741  Other / Off-topic / Re: Bitcoin and Porn on: October 11, 2015, 01:50:24 PM
What? Bitcoin is perfect for porn sites because of its anonymity. If porn sites started ripping you off then they wouldn't survive for long with such a bad rep. News would quickly spread that people wernt getting what they paid for. Most sites will probably use a bitcoin payment processor too.

How will they verify your age if they adopt bitcoin as the payment system? Most legitimate sites out there won't let you get access to their stuffs without verifying that part to prevent getting their licence getting banned! Wink

BTW, why do you worry about paying through credit card?  They won't disclose your personal information Smiley
742  Other / Off-topic / Re: Bitcoin and Porn on: October 11, 2015, 11:20:13 AM
In my opinion, Bitcoin and Porn won't match each other due to the former's anonymity. Yes! Except legit and trustworthy sites like, Brazzers, Naughty America, etc. most other sites will turn out to be scammers and "ad-whores" since you can't claim anywhere that you bought an account there Wink

On the contrary, it would be really helpful if the well-known sites start accepting BTC. But then again they won't do that, since there lies no proof that a 15 year old child is buying an account! That's why credit cards are a must for legitimate sites!

Accepting porn-related altcoins like: titcoin, sexcoin, etc. would have been nice but those coins should never be made anonymous for the above mentioned vulnerability!

And if you are really interested in watching free, moderate quality porn vids, then you already know where to look out for Wink
743  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN]~GenesysCoin~1st in Wallet Web Based Games [~Join our MPZone Beta Testing~] on: October 11, 2015, 04:31:16 AM
I doubt a smartphone would be able to handle the games since they are quite GPU intensive, but I agree that a plain wallet without games would be nice for Android. Also, I don't see anything wrong with Mega links.

I'm talking about android games like Modern Warefare 4, Nova 3 etc. They are easily supported I guess Wink Moreover it would be best for players on the go and who spend most of the time outside his residence!

Whenever I click on the windows' wallet mega link, I was shown a blank page without actually downloading anything Huh I'm using the latest version of Google Chrome. Is there something wrong or do I need any Chrome plugins for mega downloads ? (I'm pretty new to mega that's why)

OP, please update the download links! And refrain from using Mega links (use dropbox instead). Moreover, will there be an android version of the wallet with games? Or simply an android wallet would be nice! Smiley
745  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][GRT] Grantcoin: Proof-of-Participation Grants for Sustainable Business on: October 11, 2015, 03:14:34 AM
What is the current block reward of this cryptocurrency? BTW, is there a similarity between POW and Proof-of-Participation? I noticed the algorithm at supernova.cc and it is mentioned SHA-256d. So, is it mineable with my spare Antminer S3+ ?
746  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: New found block announcer on: October 10, 2015, 05:12:36 AM

747  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: [ANN] NiceHash.com - sell & buy hash rate cloud mining service / multipool on: October 09, 2015, 08:16:51 AM
Thanks Nicehash! BTW, I'm quoting it here for easy reference Smiley

Quote
What is the minimum amount of coins needed to accumulate before payout to my wallet ? Or, are the payouts carried out everyday irrespective of how much coins I earn through my rig ? For example, I need to accumulate minimum upto 0.001BTC on Antpool before I qualify for their daily auto payout. Does Nicehash work in a similar way?

Quote
Sellers are paid on PPS system. Payments (payouts) are issued four times a day if your unpaid balance is greater than 0.04 BTC. Every fourth payment (once per day) is issued if balance is greater than 0.004 BTC. We will do payments for balances greater than 0.0001 BTC once every week. All balances from all algorithms are aggregated into a single payment.

Recently I'm not receiving any notifications regarding new replies to my posts on my email address. Neither I'm receiving any PM notifications ! Is there something wrong with the forum or have I done something wrong? Is anyone else facing the same problem? Huh

Op, this is the best idea and it must get implemented soon Smiley
BTW, in my opinion,  it would be best if you add the bitcoin price announcer alongwith the block announcer. This would help the active traders to become aware of the current bitcoin price, live on his dashboard so that no one will have to waste his time on exchange sites rather than missing his trade opportunities!

Also users will be able to set a sound notification which will alarm him as soon as the price increases or decreases accordingly.
BTW, all the best for your work Smiley
751  Bitcoin / Development & Technical Discussion / Re: Vanitygen: Vanity bitcoin address generator/miner [v0.22] on: October 08, 2015, 04:01:35 PM
Thanks shorena and Timelord2067 for taking time on finding the addresses for me Cheesy

Donation goes along your way Wink
752  Bitcoin / Development & Technical Discussion / Re: Vanitygen: Vanity bitcoin address generator/miner [v0.22] on: October 07, 2015, 03:24:02 PM
Can't do the second one.

Sorry I didn't double check the second one!

I can get it down to about two - three days if I search for 1SPALBTC 1SpaLBTC 1spaLBTC 1spaLbtc etc...

Try this one => 1SPALBTC. It looks cool Smiley But, will it still take 8hrs to get 50% at 18Mkeys/s?
Then what about 1SpaLBTC?

IIRC we talked about 6 symbols, but I will give it a try for a few hours. Same as Timelord2067 I see no problems with finding a case insensitive address though.

Can you try out 1Sammy or 1Soumya or 1SP1996 ? If possible, here are some more public keys for you Smiley (I prefer to have the second one though)

Code:

I get an invalid base key error when I tried to add either the -o or -k switch after I stopped the work at the 50.1% mark (about 8.5 hours at about 19MKeys/s over two cards) using the code below before and since restart

EB48B127A5B005F0BD416064A1CD8BC6DA875C3D44 1SPaLBTC

Nine hours down, ? to go after re-start.  Will keep you posted.

with the above -i switch

Maybe by using the -k option, oclvanitygen is unable to perform multiple matches for each pattern! Try out reversing the positions of -i and -k in your command. Any recent updates on that ?

BTW, thanks a ton everyone for your efforts Cheesy

P.S. Everyone, please PM me the generated part of your private keys for privacy reasons.

754  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / SyriaRelief.org is a SCAM! DO NOT HELP!! on: October 04, 2015, 10:25:52 AM
It's better to beg at http://outrageousrequests.com when you can't afford to provide some valid proofs of where the donated money goes finally. A legit organisation doesn't emerge all of a sudden asking random people for money. They first initiate a crowdfunding programme within their communities and if they succeed, they try to reach out for the entire world. Moreover looking at your site's footer area, everyone will initially presume that your organisation is featured on Guardian, CNN, Oxford Film Festival etc... but there's no link to any of their articles.. only logos! Wink

A clear indication of fake organisation !!

Conclusion: You're never gonna get donations here. Better head on to that site I mentioned above if you're already here intending to beg some money out from the forum members indirectly.
755  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Are you holding your bitcoin for a price increase? on: October 04, 2015, 09:49:48 AM

The problem is, there aren't much bitcoin-accepting businesses available in the market right now, so I doubt that you can used bitcoins that much in transactions. Because of this, bitcoin tend to be used as an investment vehicle rather than a currency as it was intended to be.

You're quite right but I guess you'll be overwhelmed by this listing which is growing up quite lately Wink Still I would recommend hoarding your coins and at the same time, making more people aware about the boon of cryptocurrencies so that the resulting large scale involvement will incist more merchants to start accepting coins Smiley

758  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: do you play loteries ,did you won something on: October 03, 2015, 06:42:43 PM
To me, playing a lottery is like getting a free ride to the Moon  Grin
A couple of years ago, I used to buy bundles of lottery tickets and get very few or no bounties at all! Lottery has a very high house edge and so it's highly unlikely to get even smaller payouts everytime !!
759  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Are you holding your bitcoin for a price increase? on: October 03, 2015, 06:09:31 PM

Bitcoin will surely hit $1 million/coin due to inflation. Roll Eyes What's important is 1 bitcoin = 1 bitcoin, though I'm pretty sure it wouldn't be the mindset until we haven't see merchants and people alike using bitcoins for everyday use.

True! Merchants need to ease out with its type of payment processing Wink And when trust and credibility conquers their faith o meter nothing can stop Bitcoin's price rise! Also hoarding is an important factor since the coins are limited and by hoarding you are potentially creating a demand in the market, which may eventually lead to the price hike again Wink
760  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: [ANNOUNCE] Bitcoin Fog: Secure Bitcoin Anonymization on: October 03, 2015, 06:00:07 PM
OP was last active on November 14, 2014, 11:08:49 PM and so it's pretty much self-explanatory. There are so many legit bitcoin tumblers out there like bitmixture.io
So it's foolish to rely on a service where the owner has gone AWOL ! Wink
