I get sick of speculation as much as anyone but a few people have commented on the price tonight and it's like it's a big deal..seriously just chill out, and i understand what your saying about outsiders not being impressed, i have big money to make so do you, but a few newbies speculate on the price and everyone jumps down there throats is not cool, sorry but that's not how you build a strong community.

Sorry but it's not fair to attack people who speculate on price ( which is positive) but then all band together to argue with trolls or people spreading FUD, this is about SDC at least price speculation has something to do with the reason we are here, arguing with trolls about other coins does not, and it seams to attract less heat for some reason, the price went up tonight, i don't care but others do, lets not rain on there fucking parade, why not let them enjoy the fact they made profit, good on them i say. Garbage, trolls get deleted but we are stuck with moon and 100k forever. No one attacked anyone, it was a debate that got out of hand! If you want to speculate on price jump in irc or make a thread specific to it. All i have seen it criticism when it happens in here, from unknowns. This thread is different to the majority but you advocating for it to be the same as the rest yet trying to convince yourself and others that its positive and promotes maturity. I disagree. I'm proud to introduce Shadow to anyone in the public because our community and threads are mature and without all the junk. I have done personal study on the different reactions from mainstreamer i know. The reactions are "This thread/community is a much easier to follow and more inviting place to be." As opposed to the "fruit market, car yard" type stigma that washes off onto new comers in the majority of the other threads. Real money does not need or want to see that crap. They want to come and find out what this is all about. Real money is watching this industry and they're not impressed. I should know i'm not only one of them but i'm within circles of them outside of crypto economies. We tried the whole marketing fluff and marketplace alt coin space and its not done well. Its had a lot of drama and has attracted quite a lot of filth so lets keep our distance from it yeah? I suggest you guys make a speculation thread, i think it can be good just not here! How longs a piece of string? it can go high buddy this is nothing. I've seen this before, lol  so $1 per coin? Nah, it will climb another few cents and then probably be dumped into oblivion. Everyone coin's the same  Not every coin is testing zero knowledge.. let alone creating their own zk protocol. Traders can speculate swings and take their chances but their biggest mistake is believing this coin is in the same category as some random cartelcoin. That's OK though the coin isn't being made for traders it's being made for private commerce. There's a massive market for real anon and people are starting to realize that there is real development going on here. Deep web pockets are watching this project and waiting for delivery. When the anon tech is proven $50 a coin seems really low to me for instant anonymous zk transfers and peace of mind. You can clone a project but you can't clone the team. +1 well said the potential of this project is massive but people be blind, oh well there loss our gain. I've seen this kind of conversation played out a million times on bitcoin talk. A whole bunch of people claiming their coin is different because it has feature X and people want/need feature X. Usually, feature X is either hyped, doesn't work the way its supposed to, or doesn't even exist, and the "people" usually does not go further than the small band of loyalists who just want to see their coin go up in value. Been around here for long enough to say yes i have seen this many times before but this is not the same completely different SDC is in a league of it's own and if you can't see that i pity you and the profit you will never make( decent profit anyway) |

As a long time darkcoin holder, what really brought me to drk was that Evan was very transparent with who he was and it led me to have some faith to invest in the project.
I'm wondering who is the core team behind SDC? I'm already invested a little, but want to know more.
What made me trust this dev team is the tech they have put out. They never hype anything and they never even announce a project until its already on testnet. Getting a community roadmap from these guys was very difficult because they are so careful to not hype their tech. This is one reason no one has heard of SDC other than those who have been lucky enough to stumble across it. They have released an incredible amount of firsts in crypto within the last 4 months. - First wallet2wallet rich text instant, anon, encrypted messaging - First openssl dualkey stealth addresses - First full feature mobile staking wallets - First HTML5 wallet - First POS lite wallet/SPV Im sure I am forgetting some tech releases but you get the idea. What's even more crazy is that they quickly open source all this tech, maybe to the detriment of gaining notoriety for SDC. They are about to release a tech breakthrough that nobody has been able to accomplish. People have been trying to pull off ZK for over a year and no one has been able to do it. From what I am hearing ZK is testing just fine and will be public testing very soon. All this makes me trust this dev team even more than knowing who someone is in real life. I see Zerovert running with the worlds 1st implementation of zk-snarks. It not to say SDC's won't be a better or more secure version but it is not the first coin to implement it. Same for the mobile staking wallets. Other coins release Android pos coin staking wallets. It's great to toot your own horn but again be accurate. Do try to walk over others accomplishments. It only invites trolling and is damaging to this great coins image. A rampant fan boy can be every bit as bad as the nastiest troll. I'm not trolling as I own a nice bit of SDC either. This is advice the promotion team guys can use. The great features and perfected of ones SDC will speak loudly on their own with out all the semantic bullshit. So zerovert has ZK up and running? since you came here and said it you can show the proof other wise it's bullshit..im not investigating you said it so prove it..links please or it's FUD |

This is exactly how I had hoped you would respond. The dev does not own the coin, the community needs to have a voice on these matters. ShadowCash will get the attention it deserves in due time. The Dev does own the coin but it's a lot nicer when he lets the community decide the future of it, he puts his time and money into it we speculate on the product he creates, without us he has a great product with no supporters but a great product will always find support, without him we have no product. so just don't forget that, it's great he respects the opinion of the community, but lets not forget who is putting the hard yards in. |

Good riddance. That was one coin I didn't care much for anyway. BlockNet is now stronger.
Some of the things it has come out with is top shelf..it is one of the best Alts in the game that's why i am invested, blocknet is not stronger or weaker too lose it..it's one of the few coins with legitimate innovation that's why Dan chose it to join. I hear ya. You're good peeps dadon. I just don't like the 2 biggest trolls over there, and honestly that's why I stayed away. Otherwise I probably would have invested. Agreed those two are driving away more investors for SDC than anything else.  i agree guys..someone always has too ruin everything for everybody..hopefully they dump soon and go haunt another thread. |

Elaborating to get out of some other investments right now to pick up 'em cheap XCs Also trying to get some new funds in asap. Looking at the development going on here I cannot understand anyone who thinks this price is not way below what it should be. This is what everyone was saying since 500k. Hits 400k "cheap xc". Hits 300k, "lol at weak hand panic sellers", hits 200k "cheap xc, nomnomnom", below 100k "EXACTLY... All these panic sellers are a freakin gold mine for me right now." Well, that's good news, considering that coin is owned by a hand of people. Whales bitched out about this to the team? , they paid out to keep their "investment" under control? I hold around 200k of SDC I hold enough too, but I know for sure that somebody out there have a strong "word" to say... Unfortunate... I know who they are and they are the whales everyone was talking about and they said they would dump if SDC joined and i was very happy about that, should of let them dump. |

well, that happens when a coin is controlled by whales  All coins are controlled by whales but they will always dump and move on eventually, the coin and it's features will still be there..the majority of XC is also held by a few i know i have been with XC since the start and hold a shitload of them. Whales never dump (sell all their coins), they only manipulate a market, making more of the main thing which is BTC. Anyway, after this move made by dev, I'll find my way out of SDC as soon as possible. Sad to see you go mate, i will continue to hold both coins, but i must admit i'm a little disappointed, but SDC and XC are both great investments i just think rhyno was pressured into this decision..if it was the wrong or right one will become clear at a latter stage, any way both have great stuff going for them either way i'm going to make some cash. |
