721  Economy / Economics / Re: Can we totally eliminate all the banks in this world? on: February 24, 2018, 04:02:53 PM
Unfortunately this will never happen. The only thing that can contribute to this is introduction of passport data or some other data that will certify our identity in all cryptocurrency world, for without it most governments will not even think about legalizing bitcoins and other cryptocurrencies. Banks have already been proven for centuries and people trust them, so there is only one decision and it`s introduction of identification data.

Yes, you are absolutely right, I have been saying the exact same thought every damn time to new people I meet that wants the banks to just go away immediately. I cannot even stress enough how real what you have said is. The government or the banks maybe taking advantage of this fact to exploit this type of explanation to get things in their favor but even if we don't want to admit it, having regulation is really what's best for crypto when it comes to crimes. Which is why I also think that without the identification data from owners of all cryptos, I do not think that the government or the banks will ever allow the legality of the cryptos.
722  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: 15,000usd at the end of Feb for Bitcoin?? on: February 24, 2018, 02:14:22 PM
hey guys.. just want to ask your opinion..

if btc can reach at the end of this month its break through.. base on this report.. that ive read.. it says about 6000usd at the start of feb.. but now the current price doubled its value then.. now the price gone up to 11,000usd as of now.. and its flactuating every single minute or hr.. now some people say that its time to invest  now in btc.. heres the link of the news that ive read.. ill just qoute it.. https://www.express.co.uk/finance/city/921735/Bitcoin-price-rise-latest-cryptocurrency-almost-doubles-value

thank you so much..

Well I guess that it would really be pretty awesome for us bitcoin lovers if the price of bitcoins ever happens to reach $15000 by the end of this month because this will give lots of us profits or even get closer to breaking even for all the losses we've been suffering for the past few weeks. But sadly, I really do not think that this is really possible judging by the price of bitcoins today and how it moves. But I sure hope march will be different.
723  Economy / Economics / Re: stop being negative and start being positive. on: February 24, 2018, 10:32:37 AM
You all have given great responses and I really appreciate all your opinions based on the subject matter. It is very nice to know the fact that there really are quite a lot of people here in this forum left that are pretty positive and wants to spread positivity themselves all over the forum and sees the relevance of negativity in the crypto world and real life. Which is something that is really true and cannot be denied by anyone. If you think about it, anyone who really denies this fact just shows how delusional he or she is, and if not, he or she is completely lying to other people.
724  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What to do if you lose $2,000 in trading? on: February 23, 2018, 02:02:28 AM
Great post op, but do you know what the biggest enemy of every investor is? It is not in any of what you have mentioned. Because clearly, it is one's self and nothing more. You see, all this can be prevented if one does not let greed get the best of him. Of course, it is okay to be greedy sometimes but everything in this world needs moderation because just like what everyone says, too much of anything is never good. Don't get me wrong, I ain't saying we have to be perfect or that it isn't right to make a mistake or fail. What I am saying is that you don't have to fail to learn when there are already a lot who failed before you. Again, one's self is the enemy, unless you learn to take full control of the whole you, reqding will be less tiring and any other necessary and unnecessary traits will be easier to control.

Just a simpe opinion. Smiley

Edit : Thanks for this post, it really is refreshing to see more possitive and motivational posts in the see of FUDS and negativities. Gave you a merit by the way because you deserve it.
725  Economy / Economics / Re: stop being negative and start being positive. on: February 20, 2018, 02:57:09 PM
Easier said than done, and not only that but people tend to weight the negatives heavier than the positives. Then when you look back you feel like a lot more negative happened and that isn't true. If we work on filtering the good more we will see our lives are actually fabulous given the real amount of problems we have. I can think of zero real problems I have in my life right now (1st world problems don't count as problems) and for that I am ever grateful.
Yes it is true, negative thoughts or  scammer will not belong here as long as they want this forum to be broken. We have here to promote the cryptocurrency especially for bitcoin because this is a root of our income and we should take care of it as we take good care of our profits.Positve thoughts of this forum activities is the only way so that the cryptocurrency will be allive until the end.
They are good in tongue but not in mind, this guys only aims for merits thats why they are doing such LONG STORY to find attention and maybe to be merited..but trust me when time comes of DIP when prices are totally red, theyre the one who's withdrawing funds all the way lol.

Lol. I see that you're quite pretty sure about how you see me. Well, I'd be a damn liar if I said I didn't want any merits. But I sure am not begging for them. If someone appreciates what I say or express and gives me a merit for it, then great, I am very thankful. And if not, I am still grateful that they spent some time reading my post. I only shared my experience because lately, I have been seeing lots of negativity in the majority of posts all over the forum. I mean, wouldn't you want to see something positive out of all the negativity surrounding the forum? I don't know about you but I would surely love to see more optimism in this forum since there clearly are a lot of great things happening but most of the time people only see the bad ones.

Oh, and by the way, I consider reading as a great thing, which is why I got hints to not panic sell. I actually think I found clues on the past years of bitcoin that made me believe that there is somewhat a pattern for all these dips like, what month of the year these kind of dips mostly happens, the percentage of dips for the past years, etc. Although not as accurate as what I wished it would be, it really kind of helped me a lot in putting realistic marks on when I should sell and take profits or hold. Although profits may not be as high as other big players out there, at least I still am seeing profits. And for this year, even when the percentage of the drop isn't anywhere near the biggest percentage of the drops, the time frame of this happening is somewhat frighteningly fast. But even so, I think that only the time frame has changed and that the same things will probably be happening like the past years. Specially now with the lightning networks in place. Which is why I am still holding and buying bit by bit whenever possible.

But hey, no offense taken here my friend, we all have different perspectives about same and different things which is why I totally respect yours. I am really glad that you took the time to share your own opinion. Thanks pal, and good day. Smiley
726  Economy / Economics / Re: Can we totally eliminate all the banks in this world? on: February 18, 2018, 11:52:22 PM
What is the future of cryptocurrencies when all the government need to do is to close the bank accounts of businesses or exchange?

https://www.coindesk.com/bitcoin-businesses-face-bank-account-closures-in-singapore/
I know bitcoin has Come a long way since it had started and in its journey it has gained a lot of popularity and users throughout the world. But still I don’t think that bitcoin can eliminate banks from the world because firstly, banks are way more popular than bitcoin and they have way more users than bitcoin through out the world. Secondly, banks are more trusted than bitcoin and banks regulate the currency of any nation whereas bitcoin is not regulated by any bank or government.

I absolutely agree with you op. Even with all the love and support that I give on bitcoins, I still honestly do not think that banks should disappear. But you forgot to mention that there are way more important reasons other than popularity and trust. And those are things like, supply, usage, debit system and so much more. Which is why bitcoins still cannot be something that can replace banks and fiat money. Of all the issues it currently has, bitcoins has, it just obviously isn't ready yet.
727  Economy / Economics / Re: Positive thinking brings positive things. on: February 18, 2018, 11:30:06 PM
I don't think it's a good idea to use in business and in trading the usual "believe and achieve" approach form "The Secret".
You can think all the positive you want, but if you don't take the right decisions it's very unlikely that you will "create a reality" where the market will adapt to your wishes...
So, it's ok have a positive attitude, but keep your feet on the ground and don't forget that the "law of cause/effect" is much stronger than the "law of attraction"

You are absolutely right and I couldn't agree more. Clearly, the benefits of being positive has its own limits and will surely be never enough to achieve success in any field. To achieve success, one should also accept all the negativity and learn from them rather than just ignoring them and putting them aside. Because clearly, all the bad things(negativity) that happens in our lives are the ones that really do teach us most of the greatest things that any man or woman should learn in life. That is why I never ignore all the negativity that comes to me but instead accept them as things that just happen naturally in life that we can never avoid but can really learn a lot from.
728  Economy / Economics / Re: Do bitcoin millonaires deserve their wealth? on: February 18, 2018, 11:23:39 PM
It is know that bitcoin has made a few millionaires, but many of these people don´t have any particular knowledge of the economy nor business. Do you think that is a fair situation?

LOL. You are a one hell of a bitter person to be even able of having this kind of thought running into your mind. Of course they do deserve their wealth unquestionably. That is, if they really managed to get it in legal ways and in the right ways. like investing, working on this forum's various bounties, trading, or b just holding. Because if they just use phishing things and hacking to steal other people's hard earned belongings, they do not.
729  Economy / Economics / Re: Where Will The Digital Economy Take Us? on: February 18, 2018, 10:56:06 PM
What will happen with Blockchain technology in the next 50 years?

Well, the way I see it, block-chain technology will surely do bring us to the future. And either it will be a great future or a bad future of monetary system for the people will entirely depend on the governments and the people if they will fight for what they think is right and not let governments enforce their selfish ideas on it to have selfish benefits that only the rich and the likes of them can enjoy while others or the poor people will be the ones to suffer. Because obviously, by that time, governments have either already found a way to regulate cryptos or made their own that people will have to use instead of the old cryptos that may already have been branded illegal. That is what I think.
730  Economy / Economics / Re: Debt and Crypto? on: February 18, 2018, 10:27:34 PM
I was wondering what everybody's thoughts were on issuing debt based on cryptocurrency. Debt is an extremely important factor for economies to grow. In a simple example, very few people would actually be able to purchase a house without debt. If you can't purchase large cost items like cars and houses, to name a few, the economy will literally collapse. Not to mention that transportation would become a very big problem. There's more examples to be made for starting businesses and many more but I won't discuss that in my original post.

Cryptocurrency is not inherently a debt instrument and cannot simply be "printed" or issued past its limit. I know a lot of people here feel that banks should die and banks are evil, but realistically I don't see how an economy can survive without debt instruments and issuers. If Bitcoin does replace all currency, does this mean that banks will collapse, or issue their own cryptocurrency to 'lend coins' to people who would like to make a big purchase and pay it off over time? Would it even be possible to pay interest back on a large scale if a coin has a finite supply? If there is 21 million Bitcoin in debt lent out and circulating, how could there possibly be a way to collect more than that by the bank. Would multiple cryptocurrencies solve a problem like that, or would it mean that the debt just gets pushed off onto some other coin and then also onto another infinitely?

I love Bitcoin and all this technology, however I have not theorized a way in which it can completely rework debt instruments and the institutions that supply them. IE: Banks.

Would love to have a discussion going on this topic. I have pretty limited economic logic!

You know what op, people who are hating on banks and want it to be gone are either hypocrites or delusional. I have said this because we clearly cannot survive as an economy without the banks that most of the people here wants to be gone immediately. These type of people mostly think only of what they think will be a good thing to happen without even thinking about what will be the consequences because they are either close minded people or just too lazy to find out more about how things are connected with each other. Don't get me wrong, I too hate the banks and the way they force into us the overly outdated monetary system we currently have today. Clearly, they still really hate the idea that they cannot control and benefit from the existence of crypto currencies. But even stating so, I wouldn't want them to be gone just yet(not till issues that the cryptos are currently experiencing are already taken cared of).

Great post by the way op, you deserve a merit so imma give you one.
731  Economy / Economics / Re: tax on: February 18, 2018, 10:08:47 PM
in your country income from bitcoin taxed? state the country

Well the great thing is that, there really is no such thing yet in our country that is making crypto loving people give taxes on earning or storing any kind of digital currencies. But the thing is, our country is like just turning a blind eye on the issues that are both positive and negative about any crypto currencies out there. Which is pretty scary since it makes me think that they are planning some big things to do either good or bad for the crypto currencies. I just wish that banning of cryptos or giving taxes that are completely illogical or are just obviously too high that we obviously have to follow since we really do not have any choice because they are the authority, they are the government.
732  Economy / Economics / Re: How do you see the bitcoin economy 10 years from now? on: February 18, 2018, 09:51:55 PM
It will have a lot of rich people who have benefited greatly from Crypto. But I imagine there's going to be a lot of negative drama that's going to leave a lot of people sour. Big players taking advantage of smaller ones.

I completely agree. This clearly is very true indeed since a lot of drama has already been happening a few years in the past up to this present day. And clearly those who already know better and already have a lot of bitcoins, really did do some things that even not so obvious is still ways to fool and distract the weak handed people and just take advantage of them. This happens because people want to get higher in the ladder. Which is why they do not care whom or what they step on to just to be able to gain a lot of profits. But this is the real world, so the only things that we really need to focus on now is not the fact that big players are taking advantages of our weakness, but the mere fact that we really have a lot of ways to earn and can still be able to gain massive profits if we just do our best to know a whole lot more about cryptos.
733  Economy / Economics / Re: crypto market demand is increasing on: February 18, 2018, 09:30:13 PM

Hell yeah! Good thing that I really stuck with my decisions and never really sold and stopped buying in the past few weeks! I have just proven to myself that it really does help to read and study the past of bitcoins and most of the alternative coins that have already been existing for quite a long time already. Because if I didn't, I would've panic sold already and stopped the cyrpto things long time ago.  I wish that a lot would actually do things like this also to really have some clues on what might happen next in the crypto world. But don't get me wrong, I am not saying that this clues can really bring you accurate conclusions because of its clues. I am just saying that it really is a great thing than having no knowledge about anything at all.
734  Economy / Economics / Re: Possible to check distribution of bitcoin holdings on the blockchain? on: February 18, 2018, 08:43:31 PM
So if bitcoin and cryptocurrencies are open for the world to see because of blockchain, are there any charts that show the "wealth distribution" of the coins? So if you wanted to determine that like 40% of the coins are held by 1 entity or if it is a lot more spread out than that? Is that research already done anyway? If so, where could I find it?

First of all man, why the hell would you even wanna know who holds how much bitcoins a person has in his possession? I mean, who would even wanna know something like that? Seriously. Do you wanna know this because you wanna know if the one holding the biggest amounts of bitcoins is already dumping? or is there any other reason? Anyways, even if someone is also like you and also wants that type of information, I really do not think that he or she would even do that, considering how much time, effort and resources is needed to conduct such research/task. Because clearly, anyone can own from 1 up to 20+ bitcoin addresses with each one having different amounts of bitcoins. And obviously, there is no way to see if they are connected unless they have been making lots of transactions with each other, but of course, that still cannot guarantee that those addresses are really owned by the same person.
735  Economy / Economics / Re: stop being negative and start being positive. on: February 18, 2018, 08:24:01 PM
I don't know if there is a lot of negativity in most things. What might complicate things is, for some strange reason we expect things to be easy which makes us prone towards becoming discouraged when the problem solving process is more difficult than expected. Its also common for some to have an exaggerated mental image of what their capabilities and resources are. Overconfidence is an easy state of mind to achieve.

Some believe a "positive mindset" is defined by 100% avoiding details, facts or anything that is unpleasant. I try not to subscribe to that pop culture worldview which may espouse "pleasant delusions" over "unpleasant truth".

In the 3rd Lord of the Rings book, The Return of the King, there's a scene where a city is besieged by orcs. The orc army is decapitating captives and using catapults to launch their heads over the city walls so that the populace are being bombarded by the severed heads of their neighbors and others they knew personally. Everything looks bad. The city defenders are being overrun. Everyone is giving up. Of course that's when the heroes show up, they rally everyone and give them hope. Eventually defeat turns into victory.

I think that describes something like a real positive attitude. Being aware of what the negatives are and maybe not letting them discourage or be a downer. Being able to rationalize things in a way which prevents the negative circumstances which can plague someones mentality when circumstances look dire or dim.

Thinking about it, there could be specific ways to achieve this which could be perspective based. It could be based on the way people choose to view their circumstances and the world. I'm not saying this as someone who claims to have all the answers. But more as someone who used to be a lot more negative. I think you could be right in that the only way to be positive is to face facts and realize they aren't so frightening or scary as they might have initially seemed. What could be more frightening is refusing to face facts and not having any real semblance of control due to there being no reliable means of quantifying what is what. To play the game people need to know what the rules and reality of things. Refusing to face facts is like trying to play an MMORPG without knowing the controller mapping.

Man, that was an amazing response. And I couldn't agree with it more. How will anyone be ever equipped with the right items, upgrade the right skills if they do not understand how the game works together with all the functions of every item and every skill(dota 2 player here btw lol)? The same things really do apply in real life. If you cannot accept the fact that you do not have the key for every door or every solution for every problem, you will never appreciate the solutions and keys that you already possess for all these doors and problems.

I hope a lot will be able to read your response to my post.
yours clearly is easier to understand.
imma merit you coz you deserve one, thanks for the response and good day man. Smiley
736  Economy / Economics / stop being negative and start being positive. on: February 16, 2018, 07:46:22 PM
Good day people of bitcointalk forum!

I am writing this to all those people who are already way in too deep on the addiction of being negative. Yes, this message is for you my dear friends, and for all the others out there that are on the point in their lives where all they see are negative things which are unconsciously getting drawn into the addiction of being a negative thinking person.

Now, at some point in our lives we all have had bad experiences right? I mean, who didn't? You see, whatever it is that you are going through right now, somebody is going through worse(or something like that). Do you know what I mean? Okay, stay with me. So, how do you cope with all the negativity in your life? Wait, let me rephrase that, have you even thought about dealing with all the negativity that you have gone through or still experiencing? If not, then I suggest that you do so. You see pal, most of the people will tell you to just ignore them and look in the bright side instead and be more positive. But ask yourself, has that really ever worked for you? once? twice? a couple of times? Well, I'll tell you why not or why it didn't work out for longer than you have expected. It is simply because what you are doing really cannot make you a positive person. Well, maybe sometimes you think it works but then later on, you start feeling the same way again and you do the same cycle every damn time without noticing a single thing getting better. You do the same thing over and over again with every negativity that comes to you. And guess what? It still didn't work and probably won't ever work. This is most certainly because you are not being positive or doing a great strategy to become more positive in life. Instead, what you are doing is just running away from all that negativity and just lying to yourself using the strategy "looking at the bright side" as a disguise or a cover up for all your running away.

Now don't get me wrong, I sure ain't saying that sitting down and resting is a bad thing(a better thing to say than running away lol). I mean, resting is actually good for the mind and body. In fact, it has been proven that having a good rest physically and mentally can really make anyone be at their best at whatever they do or face all throughout the day(the same principle also applies to your lifetime as a whole). But, as what people always say, "too much of anything is never good." So okay wait, what is it really that we have to do? Well, one thing that really worked out for me is facing all these negativity straight on. I really do not know how to explain it deeper so let me just tell you guys what I did. one day, I went inside my room, closed the door, laid on my bed, shut my eyes and then let my thoughts run freely for a while until I get comfortable. And then I just started thinking about all the negativity I have in my life together with all the positivity. Believe it or not, there were actually quite a lot of images and scenarios that I saw, both good and bad mixed up altogether from biggest to smallest. Memories like losing my first pet, getting kicked out of school, being a disappointment to my family, and so much more. There were also memories of that time when I, together with my team won a school to school soccer competition when I was on 7th grade and that time when I first had a motor bike. I was literally having mixed emotions and didn't notice that tears were already falling down my face. Then it started to get harder to focus on memories that I missed, and the memories that I hated remembering. But then slowly, looking back at all of them, things started to make sense. Then the process of accepting everything as normal things that really do happen in life started all by itself. Yes, it took me a couple of days before achieving this and a few more in repeating it over and over again until one day I suddenly felt this great sign of relief. At last, I have finally been able to release all these negativity inside of me. And no, not by running away from them but by accepting them instead and seeing them as things that make me as a whole or who I am. Something that makes me even better and stronger than ever before rather than something that just cripples me that I need to rid myself off. Acceptance is what I think enables a person to really grow. And it is really ironic how we all need to accept this because the sooner we do, the earlier we start to actually grow. There just ain't no other way around it.

Even though, I really cannot deny that every now and then, I still get carried away by negativity sometimes, I am pretty confident to say that I am now more comfortable in dealing with them. Absolutely more than I ever was. Decisions are more easier, problems weigh lighter and pretty much everything is more bearable than it used to. Yes, this may be a never ending process, but so is life. So you better start early, make it a habit,  start now.

Ooookay! You may be wondering what all these have to do with bitcoins and stuff here or the crypto world as a whole. Well, just look at it this way. In the real world, we experience all sorts of positivity and negativity every day. The same thing goes when we are here in the crypto world. Because whether we like it or not, as much as we need a good working mind to make big decisions in real life, it is also the same here.

Hope this makes sense, reaches and helps you guys in any way.
good day and good luck,

-Similificator

737  Economy / Economics / Re: Do we need regulations? on: February 16, 2018, 05:41:06 PM
How do you guys think? Do we need regulations in the crypto world? Should only ICO be regulated or legit coins (not "security tokens") too? Can we implement regulations mechanisms in code so that corrupted governmental institutions couldn't manipulate the industry? Can we still have free market with governments' regulations across the world?

Please, share your thoughts. I'm a bit confused about what's happening right now.

Well, if you think about it, we are really in a bad situation. Just try looking at all the cryptos that are currently present together with all the ICOs out there, most of them are totally useless and does not even work to solve real problems that can really benefit both the crypto world and the real world. We are in a time when looking for a great coin to invest on other than the top ones, is like looking for a needle in a hundred rolls of hay stacked untidily.

This is why we badly need regulation in our system. But the thing is, we can never really do anything when they decide to take advantage of being the ones that regulate all the cryptos. Because they are the government.

But whatever happens, I sure won't be letting go of cryptos. And even when I have to be a fugitive because of holding my cryptos, I do not care. And I pretty much think that a lot will also do the same.
738  Economy / Economics / Re: popularity of bitcoin dictates demand, means more profit on: February 16, 2018, 05:20:04 PM
For me what I can see here is the law of supply and demand, Bitcoin has already proven its value can really soar high so more and more people are now interested in getting it, they are thinking that they can gain profits for owning one. So the more people wants it, the higher the demand, remember Bitcoin supply is limited hence, in scenarios like this, its value will go up. Smiley

Precisely! It really is nice to see that some of the newbies nowadays really do know more on what they are talking about and not just blabbering nonsense things all over the place for the sake of post counts. If only a lot more newbies are like you, I think the forum will be better. Although I am not saying it is bad, it really is in a state where people do not post to pass, share or to ask for information anymore. Instead, most of the people nowadays only post for greed. Which really hurts the ideology that this forum was built for in the first place.

Anyways, back to topic. Judging by how the crypto world has been moving for the past few months and years, I think that we are all heading on the right path, all the things that has happened that most of the people think is a bad thing is actually a very healthy thing to happen for the crypto world. If this path continues, then I think that cryptos will really lead every supporter to success together with it.
739  Economy / Economics / Re: Positive thinking brings positive things. on: February 16, 2018, 04:55:27 PM
This is so true and this is the reason why we should think positive and always be positive and not negative in all of the things because it will bring positive things in life like we can reach our goals without being so stressed because with the positivity it means that you are so inspired and less stressed.

Absolutely. Just think about it this way, If you are currently thinking of buying some flowers for your beloved girlfriend on a great occasion or just because you want to put a smile on her face, but you are already thinking of negative things way ahead of time when you haven't even gotten out of bed yet like; it is so tiring to get out of bed and go out to buy flowers, flowers today might be too expensive, what if I get to an accident? What if the flower vendor is too grumpy and all? or what if she doesn't like the flowers that I might buy? Now, thinking about all these negative things, you will obviously not get out of bed to buy flowers. But if you have thought of positive things like I wonder how happy she will be when  she sees the flowers I may buy, or I wonder if what she would hug me and kiss me? and so much more instead of negative things, then you would already be on your way on the flower shop. you get my point man? This just shows how important positivity really is in a person's life.
740  Economy / Economics / Re: Good business is a business that begins, not questioned continuously on: February 16, 2018, 04:32:06 PM
Many people in this world are always questioning this, what is a good business? Well, good business is a business that begins, rather than being questioned because the hard thing in doing business is to walk to the first ladder. If we do not start a single step, we will never get to the top. Just as with trading, or investing in cryptocurrency, without trying and starting investing in it, you will not know how much profit you get, and how much experience you will receive if the market is down. Remember that experience is the best teacher.

I certainly do agree. This really is what people should really think about closely and not let their fears hinder them from trying and failing so they can continue to grow and never stay stagnant for the rest of their lives. Clearly, those people who prefer to be on the safe side will never experience success and anything better than what is already there. Unless a person faces his fears and use it as something that pushes him instead of something that draws him back, he will never move forward. Which is why I advice everyone to never be afraid to fail, if your tired and bruised, then rest. And after you have managed to get yourself back into pieces again, continue to move forward. You can go as fast or as slow as you can, it really doesn't matter, what really matters is that you never stop moving forward. See every failure as a blessing to get more knowledge and not as something that cripples you. If you keep this in mind, I assure you everything will change for the better. It may be a rough road before reaching success, but at least your moving towards that goal. And besides, what makes success more sweeter than tasting it after you swallowed all those bitter things.

hope this reaches the heart of many and motivates Smiley
