Coinbase is very legit - just be sure to tumble your BTC if you're planning on using them for anything that might fall into the grey area - they'll close your account for sure there

Commitment to current and previous Investors:

Current day and previous investors will be credited so that they were in profit of at least their investment plus a bonus that equates to approximately 6% roi a year based on time invested going backward from today.  This will be credited over the next year from future earnings both from the current moneypot platform and other moneypot revenue streams.  Snapshots are taken from today.  However, going forward from today, there will be no extra credit.

Looks good to me (a previous investor). It would be great if a special page is set up for us to check whether our account is eligible to the bonus and how much bonus we could get. Or, could it be shown after the login page?

When will previous investors be reimbursed / how will that calculation take place?
723  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] BetKing.io ICO - Bitcoin Gambling website - 581.4 BTC raised so far on: December 18, 2016, 06:32:02 AM
You have a profitable business yet you need to sell some. I dont buy it.

How about this for a possible explanation:

While the business is profitable, most of the profit has been from a few large whales. Whale sightings have been getting rarer and rarer. DN worries that BTC whales are going extinct, which would leave him with very little volume, and so he figures it's better to sell 30% of the business for 2000 BTC now while he can boast of relatively high profits over the last year.

That would seem to make sense. While he could end up missing out on a bunch of value if betting volume doesn't die off, it's a hedge against that eventuality.

Much the same as when the commission model switched from taking a percentage of investor profits to taking the commission up front, as a percentage of the *expected* profits. That was a hedge against the site performing badly. It turned out to be a bad decision, since the site performed way better than expected, but it did limit the site's worst-case commission take.

tl;dr: selling 30% of the business now makes sense as a hedge against possible future outcomes

Does it have to be all doom and gloom?

FYI the site has made 154 profit in the past 17 days. There's no worry from me that the traffic will slow or the whales won't come.

It's business. I don't know why you guys don't understand businesses trying to grow. It happens a lot outside the Bitcoin gambling world btw.

I could sit and do nothing and let BetKing make me a good profit for two years if I liked.
But I would rather grow it and bring in players for all forms of betting. Plus a few other revenue streams we have planned.

You see the success of PrimeDice, Bustabit, Nitrogen, Bitcasino.io, Just-Dice and BetKing? I want to build to be so far ahead of all combined by a huge margin.

That's what we're doing raising extra funds here.
Not because I'm scared of traffic decreasing because it's not going to.

This is literally why companies IPO...to raise funds in exchange for equity. Lol this happens dozens of times every day involving multi-million dollar companies
724  Economy / Securities / Re: Bitstamp investment opportunity at bnktothefuture? Unimpressive... on: December 18, 2016, 06:30:45 AM
a $100 million valuation for a company that's been hacked, is unregulated and its ownership and operation is largely a mystery? you'd get your ass laughed out of any serious investor's office with a proposal like that. and they'd probably boot you in the ass on the way out for wasting their time.

it just goes to show that so many bitcoin businesses still live in a weird little bubble of their own that doesn't have much relation to the real world out there.

let's look at that figure again - $100,000,000.

someone would pay that for an operation run by bunch of guys who lounge around in their underwear in various basements around the world? sure, it makes money. you need a little more than that to gain proper investment. jermaine the crack dealer makes money. that doesn't mean he can list on the stock market.

High risk, high reward man - just like investing in BTC casinos or gambling in them
725  Economy / Services / Re: [PAUSED] Paying 0.015 BTC (15 mBTC) Per Signup on: December 18, 2016, 06:29:46 AM
Only 0.015 mBTC just only a simple sign up.Curious to do this task. Waiting dev to come over your problem.

yes, we all do... Roll Eyes
it would be better though for all and especially for Op, to inform us what the hell is happening.
let's wait one more day...
The OP clearly stated that he is having problems verifying if users had actually completed tasks, get your spam out of here.
Also, the payout is 15mBTC, not 0.015 mBTC.

People trying to claim the offer now, please don't post useless posts here without reading the title and OP.

Sad that people would take advantage of OP for such a simple task...
726  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] BetKing.io ICO - Bitcoin Gambling website - 581.4 BTC raised so far on: December 17, 2016, 09:05:24 AM
Investors in the ICO will be happy if they invest and in 2-3 years we sell for £10+ million I imagine.
Indeed.

Thats never going to happen because betking will have no legal obligations to buy out any holders.
I dont like how your trying to scam people betking.
atleast someone brilliant can smell this scam.
like i said, this will be one of the biggest scams on btctalk

Well, you're just the opposite end of the spectrum in that case - no one believes the crazy guy who shouts things and offers no proof whatsoever

Every investor should get the same amount of shares for their money. Only maybe after a year if you do another ico and issue more shares can the price be higher but not in the same ico.

I know your account says newbie, though it's probably an alt you're building for sig campaigns Wink, but just look in this sub forum.
Almost all ICO's work this way

Not really but my problem is valid anyway. Not all ico's work like that, really only the ones who want to sacm do.

And what ever happened to you selling Betking on Bitpremier? No takers???

Did you think I dont know?

https://www.bitpremier.com/1-other-luxury-items/2125-online-bitcoin-casino

Haha, you guys go to some lengths to troll me in this forum, always new accounts.

I've never seen that ad. It also says it started in 2014 when in fact my site opened in April 2013.
I have stated many times I would never sell for that low a price too. I've turned down offers more than that publicly in this forum.

There's no secret about selling either. If a company came to me right now and offered £3-4 million up front I would sell and move on to other things.
No one is making that offer so instead I'm doing the ICO fundraising and growing the business instead.

Investors in the ICO will be happy if they invest and in 2-3 years we sell for £10+ million I imagine.

If your cash flow is so high, why would you sell for so low?
729  Economy / Gambling / Re: Hack Into BitDice And Get 1BTC! on: December 16, 2016, 07:12:33 AM

We will be giving a big update tomorrow.

Is that good news or bad news?

We have not found any proof or evidence of foul play -- so it's not that type of news.  It's news about the future and how we plan to move forward.

Haha definitely good news in that case. Though it sounds like you're still looking, right?

correct

Well, as they say, no news is good news. Hope to hear nothing from y'all on this ever again Wink

jk I'll hear the good news when it comes in
731  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Worst mistake in gambling on: December 16, 2016, 04:10:59 AM
Betting big/all in on low odds games is a pretty bad mistake, If not the worst. Ive been a part  of  that myself and have seen other ppl do it as well and lose some game which had extremely low odds. I had Golden State warriors on my parlay while they were playing against lakers and I was getting 1.026x on it. I could have left that game out of the parlay but then I thought there's no way they lose. Turns out they were the only team that lost in my 6x parlay. Sucks really hard when that happens.
to benefit it is very necessary. there will be some fatal mistakes which we will do, and we need to know, this is not a defeat that would make us fall, but it will make us great in this game. large or all-in bet with odds that small is bad, but it would be really bad if you lose. Well, I never do that, and it made me realize that it is very difficult to control themselves in gambling.
That does not guarantee a win for every gambler, even the odds are low our chances are still low and I believe it's not worth for your money. It's better to bet on equal odds and analyze your bets carefully, it will be good if you are betting in sports where you can cap games and use your skills in sports betting.

Also when you're betting on low odds variance will hurt you a lot more and when you're betting on high odds variance will help you much more than it will hurt you

send me a PM
Sent you a PM..

Hey, if you're still looking for this I can definitely help you out for a reasonable interest rate. Let me know thanks
Yeah, I'm open to offers..

This is a weird loan request but seems legit. OP want's to still have coins after his loan so he is borrowing not BTC but goods and using BTC as his collateral. Seems like a reverse loan in the Bitcoin lending section. Very unorthodox but a great idea. Hope someone can help you out OP with your Christmas shopping list.

Thanks..

Still looking for someone in the USA for easy repayment..

Also, since I'm offering pretty much the best collateral possible, their is pretty much no risk to the lender.. The risk is all on my side getting my collateral stolen, or the lender shipping me illegal shit.. Lender will also get cash for his paypal so that's also pretty handy too..

I'd say this warrants pretty low interest reflecting the lenders time and effort as their is basically no risk..

This is also not my only option..

Hey man, I'm in the USA, can make the purchases for you via a wide range of methods (PP, CC, bank, cash, etc) - I'm very flexible - let me know
736  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🌟🎲🌟 MoneyPot.com on: December 16, 2016, 02:16:47 AM
I have already invested on Moneypot in the past.
I would like to know if the funds were discreetly stolen by a malicious person or if Moneypot is simply unlucky.
One thing is certain, the current staff of Moneypot is honest.

They are looking into the matter, we just need to be patient until they find some answers.

I saw that in the bitexo chat that AllorBroke said you guys asked him to invest in the bankroll for 30 days, but gave him 15 btc for now.

DogeDigital spoke with him, so I'm not exactly sure of the details. What I do know is that "allorbroke" was sent 15 btc and invested the remaining 56 btc into MoneyPot.
Do you know if investing in the bankroll was something that he wanted to do, or was it more like that was his only choice?

Unless he owed money to MP, why wouldn't he have a choice?
737  Economy / Gambling / Re: BetterBets.io |2017 Promo starting Dec. 15th|🎲 DICE★PLINKO★C.O.R.E. on: December 15, 2016, 06:06:39 PM
...

Is this total volume or per-bet volume?

We are talking about total volume. Prizes will be proportional to anything over 5BTC wagered volume, between 15 Dec and 15 Jan.

 Smiley

So if my personal total volume between Dec 15 and Jan 15 is over 5 BTC I'm guaranteed some kind of prize?
738  Economy / Gambling / Re: BetterBets.io |2017 Promo starting Dec. 15th|🎲 DICE★PLINKO★C.O.R.E. on: December 15, 2016, 04:47:52 PM
Any word on what the promotion is exactly?

Hi fiscorcle, we will not release more information until we get closer to the launch date.

 Smiley

Lol how much closer can we get? Seems like we're on the cusp already

Right now starting today, player accounts will be recorded and anything over 5 BTC in wagered volume (not losses, but volume) will auto flag your account for the bonus and new features dropping on us all Jan 15th. There will be a short maintenance while we upload the changes and new systems then all will be revealed Jan 15th. Unlike last year it will be modeled a bit different, and an entirely new (but established) community will be welcomed into BB. Have a great holiday everyone, be safe.

Is this total volume or per-bet volume?

Does this have anything to do with going around locally and giving business fliers advertising your consulting business, and then just referring them to "legitimate" consultans and collecting a fee?
No, not at all! Although, that seems interesting, my method is not that complicated.

Heh very common method over on HF - just sign up for some offers that pay you per referral, print out a professional looking flier, distribute around neighborhood saying "Hey, saw you guys have a pretty good business - got some ideas on how to make it even better!"

Have logo, website, profit, done. Nice and easy
