Hello,
I'm experiencing a problem. I've requested several times a payout for PXC in my account but the request is not performed and it is still in pending status from 3 days.
How many coins are you trying to withdraw? If it's over 2500 or so it probably can't create the transaction, I had this problem with someone else. I will manually send you the coins.

Adam, Can you update your new Pool Stats page to look like that (combining two tables into one by coin) What do you think guys? I had a different layout in mind. Stay tuned...
|
|
|
you should probably update that.
|
|
|
Is the payout threshold functionality down? Hasn't paid out in awhile and at threshold.
Thanks
No it's not down. What coin?
|
|
|
Several thousand DGC blocks are being scored now.. Payouts may take an hour or more.

The full set of coins that were previously in the header tables are now viewable at https://www.multipool.us/stats.php. I will be making improvements to this page but I wanted to get it published so people can see that information again. You can get to the individual coin stats pages by clicking on the coins in the selector at the top of the page.

Wonder since this has happened before, if multipool should have a check if the coin being mined is showing more than twice as profitable as the next most profitable coin don't mine it.
Why would we do that? To stop people from wasting their time and electricity mining nothing. A lot of the time if some coin is showing a large profitability like now, over any other coin, something bad is going on. That's not true at all. A high profitability does not indicate that something is wrong. Several of our coins routinely go over 1200-1500% profitability for short periods.

Ah, I see what happened. I had compiled the new version on the hot wallet server but I had not actually brought it up yet. Blocks from last night are coming in now and should be paid out soon. We were on DGC for quite a while but coinchoose is still showing it at around 600% profitability so profits should not be too badly impacted.
Thank you The multipool multi-wallet architecture pays off for the first time!

Please don't spam your pool in my thread. Thanks.

Multipool has been mining an invalid DGC chain for 8hrs+ Get your miners off there... you are currently mining nothing!
They have had 1 month to update their client and they haven't done it yet.
This isn't true actually. The mining wallets are on the right chain and our hot wallet is up to date. I'm not sure why the hot wallet is stuck but I'm currently investigating.

4. I am considering adding a "conservative" multiport that will only switch between NVC, LTC, FTC, MNC and possibly CGB. Would like to hear opinions on this.
This sounds interesting, but what might be interesting is to see some of the other riskier, but more profitable altcoins get added to a superset pool (like NRB, DMD, BTB, STR, ANC, etc). That way you have 3 varieties to choose from. Most of the 'more profitable' coins are only more profitable because their difficulty is below 0.5, making them undesirable targets for mining by Multipool. They'd be like LKY or ARG, only profitable for a couple minutes and then we'd switch to something else. ANC I think will be a good add. CAP, CGB and MEC all have single-block difficulty adjustments and the pool spends quite a bit of time on those. While CAP, CGB and MEC have single block difficulty adjustment, the adjustment itself is limited to only couple of % based on the time it took the network to find a block. ANC on the other hand has wild swings where every adjusment is 29% of the previous difficulty and those adjustments have nothing to do with network speed like they are for CAP, CGB and MEC Hmm ok, thanks for the info. If the adjustments don't have anything to do with the network speed what are they based on?

been disconnected from pool 1 and 2 US for a half hour now...
pool2.us doesn't exist anymore. (DNS is just a CNAME to pool1) What error are you getting? just started back up. It does look like we were either getting SYN flooded earlier or there were so many reconnect attempts that the server port sent out syn cookies. I increased some kernel parameters on the pool servers and thing seem to have settled.

pool been back up for half hour maybe now. thank you.
regarding sha256 multipool. i want to use it, but not for BTC, only altcoins. BTC difficulty is so high, my gpu's dont matter. However, i can still use them on other sha256 altcoins. besides eligius.st is 0% fee, another reason, not to have BTC in the multipool. would you consider only altcoins for multipool?
I'm going to leave it in for a couple weeks to see if we reach critical mass, which would be around 3TH at current difficulty. We have been over 1 TH on TRC recently and I have been contacted by many people who said they were waiting for the SHA256 multiport in order to point their ASICs at the pool. At 3TH we'd find a BTC block every 2-3 days. Tell your friends!

Flound. Not a fan of the new "top 5" format. If you dedicate mine a coin like I do, if it's not in the top 5 you can't see if it's doing Ok or if it's tanking....
I'm preparing a new summary page that has all the coins in sortable tables.

DOS today or low resources? having slow connection/refresh issues with website and timeouts on pools.
consider killing getwork protocol?
something is wrong with multipass(pool) today There were some db hiccups earlier, not sure the cause (DoS or what) but everything seems OK now. Is anyone still seeing issues?
