Has anyone else noticed the following months on the vertical time lines listed below??? I will take this down within an hour or two and leave only the link to respect the thread. Most here seem to want EW. What I do is kind of similar but I call it Loaded Gun. Ignore the guns and just focus on the Time Lines.
Every Blue Vertical Time Line marks every January and June in which BTC was dumped.
Every Purple Vertical Time Line marks every May and/or September in Which Springs and or Up Thrust begin.

This weekend I set up a few S7s and found 3 of them with the same symptoms. Each of them starting to mine but the red led is flashing on their controllers. And after about 1.5 minutes the hashrate is falling gradually to zero.
In web-interface I see that S7s are rotating only one fan of two connected and it seems that they are able to detect the rotation of the second fan (it rotates due to airflow of the "working" fan). I tried to change the fans, to connect the fans to different connectorson S7's I/O board without any effect. On one of these S7s I flashed latest available suitable firmware - also wothout any effect.
Has anyone encountered this problem? Is there any way to fix it?
I had 6 x S7's out of 34 do this. That's one reason of several WHY I stopped buying shit from Bitmain. 30 days warranty just isn't cutting it. If they can take advantage, they do so. EDIT: So, I sold all my shit back in February last year and began GPU mining. |

Hi !
Usually 15 Min as padawan stated already, but make sure your mailbox allows those mails, they often falsely get into spam folders.
Also make sure you're using the worker not on another suprnova pool as those mails are global i.e. if you're mining ZEC at zec.suprnova.cc and have yourworker.1 running there but are using another physical machine under the same workername on xmr.suprnova.cc you will NOT get notifications as the system thinks the worker was just switched to another pool.

Default for IDLE worker is 15MN. check in your notification menu also that you checked IDLE WORKER. And that monitor box is checked for every of your workers. Use the API to make your own monitoring too, That's what i do  Sometimes you get false positives (receiving idle mails when your workers are running normally) i checked this behaviour with reccurent API query, so i let email alert but i rely more on the API for monitoring. Thumbs Up! I did not have monitor checked on any of my workers. Didn't realize I needed to. Thx man. Appreciate it. |

This is such a good thread which is showing how early adopters will probably get robbed of most of their coins by the Composite Men (aka whales here). Looking at OP I supposed sandiman was talking about the recent activity: I got astonished when I realized he basically predicted the course of action we've seen recently. Well done  Yes, Sandman did an excellent job providing a couple of examples of moves C.M. makes over the course of time. There are also many trades one can make in the shorter time frames while the long time frame [Wyckoff refers to] plays out. It can still kind of get nerve racking at times if one sits in front of the monitor all day watching it play out. For instance, one may see a drop during the 4h chart that frightens them. They get emotional and begin to question their analysis. This is part of being new to trading. One has to always remain calm. But most importantly, have a plan (A, B & C) if A, B or C were to occur. It also helps to know and understand other indicators. Such as RSI and MACD for example. Look at them both in the Weekly, Daily, 12h, 8h, 4h and 2h. I want to have an idea of where momentum, strength and volume are heading in the long, mid and short terms to also give an idea of what trades can be made while the Wyckoff cycles play out. Especially, those cycles at the end of a long bear trend that end with a Selling Climax. Look at Decred (DCRBTC) on POLO. Just occurred. I actually have 12 coins I'm watching at the moment. All of which are in some part of a cycle towards a spring. Not all will spring but most of them probably will.  And AUGUR (REPBTC)  And STEEM (STEEMBTC) just to name a few.  |

How long does a rig have to be idle before I get a notification?
Today, I've logged on to my Dashboard to find only 31 rigs instead of 32 mining. However, on my Awesome Miner Dashboard, it says 32 rigs are mining. The first time I identified the one the pool said was off line and simply rebooted it and it showed back up again on the pool.
About two minutes later it said 31 instead of 32 rigs again. I identified that one and rebooted then it shows up on the pool again.
I logged out for about an hour and came back only to find the same thing once again. But this time it pops up as 32 rigs while I was in the process of identifying the rig that was "supposedly down."
Is there any kind of explanation for this? I have notifications set up in my Dashboard for an idol worker. However, I don't think I've ever received a notification for idol worker. How long does a worker have to be idol to get a notification, Sir? Can we please have an option to set it for at least 5 minutes or less, Sir? This concerns me. I don't know if this is just a coincidence for me to log on at the time I'm seeing this occur. I'm wondering if it's windows doing a update on different rigs. I'm just not sure...
In any case, it would be nice to have the option to set the amount of time to pass for a notification if a worker is idle, please sir.

I haven't sold any in a long time. I think I may sell a few if we can get back to around $1100. Will buy back more if we get into $800s
This. Why the next pump will fall short. All the peoples that feel they missed out on the last peak will dump as soon as they can. Been holding for a pretty decent amount of time. I hate selling coins but may need to pull some of my initial investment. Plus generally when I have sold in the past the price has gone up further each time lol. I'm not looking to dump, I'm in this for the long haul Sorry, wasn't trying to single you out. Just noting the general past patterns in December of 2013. Being a hodler for years now, I love not caring what the price is right now.
I have two touch points that I will sorta care about what the price will be:
1/1/2018 (my prediction: $1400-1600)
and
6/30/2020 (my prediction: $4k-5k)
These are conservative estimates of course, but barring any black swan event, will still will out-perform any other investment vehicle out there.
