I have rarely seen a dev express his intent as clearly as the FIND coin dev did. So if you are confused or waiting for the price to go up pull your head out of your ass and read the dev's posts. because they never had to move the premine. That is what was slightly clever about this. They got members of the forum to send them many times the premine amount. that allows the premine to sit safely untouched while they sell. Well, I get that, but when you dump the coins the ppl have sent you for the miners; and decide to abandon the whole thing, you could have dumped the premine too, it wouldn't have mattered, right? If you know you're getting out, and got like 2 or 3 times 0.15 btc, why don't you add an another 0.13 to it? What's the point in holding? So people wouldn't call it straight-out a scam? 1. They will, anyway. 2. You could have gotten more out of it. It's just stupid to leave it. Maybe they are stupid and missed their chance to sell the premine at top price but if they had moved it on Friday they wouldn't have had people buying and sending them coins on saturday. Also keeping it there now is giving you a sliver of hope right? That's reason enough to keep it there I would think. |

If i recall correctly it was Ucoin, https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=855541.180 declaring its main feature as something that "CAN BE REVEALED AFTER IPO ENDING". Dev revealed its feature at Nov, 18, after 6 (!) days of the original post - a game for iOS, an "innovative" shit, called Usnake.
Ucoin ICO raised around 1.5 btc - about 19+ btc from the total presale cap of 21+btc were unsold. Each time when Ucoin dev appeared in c-cex chat and made a promotional claims / tried to engage people in investing, he got ignored. Each fucking time. That was the last and most dumbest c-cex IPO.
Now, comes the AliPaycoin, whose announcement page DOESN'T contain ANY intelligible sentence, ANY reasonable statement, ANY feature or offering, ANY explanation, outline, resume and abstract. It literally consists of 4 different pictures:
1. Poster with coin's name,
2. Map with a dotted lines under an enigmatic phrase: "spot-to-spot agreement",
3. Promotional picture of mobile/portable platforms with coin's logo.
4. Picture used as a header for subsections (it repeats 5 fold).
And this coin sells out in 24 hours. 
Wtf? What dumbass should be the one who thinks this ^^^ ICO was legally sold out? What complete idiot bought 30 btc worth of crap? .
Dev has made an obvious self-bought, and its predictably clear that before long he will be placing bids above the ICO price - probably in small chunks, to get rid off the coins and get back his money.

I was able to sync after I downloaded the block chain again.
Current number of blocks in the wallet is showing 18845.
Seems like after I finally got back in sync, I lost about 650 coins.
So there is a fork... now we need the dev to confirm if we are on the right side of the fork.
Dev did aknowledge the fork. We are going with the chain that suprnova and c-cex are on. so if you go to the suprnova pool page @ https://ucoin.suprnova.cc/index.php?page=statistics&action=pool In the bottom left stats area find the current block. Your wallet should match that. What to do if does not match? If it doesn't match you need to delete the chain you have downloaded and resync with the network. Make sure to backup your wallet. Then if all uses of network resynch chain everything returns to normal? Then why dev not tell the whole resync chain? I'm having trouble understanding your question but would like to help you. Could you try asking it a little more clearly? You jut need to get the correct chain downloaded and then your wallet will be working on the same chain as the exchange and rest of the wallets If all users resynch chain, then the problem with fork will be solved? Then, why dev not announce that it is necessary resynch chain? Yes that will solve the problem. It would have been nice if the dev team had given more specific directions to people who were not sure what to do. I think he might have assumed people have a better understanding of what to do in the situation than they actually do. It is all working well. |
