Isidor review could take 6 months and i wouldn't complain because i didn't donate, and i wouldn't doubt it wasn't coming either because rhyno said it was and i trust him, all i can say is it's going to be one hell of a review if SDC wasn't the shit, the review would of been done and finished a long time ago..i see the delay of the review as an indicator of Isidor buying up as much as he can before it's released or he loves SDC that much he is pulling it apart with a fine tooth comb, i suspect a bit of both.
Another 30 days would equal ~6 months iirc. yeah i thought it was around that time frame but wasn't sure so thanks for that. I think it may turn out to be one of the best reviews on a crypto in crypto history. i also think that it will be the one thing that really starts to push the price up, and if it comes before the market  we are in for a wild ride. If the review is as good as i think it will be and comes before the market, the fact the reviewer is so highly respected and regarded in this industry a good review from him will just certify the talent of our Dev team, and when the market releases shit will hit the fan hard, say goodbye to all competition, we will have the BTC advantage, first truly trust less untraceable crypto, first truly decentralized market etc code reviewed by world renowned cryptographer. I don't see a problem with it, the artificial volume is basically for the early adopters, it gives them an incentive to keep holding because the price is always being pushed up, plus those coins bought off the market will be redistributed to the loyal supporters who held and didn't dump, and trust me it's working. the artificial volume is temporary and soon will be accompanied by real volume due to the fact the SMAC team has already sealed a real world partnership with a pay for click company.
another thing to remember is SMAC is only a few months old the first buy back was 25% of the revenue earned from the social media accounts so the total amount made was around 24 BTC and this is first month, they use 30% of that profit to buy more accounts, this coin is very cleverly designed, and the system is working like clockwork, trust me if it wasn't i would dump, and i wouldn't care if it was at a loss, we have a winner here.

SDC has great tech etc but it's real problem is going to be it's name when it comes to real adoption by businesses and the masses, as the Darkcoin rebrand has shown. i have 8k sdc in my wallet, my wallet was v1.3.2.2, am i need to back up or update a wallet to face a hard fork, or its just fine i leave my coin staking ?

We need to get the word out about this more, particularly since we have had a successful buyback. I've tweeted about it (here: https://twitter.com/Soul_Eater_43/status/595634064075423746) but I don't have many followers. We need to get the word out as much as possible - unfortunately most of the attention goes on scam coins or P&D schemes which make unrealistic promises. Once people find out that SMAC has as close as you can get to guaranteed increases in value with it's buyback system people would be stupid not to invest but the problem is getting them to hear about it in the ocean of other coins. Maybe others can suggest some more ways to get the message out? I agree, it's very frustrating to know that SMAC is objectively speaking one of the best possible investments right now, and yet there are only a small handful of us here talking about it. It's also kind of funny that the buyback yesterday, which was unprecedented and maybe even historic (others CLAIM they will do regular buy backs but to my knowledge SMAC is the only coin to have actually DONE it!), is only being celebrated by a tiny handful of community members. That will change with time of course, but it is amazing if you think about it. Like Soul_Eater_43 said, the problem is that SMAC is lost in an ocean of other coins.....but slowly people will start to notice and then look out! I think one thing we can do is talk about SMAC whenever we get the chance. Any time you see a thread about "what is the best altcoin atm?" or "most undervalued alt" or whatever, go in and speak up and post links. BTW i know the wallet problem is most probably 99% certain on my side, because no one else is complaining of this problem, only looking for a tip or a suggestion? have done rewindchain, re-downloaded, checked firewalls, and the last wallet a few weeks ago was working fine and then it just stopped, im lost, my computer must be retarded.
Why don't you grab the blockchain.zip and extract it into the ShadowCoin data directory ... That wil give you a clean blockchain and have you back in action in minutes. ok i will try that, but just in case, am i correct to say my coins will be fine if i don't get it synced until after the hard fork? because if they will be fine, i will do that thing tomorrow cause im tired. just want to double check they are safe as long as i don't try to send them or anything, right? Yes of course ... they are safe and will be usable again once you are on the latest wallet. ok thanks it's not a big deal and is obviously on my end so thanks for your help and i will try that thing out tomorrow. |
