721  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Overall winning - Dice on: September 29, 2019, 07:52:36 AM
For short time yes but nope in long term. I experienced that too, everytime i play for a long time on dice sites, i end up with busted all my balance. That's why we should know when is the right time to stop. In my case, i always stop when i profit 10% daily and move to another dice sites, repeat.
But what if you did not manage to win and reach 10% on that particular dice site? are you still going to move on to another site and try your luck there? I thought that you are busting all of your balance so it's a possible scenario that you can lose and won't reach 10%.

Some other percentage that you can consider is 5% so having about 5%-10% is already a good percentage to stop if there will be an incident that you can't reach 10% profit.

@steveabrahams imposed a 10% profit target so he only needs a loss target now, just as he set a 5% loss target per day so if loss target is reached first compared to profit target then he must stop gambling on that day and continue tomorrow. And if profit target is reached then he must stop gambling and continue tomorrow. Well point is we only need to determine profit and loss that we can achieve every day.
722  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Coinmarketexpert:Do you trade, HODL or both? on: September 29, 2019, 06:22:59 AM
Well first, your blog is quite interesting to me and it might be useful for newbies here. You give a variety of fundamental opinions on crypto state and it is very good for others to think about  crypto perspective.

For your main question, I myself do both. I have a number of funds and I divide them into two parts to trade and hold. Because I believe this crypto market is not always in its bad times so I choose to hold on and I also want to enjoy every reflection of this market so I choose to trade too.
723  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Emotions; while betting, will you risk losing your fund to back your club? on: September 28, 2019, 11:20:34 AM
For me, my club is main one, when you have a favorite club, you can't help but have to trust your favorite club completely. I often bet with my friends, I know that my favorite club is fighting a club that is far more resilient, but I have very high confidence in my favorite club so I don't care about anything except my trust in my favorite club. The point is if you support something, you have to support it wholeheartedly. A quote that can make you more confident about your favorite club "If you don't support us when we lose, then don't support us when we win"

Gambling is about winning. If you are sure that a team is winning why would you still bet on your favorite team if uou know that you can surely win betting on the other side. There's no sense betting on your favorite team just to have a peace of mind that you have supported them till the end. Gambling is about money, nothing else.

Only for greedy people who only gamble for money, I understand that all gambling players here have a goal about money but when can we enjoy this gambling game when we only focus on money? This is what makes a lot of threads about greed because they only focus on money. And maybe you say it like that because you never support your favorite team with all your heart, and remember also gambling is not just a matter of strength but luck.
724  Economy / Economics / Re: How long can you endure? on: September 28, 2019, 09:09:47 AM
It is good to be Optimistic, but sometimes you assume the worst so as to be able to endure the hard time, we have thought the bearish  be over by now, different speculations...with the view of things, the bear persists, there is a lenght to which everyone can persevere in tough time. how long can you endure the bear?

If you have been here for more than three years, surely you have experienced a situation like this and that often happens like in 2018 ago. For me whatever market conditions, I will accept because as far as from my experience crypto moves flowing and I follow flow, whether it's going anywhere.

When crypto goes up, everyone hopes that crypto goes down because they mostly miss train, but conversely when crypto goes down they expect to go up and feel disadvantaged. These are traders who do not enjoy their trade, if they could enjoy it surely they would follow the flow of this market.
725  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: why decentralized ? on: September 28, 2019, 07:59:39 AM
I am not fan of anonymous cryptocurrencies. Why? Because simply they can be replaced by second layer solution - for example Lightning Network increases the anonymity of Bitcoin. Secondly, governments will 100% ban pure anonymous coins.
The governments will never approve anything to take over itself from being in control. But the blockchain technology is so revolutionary that the governments will have to approve it to be in co-existence with itself that is why the governments will have no other option to regulate the technology and use it.
So we kinda know what's eventually gonna happen. Better to stock up some potential coins  Tongue Grin

I will not side with anyone, government or bitcoin but many possibilities in future can happen in my perspective. It could be that bitcoin would be completely banned and it could be that bitcoin would continue to grow side by side with fiat, this depends on how we make changes now. But I really hope that bitcoin will continue to grow even though possibility is still fifty-fifty.

I believe cryptocurrency will be bright in the future and not just for privacy coins, but if people have to choose privacy, then we will see the new trend will be on the privacy coins. That will make privacy coins will increase in demand because many people will want to buy that coin. But the government cannot control cryptocurrency as they can't stop the cryptocurrency unless they cut off the internet connection, which will impact too many things in our life.

Indeed, any government cannot stop control of crypto. But they were able to freeze all crypto companies like exchanges that were able to knock out all coins. Except they all transact on the darknet.
726  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🚀 Sportsbet.io - Main Club Partner of Watford FC ⚽ Fun. 🏀 Fast. 🎾 Fair. 🏆 on: September 28, 2019, 06:38:36 AM
sportbet io have been launch patnerhip with SB Live, that's good apps. but IMHO this apps will be more good if we can make a bet with the app not only for get trigger notification on match. but i appreciate this apps, so i can monitor the match with this apps. i hope sportbet can make an improvement with this app

I think Apps is not anymore necessary as even if you will access the site through your phone, you can still view it clearly and can put your bet easily.
In many sports book that I'm using, I've never seen one that has an app, so I think its not that really necessary.

For me it is different, application has an important role in current era especially since this gambling site is a big site. Although there are no gambling sites to implement it, but if SportsBet is able to implement this means they will become first gambling site and this is a new innovation in gambling. What's more, application is able to control bets more effectively because development of increasingly sophisticated mobile applications such as PWA.
727  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is this why Bitcoin is crashing? on: September 28, 2019, 04:49:43 AM
  • Somewhere in August and September there is what the chinese call as Ghost Month. And knowing that these people are very superstitious even in business and finance, they observe so many dos and donts, during this time when they believe the gates of hell are open. But I don't think it could influence the market the way the huge drop happened.

Well I think so too, but I still don't believe that August and September will be a ghost month because I'm not a Chinese myself. But after I trace history of bitcoin from year to year indeed average bitcoin falls every September as in 2017 where bitcoin fall from $4800 to $3000 in September and it again convinced me that Chinese trust had a great influence.
728  Economy / Gambling / Re: This might be a different approach to gambling on: September 27, 2019, 04:57:17 PM
Well we are not gamblers. From our perspective we enjoy coding and developing this platfrom. Besides that we gain pleasure from making something that hasn't been done before and might help out some ppl in the long run. The fact that ppl gamble is not good but atleast we can make sure no one profits from it.

Your concept is very interesting to me and I appreciate your intention that you provide this service for free. But members here are used to various scams, so they are mostly selective in choosing any platform. So indirectly many members here are suspicious of you, and I suggest you give a license to your platform or invite trusted member cooperation here so that your new platform at least has a guaranteed reputation.
729  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Will Alt season come soon? on: September 27, 2019, 02:20:41 PM
Cryptocurrency markets continue to stagger but there has been much talk in recent weeks and months of an alt season. But is this really going to happen?

Altcoins season will be happen anytime soon, but for me honestly, today is altcoins season because most of the potentials coins that are potential  in the market were most of them are dumped all their price such as Eth, Xem, Xbx, Kcs, Bnb, trx, Neo, Waves and Eos all of it are now in very low price value in the market, believe me once bull run comes these all will kick their price in the market for sure.

Previously I thought like that that altcoin season will come soon, but I don't have a good reason why it will happen. And finally now all coins are falling, maybe for some people like you, this is a golden opportunity to buy coins cheaply, but now i needs a strong reason why I should buy, besides reason that price of coins is cheap.
730  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Fiat-to-crypto: is it safe? on: September 27, 2019, 09:53:23 AM
Binance is still considered a trusted exchange so far. They enforce it all because they are one of several centralized exchanges, they anticipate all forms of scam and money laundering in their exchanges. If you have objections to providing your data, it is better to use a decentralized exchange.

Most of the top cypto exchanges started to update their data base or ask you to provide them with the information about yourself. KYC nowadays is something that we crypto users and traders will I guess need to accept that it is happening. If I trade stocks before I trade they will also ask for a lot of information about me but compared to the possible earnings that I would get from trading crypto, I am willing to give them my information as long as I am giving it to a reputable exchanger and not to those new ones that has a low feedback and review.

yeah right, I think KYC doesn't matter if it is applied by a reputable exchange, different from a new exchange or a problematic exchange, maybe they will sell our data. Therefore, selection of exchanges in trade must be right because it risks our data and not only about reputation but about security of exchange, make sure the exchange has no history of security concerns.
731  Economy / Economics / Re: K-POP Company owners are joining the train hype of Cryptocurrency on: September 27, 2019, 07:32:57 AM
I myself support SM Entertainment's plan to create its own blockchain network. So far, K-Pop has a many fans all over world, in fact, I think it's almost like western music. In my own country K-pop fans are very many, especially women, this also has a positive impact on bitcoin where fans will begin to be educated with blockchain later.
732  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin fell again, what conspiracy? on: September 27, 2019, 05:43:02 AM
there is no conspiracy in action, it is just momentum. the price broke the very strong buy support at $9k+ and has been going down because of that thanks to a lot of stop loss orders, panic sellers with weak hands, lots of shorts and like always some manipulation.

Well, I agree that this is not a conspiracy, but because seller panic quite strongly, as we all know that bitcoin has fallen gradually from $12k and penetrated several support area in past few months. And yesterday was a break support area again so that this caused tremendous panic so that traders were panic sellers right away and prices were going down so fast.
733  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Online Cock Fighting on: September 27, 2019, 03:34:11 AM
In some countries, this bet is prohibited. This type of betting is not until one of the chickens dies, only me if the chicken is tired. And if people do it in a forbidden country, then they will do it quietly without anyone knowing (only the group who likes it knows)
You says not entire true because as far i remember there are two different type of cockfighting in the world and on Philipines and Mexico the people at there use small knife as a tool and usually those knife put in between chicken legs and it can kill rapidly the chicken while fight but in Thailand mostly people at there didn't use special tool and it's pure of chicken fight and rare to see the animal dead in the middle of fight so if the chicken give up or run away then the match will ended

Well indeed like in Thailand actual cockfighting fight, in my country too, where fight was pure without any tools. But unfortunately my country is included as a country that bans cockfighting matches, because it violates gambling and animal regulations.

For me online cockfight gambling is less effective because we don't know in detail strength of chickens at stake, maybe cockfight gambling is more effectively done offline and directly.
734  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: stick to the same option or switch to another option? on: September 25, 2019, 02:06:12 PM
There were hundreds of ponzi schemes that used cryptocurrency for attracting their potential victims. I think many have already understood on how this market works. Last year, it was full of disappointment because many expected that it will also be the same as 2017 but it didn't happen.

Well, last year was a wake-up call to most who thought about this market as a source of rich quick schemes or overnight success.

Well that's because some of whales lead newbie and create opinions. But now these newbie are aware of  whales scheme so they are reluctant to return to investing in crypto. Especially big investors, just look at interest in IEO and ICO starting to fall from last few months when compared to last year, decline is very significant and when viewed now only some of projects are successful.
735  Economy / Economics / Re: Your Source of Investment Money? on: September 25, 2019, 11:43:01 AM
a small portion of me invests my money from the results of my hard work in the real world, and most of me invests from the results of prizes.
That's a very safe approach, some of us here who are active in the forum are also making money from online jobs, so instead of investing our income from our day job, it's wise to invest our income here, especially if we earn crypto with our job.

Personally, I made some great decision in the past when I hold most of my bounty rewards that I earn early in 2017, and just sold majority of it during the last bull run, so even though I still hold some which is almost worthless now, my decision is still something that I should regret, I'm still thankful.

Yeah right, investing our income here is better than investing our income from daily work because I think that income from daily work is better used for food needs and daily needs.

It is unfortunate if you sell your bounty rewards now, but I understand why you hold a bounty rewards long enough because I also felt at that time that everyone at that time thought that the bounty token would go to the moon if held long enough. Well, finally now it only becomes shitcoin when bitcoin is weak, fortunately, I always immediately sell my bounty token first to buy bitcoin.
736  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Getting too emotional while trading crypto on: September 25, 2019, 10:48:26 AM
There is really no technique for it but just control.
Once you gain control of your emotion or let us say you got so used of losing in every trade then there might be the time you had overcome it.

Experience mostly is the key to it. I dont have much knowledge in trading like the types of it for I do it manually but I do have the experience and now I can make some good decision.

Well experience does have an important role to overcome emotions, but each person has different characteristics in emotions. I myself have quite a long experience in trading but sometimes it is still difficult to control emotions but my friend who is still new to trading is able to control emotions better than me, I think people have different traits.

Emotions are always sticking with the trading activities of most traders but if they could ignore it then they might get more profits sometimes loss too.I am not having much strategies to avoid it but having a particular goal price to hit will help us to be relax while trading when it didn't reach then just be calm and wait for it to happen then we can able to sell it for profits.

It's hard for traders to ignore those emotions, it seems like you have a trick to avoid emotions better than @OP. I hope you can share here, maybe i haven't known trick. Because sometimes I still experience emotions when trading or losing.
737  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Expected value in sports betting on: September 25, 2019, 09:13:01 AM
To be honest, when I bet on sports, I don't think of the EV analysis anymore, as most of the time I bet on odds that is higher than 100% of return.
Odds changes depending on what I see that could give me a good chance of winning so those analysis are not really important to me, in addition, I am not a kind of gambler who are very serious with what i'm doing, I just gamble, if I loss, I forget it, if I win, I enjoyed it.

This kind of analysis I think are only more important to those who like to take sports betting a serious venture and a long journey.

same, bro. I enjoy sports betting even if I win or lose because my goals are different from most people who only make money on bets. I enjoy it because I like sports games that I bet so that every profit and loss is not a problem as long as I enjoy my gambling. Analysis is indeed important to me but my analysis is not complex in betting, just a simple analysis of teams that play without deeper analysis such as EV analysis.
738  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Change with the flow on: September 24, 2019, 12:24:54 PM
I just created a thread where I used the word "Golden opportunity" which led me to a though that is we crypto enthusiast should start using the words as "Bitcoinish opportunity" or "bitcoin opportunity" right?

I think we need to upgrade our vocabulary as and when there is a change. Like crypto enthus value bitcoin more than gold then why golden opportunity. What do you think?

Enthusiasm for value of bitcoin? is this about price? if it were about prices people would definitely say "golden opportunity" because gold has more stable volatility than bitcoin. And on other hand terminology has been around for a long time, even this has become a basic term. While bitcoin still does not have a name that is popular enough to dominate world market share so it is still not possible to change the term golden opportunity to bitcoin opportunity.
739  Economy / Gambling / Re: MintDice – Bitcoin Casino With Online Slots, Bitcoin Crash & Bitcoin Investment on: September 24, 2019, 11:25:09 AM
Frankly speaking, I do not really care if I lose it all as it happened to me several times already (not only here). I do play here because I like the game and obviously because I do like gamble, not only trying to get the extra satoshi to pay for the withdrawal fee. Even before I joined the campaign, I have tried this site with my own deposit.
That's awesome. You must really enjoy the fruits that have come to you when you were early in this forum. You have a lot of BTC earnings probably. At least, I know that it's not just me that has become bust just because of playing. It's the risk you are willing to do and getting the satisfaction in winning the game is even better. What game do you like most in MintDice? For me, I really like the slots game because I just enjoy seeing all the rolling and graphics. Lol.

Gambling is actually meant for games and don't make it a livelihood because we won't enjoy gambling. I myself enjoy gambling like a game so that when I go bankrupt I have my own satisfaction in gambling. The gambling game that I like still in dice, because I try to explore dice strategy deeper than having to switch games and become unfocused.
740  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Robot trading on: September 24, 2019, 10:08:14 AM
Bots can help because it takes emotions out of your trading. But if you want low risk, it's better to HODL. Cool
But there are also some negative effects on using trading bot, especially if you are newbie on trading or just starting to trade. The negative side on that is you will become lazy if you fully rely on your trading bot and also the cost of trading cost, maybe the cost of the trading cost is extremely high, so rather that the cost of trading bot will add to your trading funds you end up having low trading funds.
But I really don't saying that using trading bot is bad, there's a lot of trading bot that you can get lessons, especially what @Bitmaxz said, you can add some of your trading strategy manually.

I agree with you if bot makes this trader lazy, and this makes many beginners stuck no progress. But I'm sure users of this bot will sooner or later leave their habits because market is difficult to predict with limitations of bot features.

Well, although some bots that are said to be @Bitmaxz are quite capable and can custom their own strategies, but not all strategies are able to be in all market situations. And when their strategies do not match the market situation, their funds will be sucked.
