Im tired of arguing. As I mentioned, it both PDs and Spixels fault. Stunna, please fix this error.

What does he have to fix?

It is pd fault to have errors . BUT ITS NOT PDs FAULT THAT U LOST THAT BET! I am done arguing Cheesy .
LMAO !

This is my thinking too.

Guys its both PD's fault and Spixels fault. Its PD's fault for tech issues, and Spixels fault for betting in the first place (the house always wins)

Thats life.

I don't think it was PD fault that he lost the bet though. If I'm betting and then site goes down, but I lose my first bet when the site comes back up I can't then blame the site for my loss.

I really don't think I lost this bet fairly. The client seed was forced to be changed because of a technical error. I did not realise this happened because of a page reset at the time of betting.

You wouldn't be complaining if you won. You might've lost if no error happened as well.

That's not the point, the point is there was a technical error at pd which caused the client seed to be changed. I lost only 12 bets later and had based my bet on previous rolls on the old seed.

U based ur bets on previous rolls. Google gamblers fallacy coz that is what that is.
And like i said ur seed doesn't remember ur previous rolls even if it stays the same.

I will wait for support to reply because there was a technical error at PD. My betting strategy is irrelevant.
So question. If that client seed had won with the technical earlier causing the client seed to be changed, would primedice have a right to say "Uh the error caused you to win thus were taking back your bet"? No. And you don't have a leg to stand on either.

No, because is was their error.

If you want, I'll offer you a 1:1 wager that primedice does not return your BTC from that bet to you. Choose an escrow if interested. Up to 1 BTC bet.

But there's possibility you might have lost too. It's probably your responsibility to check things are as they were before you make the bet. I don't think you're gonna get your money back here.

I don't want to argue but I really don't see how this is fair. There's nothing for me to have checked. I guess some people just like to argue against the 'sore loser'

Primedice's error most likely resulted in me losing over $500 worth of btc.

I'm hoping for the best anyway, I appreciate your input but would you think the same if it happened to you?

But that's what it seems like. I have sympathy for your loss, but that's the gamble. What's the difference between accidentally making a bet or pressing the wrong button? You win some you lose some.

766  Economy / Services / Re: [PrimeDice] [Highest Paid Signature] Earn up to 2.4 BTC/Month by Posting on: March 23, 2014, 06:27:57 PM
Loyalty program means he would probably drop per post rate, but intoduce a multiplier for each month you are with PD. Don't get all your hopes up too high, cos PD should be targeting those senior and hero members who have left, not necessarily standard and full memebrs who are sticking with PD.

I am just analysing from a business point of view. It will be interesting to see how it will play out  Smiley

I think he will reward non sr and hero members for sticking with PD, as competition currently pays out much higher.
Then he might aswell just increase rates? People wont swap back anyways as they already changed, and if he highers the payout for -some- people, he doesn't earn new signups anyway.

There will always be a higher paid campaign out there. With a loyalty multiplier, Stunna do not need to match those higher rates and still can retain members, cos it discourages members switching to other higher paid short term campaigns. The was no "cost" before, now you loose the loyalty bonus.

Regarding whether Stunna wishes to attract those sr/hero members who swapped out before, i really don't know. Only Stunna has the stats for the number of sr/hero members and their payouts. I would guess their aggregate payout is high. That is why Stunna cannot raise sr/hero rate too much, but undeniably their sigs are the most effective.
Now now, nobody has confirmed what exactly the loyalty bonus will be, so it's too early to make up conclusions. We'll just have to wait and see how it pans out.

I agree. Not much point speculating with such little info. The "loyalty bonus" might just be a one off thing based on who Stunna feels has stayed the longest or who he has observed not jumping deals.

768  Other / Meta / Re: how does activity actually work? on: March 23, 2014, 05:11:02 PM

You get maximum +14 activity per two weeks.
If you will post 14 posts you will get 14+
If you will post like 1 post you will get 1+.
If you will post 293789283post you will get +14 too Smiley

But if during those two weeks you will post 0 posts you will get a -1activity.

Easy Smiley

You don't get minus activity. You just don't get any activity.

@DannyHamilton Thank you for the heads up. I was not aware of Trendon Shavers. I would like to know if Ponzi, Pyramid or MLM laws are applicable to Bitcoin ? I have no plan to accept any FIAT in the whole program.

That depends on what jurisdiction you are in.

If you are in the U.S. then those laws are absolutely applicable to Bitcoin.  Trendon Shavers is currently being prosecuted by the U.S. in a court in Texas for operating a Ponzi scheme that did not accept any FIAT (he only accepted Bitcoin) in the whole program.

Would they prosecute if somebody operated a ponzi or pyramid with Pogs or Pokemon cards? lol

People have still been signing up to this deal, but I think people will swap back if Stunna matches other deals.

Trendon Shavers (also known as Pirate40 on bitcointalk) is currently being prosecuted in Texas by the U.S. government for operating a bitcoin Ponzi Scheme.

According to U.S. law, your scheme is not a MLM (Multi-level marketing) organization or Direct Selling organization.  In order to be considered a legal business (such as Amway, Tupperware, etc) in the U.S. you need to have actual products that are being sold to customers.  There are a set of other specific conditions that the company has to meet to be considered a legal business in the U.S.

Doesn't Herbalife operate like them too?

So does the US recognize it as a currency now?
772  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Huobi faking market depth with proof! on: March 23, 2014, 03:36:04 PM
I have used Huobi for a few months and everything has been very good. Timely deposits and withdrawals, and customer service has been very helpful when needed. They seem very professional.

That still doesn't mean they haven't been faking the data though.
773  Economy / Services / Re: ★★★ HIGHEST SIGNATURE PAYMENT ON THE BOARD - THE BIG SWITCH IS ON ★★★ on: March 23, 2014, 03:34:02 PM
Hey Ritz , can you tell me how many posts I've made in March so far and how far am I from 50 posts ?

  you started at 331

So that means you have made 76 posts now.
Why didn't he just check his own entry thread and do the math himself? Some people are a special kind of lazy. Cheesy

Can someone check my posts and let me know how many I've made? lol

I'm asking again couse didnt get an answer.

Am I in?
Here is my post: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=499007.msg5820131#msg5820131

He said:

everyone above that applied and meet our terms is in

So I guess that means you're in.

You can't. Best just to abandon it.
775  Other / Meta / Re: how does activity actually work? on: March 23, 2014, 02:39:06 PM
You get another 14 every two weeks.

"How does search actually work"
oh no 14 every two weeks  Cool
I actually searched but i keep getting bitcoin results and because of my 90sec search limit it was even worse

You didn't even need to search.. a quick glance on the first page of meta and you would've seen it lol.
776  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: Bitcoin Idea - My next step on: March 23, 2014, 02:36:07 PM
That is called a pyramid scheme.

Well may be. But is that legal if I use it for Bitcoin service ? I have seen direct selling companies like Tupperware, Amway etc. use this method to gain members and thereby sell their product.

I think someone was actually busted for selling a Bitcoin ponzi or pyramid.
Depends on the country

For Bitcoin or ponzis? Or maybe even both?
777  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Great...Bitcoins for $30 on: March 23, 2014, 02:33:07 PM
Where is the confusion ?

One is a drug.

The other is a digital currency.

Just pill sellers using the latest buzz words to sell their wares.

My thoughts exactly, but if the media picks up on this I'm sure they'll make a story out of it.
778  Economy / Gambling / Re: www.100bit.co.in - A Gambling project based on BlockChain info on: March 23, 2014, 02:13:24 PM
This is very strange! People go frenzy on ponzis but they are afraid of a fair game!

lol. People go nuts for ponzis because they think it's easy money. They don't care when greed takes over.

780  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Interest in Bitcoin ATMs on: March 23, 2014, 02:05:56 PM
I am looking at developing a new Bitcoin ATM. I wanted to get the opinion of Bitcoin Talk users. Is there a demand for physical bitcoin ATMs out there?

Of course there's demand, but why would you need to design one when there are several other companies already making them?
