I see few bounty managers are already implementing it with their campaigns. The latest examples are BAL, Sheng World, and SPYCE, ludena protocol.
Having said so, it is the sole decision of the project team to have such a condition of limited participation.
If any project is having a $10K budget, with limited participants they are still spending $10K but the project reach will be limited than having unlimited participation. Within the same budget, if the project is reaching to more users or investors, then this is the way project wants to spend its budget. So from their perspective, it's right.
What we can do from our side is to get upgrade ourselves to stand out among all other participants and by joining more campaigns and so on.

You are absolutely correct. However, day by day its becoming difficult to identify scam projects. There are many legit projects which are not a scam but failed to raised enough funds and closed due to that. We can do anything in this situation rather than say it as a scam project.
To be at a safer side, we can join bounties managed by proven bounty managers, even though it is still not guaranteed about success or payment.

Among all your points mentioned, self-discipline is very much needed for any trader. This decides how strong your will is to win or lose a trade. Keeping stop profit levels is as important as keeping stop loss levels in any kind of trading.

I should say even if all bounty hunters sell their tokens, it would not affect the price as the token pool is 5, 3, or even less percentage of total token supply. Its the early, private investors or team who are responsible for price dump.

It is true that bounty hunters can not be blamed for price dump. As they hold very small portion of token allocation, it should not impact much to the token price.
there is a solution, if projects feel bounty hunters as dumper, they should reward in ETH or BTC so that their toke value can not be lowered due to selling of these.

Although nowadays it's not that much worth participating in airdrops and bounties, people like me still do it because we do not have choice and this can be done part-time.
Jobs you mentioned need technical background or knowledge. Many bounty hunter do not have that but are good in social media marketing.
