We are getting ready to finally roll our our signature campaign :-) As always, I'd like to hear your guys feedback first. I've made some signatures, which you can see below. What do you think? Your suggestions are most welcome.

I'm still struggling with the signature for hero members. I'd like it to have the same text as the others, but with a background gradient. Does someone of you know if that is possible with bbCode, and if so how? Also I've not been able to get the font size for senior members to work. Any ideas why that might be?

Well, I've had quite a few teachers in the past, but I must say it's incredible how much I've learned from the people here. Hope to be able to give back eventually :-)

I want to make this crystal clear: I have based my decision on publicly available information. That some sort of crackdown will happen eventually is my personal opinion. I do not know if it will happen or when. I just don't want to find out the hard way.

I'm a bit hesitant to talk too much about this topic in public because it's a bit touchy. Anyone should feel free to get in touch by email (henry@fastslots.co) or pm anytime.

Having read your comments I think that I might be overly cautious. On the other hand my legal council was of the opinion that if a crackdown happens then the risk to operators would be quite high. I am of the opinion that some sort of crackdown will happen eventually (don't know when obviously), and I'd be quite happy to not be part of it.

I'm also not sure that not being based in the us is a sufficient protection from prosecution there. Stunna also doesn't seem to be based in the US and he has made the same move. I'm sure that stunna has to notch legal advisors, and that he has not taken this decision lightly.

In addition to that I must say that the thread of getting into legal trouble has been a bit of a weight on my shoulders. I'm certain to be loosing money through this move, but I've gained in life quality.

Agreed, having looked through the list of qualifying users this morning I can say that all qualifying users are legit (unfortunately some legit users do not qualify though). Thanks again to boopy265420, arallmuus and the other users that helped coin them :-)

Thanks mate :-) My estimate is that we will hit 140 followers (and hence circa 100 followers qualifying for the competition) in two days. Lets see how all those estimates works out :-)

I did not extend the number, that would be cheating on my part. The conditions state that a user must
 * have at least 50 followers and
 * have at least 100 tweets
to qualify for the lottery (I want to prevent people from just opening 100 Twitter accounts and cheating the lottery). A count this morning concluded that out of my ca 100 followers only ca 70 qualify. So my estimation is that I will need about 140 followers to hit 100 qualifying ones... 

I agree, but it's also incredibly sad. I love the values that the US stands for, like personal freedom and democracy. However I do think that there is some amount of government overreach going on. That Micon case is just one example of many. Threatening someone with 10 years in prison for operating an online casino just seems off to me. Especially if you are allowed to do exactly that if you pay a ridiculously expensive license ($500k per year).

I think what is going on is some sort of a chicken run: many operators will block the US eventually but they want to do it after their competition bc they will get lots of players and action this way. The winner of that chicken run will become quite rich, but is also likely to get into a lot of legal trouble.

I agree with LiQuidx that if a casino wants to stick around, it will have to comply in one way or another.

On a lighter note: Our Twitter campaign is still running, but it's coming to an end quickly. I now have over 90 followers, and the lottery will end as soon as I get 100 qualifying ones. So if you want a piece of the action you should follow @FastBets as soon as possible...

This is in fact only precautionary. We have based this decision on publicly available information. The main reason is that I cannot see a future where the Micon incident remains an isolated case.

We are neither operated nor based in in the US, however we try to comply with local regulation as good as we can, hence our legal council has suggested to move out of a number jurisdictions.

We're not happy to do this at all. However as a startup we cannot afford to purchase licenses that cost upwards of $1M per year in order to operate in the US (in addition we'd feel terrible if we’d have to structure FastBets in a way that forces players to loose huge amounts of money in order to pay for these licenses). As no one on the team has expressed the wish to spend extended periods of time in jail, we decided to play it safe this time.
