744  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Difference between Bitcoin and real money? on: April 16, 2017, 12:39:10 PM
Bitcoin - lower fees, you have your own bank, transactions is easier and faster, identity of the owner is anonymous, volatile value
Fiat - higher fees, you need some company to put your money on, transactions takes some time and requires some verification if you are owning a large amount, stable value

Yes and in fiat you cannot huge amount of money with you physically as there is always a chance of money getting stolen or getting robbed but with bitcoins you can carry any amount in your bitcoin wallet and no one would be aware about it.
Looks like you forgot to add that anyone with access to your private key is the actual owner of the coins, so cases of theft are not alien here nor something exclusive to fiat currencies. One more thing, lower fees is now, used to be with Bitcoin as these days we are daunted with increasing cost for carrying out transactions in the Bitcoin ecosystem and this a real cause for concern for most bitcoiners.

I think that is true, when other people have your private key, they can send or manage you bitclins inside that bitckin wallet. But this will only happen if you are kind enough to give your private keys to other people. Never do that , keep that safe. About the fees, it is really a pain in the ass. But we all know that the developers are having a solution for that. We better wait on what will happen in the future.
745  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Earthquake hits Manila on: April 16, 2017, 10:49:32 AM
I'm also from the Philippines. I was in Pasay when it happened, and you can really feel it. Let's just pray that none of the earthquake gets worst. Keep safe guys! x hugs

Philippines sits close to the Pacific ring of fire, so there is always the probability of a major earthquake striking the country. Perhaps the government should put more emphasis on making sure that the building codes are followed.

That is really true, the fact that it has many volcanoes and plates that mobes makes the Philippines one of these country. I guess the Government needs to be more alert especially the residents of each country close to a plate. I am also feom the Philippines and I felt these earthquake, many people are getting scared of what may happen.
746  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What is the best source of bitcoin nowadays? on: April 16, 2017, 08:39:13 AM

This now seems a lot of gambling that use bitcoin as a means of payment, the proof many new gambling sites that use bitcoin now emerging

I don't get what you talking about, the OP is asking what is the best source of bitcoin nowadays, not bitcoin as used as a means of payment. But it is really popular to gamblers because you can use it online and many gambling sites or casinos are accepting them, making it more used in gambling and the source of them is through buying bitcoin.
747  Economy / Economics / Re: Is USD being used for illegal activities? on: April 16, 2017, 07:12:05 AM
Yup anyone can use bitcoin and other cryptocurrency as for illigal uses, and nowdays terrorist are also very highly qualified in technically ways so its possible that they are using vryptocurrency for illegal activities.

Yup, anyone can use bitcoin and many other cryptocurrency for illgel purposes, that is a given, but the OP is asking about USD (United States Dollars) being used in illegal activities and not about the digital currency. USD is a global currency and it is, no excuse, obviously is used in illegal activities. As a currency used by the whole world, there are no reason to say that USD is not used in these activities.
748  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin's price is so volatile right now! Why should I even hold? on: April 16, 2017, 03:48:28 AM
I think it's volatility that makes bitcoin bitcoin. And I guess that is the reason that it is really fun investing in such digital currency. Without these volatility, I think bitcoin is really boring, yes it is stable, but there is no fun in it.
749  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Daily use of bitcoin? on: April 15, 2017, 10:49:56 PM
Mostly i use bitcoin when i need money to withdraw i send to my digital wallet called webmoney and after that transfer to my bank. On my country right now, not too much services accepting bitcoin even if they are they take 30-40% more then a normal price. Still we don't find a way to confirm transactions faster, that's the biggest problem why we can't use it everwhere
yes in my are we also do not have the facility to use bitcoin directly for shopping, but we can easily convert our bitcoin into our local fiat currency and then can use it for fulfilling our needs.

In the Philippines,  there are no Bitcoin ATMs to withdraw bitcoin unlike other country. But the good thing is, bitcoin are now acknowledged by the banks and now they are accepting bitcoin which is really great. Though there are still few stores that accept them, maybe because of the volatility of bitcoin or they just don't know it yet.Good thing there are wallet that we can convert our bitcoins easily and withdraw it on money pick ups or on bank.
750  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Reasons of why bitcoin accepting shopping sites are not famous on: April 15, 2017, 10:04:13 PM
Maybe they can't afford to have that campaignnthat is why they are staying stagnant as they are right now. If they are not that popular, means maybe their items are not that popular to bitcoin users or their services are not that good. Because if that is really a good site, then there may be a lot of costumers there making a proof here or suggesting those sites.
751  Local / Pamilihan / Re: Patulong naman ayusin to... on: April 15, 2017, 09:37:28 PM

752  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What if all nations of the world started to use bitcoin on: April 15, 2017, 08:52:12 PM
if all the nations used bitcoin with our current system, I think we will be doomed, there will be a lot of unconfirmed transactions, many users will be dissapointed, and many users will eventually convert to altcoins that is better than the transaction of bitcoin. We need bigger blocks and quick confirmations. Maybe it will happen if a fork will be implemented, I mean after a fork is. Maybe a soft one, but not a hard one.
753  Other / Archival / Re: Do you agree with idea "Bitcoin bank" ? on: April 15, 2017, 08:00:04 PM
I don't like having a bitcoin bank, I love the way bitcoin as a decentralized digital currency, making a bitcoin bank means that it will be be centralized digital currency controllable by some group oe the government tapping on our accounts making our privacy their entertainment in their leisure. I good on how bitcoin is kept on our wallets and for me, is the reason why Satoshi Nakmoto made the currency, to manage ourown money.
754  Local / Pamilihan / Re: Shipping Item from USA to PH on: April 15, 2017, 07:38:49 PM

756  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How to make governments accept bitcoin? on: April 15, 2017, 06:31:22 PM
I think anonymity is the reason why people love to ise bitcoin. No government will sue you if you have a lot of bitcoin for money laundering, they will not know who you are, or their wallets owners. Anonymiyis the reason why people use bitcoin freely, but that is also one of the reason why they can't accept bitcoin, one is it can be used in illegal activities. That is given with the anonymity of bitcoin, it is really the right coin for doing so. I think because of the decentralization too.
757  Economy / Economics / Re: Does the Price of Bitcoin Matter? on: April 15, 2017, 01:06:21 PM
For me the price of bitcoin is of great importance. I invest in bitcoin. And I always watch to buy bitcoin at a time when the price goes down. And you can sell at a time when the price goes up

Bitcoin price is really very important especially to investors and traders which, they earn based on how the price pumps or increases. As a user, and also an investor, I really want to make a investment that will give me money, and one of the great assets now are digital currency like bitcoin. There are a lot of other but they are just called attcoins.  I think without these altcoin, bitcoin's nothing to compare to, especially virtually.
758  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What to do with the people who don't like Bitcoin? on: April 15, 2017, 07:46:27 AM
You try and feel, I tried and very excited with it.

I don't get what you are saying. Ithink you are saying about trying to use bitcoin and they will based their experience to use bitcoin or not. I guess they really need to try first bitcoin because they might just don't like bitcoin just by the statement of the guys that has bad experiences. You can prove these guys that it is really legit and very efficient.

760  Economy / Speculation / Re: Take profits now! on: April 14, 2017, 11:40:28 PM
No why would you even want to sell your bitcoins now after japan adopted it and now many more people are been introduced to bitcoin. Plus we don't see any huge dump or pump in the coin lately. Reconsider your decision.

Yes, that is the point, why would I sell my bitcoins if there are a lot of reasons to consider. Japan accpeted bitcoin that means users will be adding up, they will try bitcoin and once it is liked by them they will be using it, it will gradually affect the price. And bitcoin always do some slight down movement every time and there nothing new about that.
