is only 1 ticket bought, the buyer will be refunded. I will also allow the first ticket to have escrow. I will ask for the winner to provide proof of winning.
The draw will be done live, therefore I can't fix it.

Price per ticket: 0.10
Winning prize: 0.50

When sending the Bitcoin for a ticket, please select a number between 1-20. (publicly).

This never interessted enough people I was going to ask people to send the Bitcoin to a trusted escrow for everyone to be safe.

Can i also order from sites which don't ship to my country?

I don't think you can. But, if you can't you should look into a mail forwarder, they are cheap and work like a charm.
