761  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Loans = Reputation | Thoughts? on: August 01, 2017, 07:07:58 PM
The only thing that will earn you either repect or positive trust is abandoning this account and starting over fresh with a new one--provided you change your ways.  But my guess is that you own multiple accounts already, since you were caught dealing in them last year.

Why should i abandon my account and start with a new one? I haven't done any crime. Ofcourse i had other accounts before because i wasn't aware that there are people in the forum who doesn't like that because according to the rules it is really not prohibited to have more than one account. And when i came to know that having multiple accounts is not liked by some people, i stopped using them. My account is all clean except for that one mistake which i have done in past which is not really a that big thing i guess.

Just asking this question is usually enough to earn you some red.  You should lock the topic and take a morality shower.

I don't think someone would flag me red just because i have asked a question. The forum is all about getting knowledge from each other and that is what i have tried to do. I didn't start any service like that, nor i will do after hearing all this from the community, but i just wanted to know if what people think about this, which to a far extent i have known already.

I have updated the OP, making the topic to be just a formal discussion but not a personal or hidden agenda. Referring myself in OP has made my question totally non-understandable to many people, so i have just made it a question without referring anyone doing anything like that.
762  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Loans = Reputation | Thoughts? on: August 01, 2017, 04:25:16 PM
Thank you all guys for sharing your thoughts, and i really respect your opinions, but i guess most of you guys have misunderstood my concept of saying "Trust" or "Reputation". By getting trust or reputation i did not mean positive feedback or trust rating, but i simply was asking if will that earn me some respect (in OP i used reputation for this) from the trusted or good members of this forum or not. I ofcourse know it is stupidity to do something like this for getting a positive feedback from a member or to get some trust ratings for your account, and i would never do something like that. I just want to be trusted, i don't really need any positive feedbacks for my profile nor i will ask someone for that which would be begging for it.
I thought, for example, if i give a loan to someone who is a good, old, regular member of this forum when he is in need, then atleast he would have that in mind that i gave him a loan once when he spots me somewhere in the forum, and i just want to have that, but not any "Positive feedback" or "Trust rating".
I hope you guys understand what i'm trying to say.
763  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How to spot a gambler addicted? on: August 01, 2017, 11:25:27 AM
No one could really help you to get out on addiction but it would mostly start from ourselves same as you said but there are instances on which you would need a hand if you cant really do it for yourself.Seeking for others help isnt bad at all as long you are really sensible or serious to quit such addiction and as being mentioned on op if you do experience loss better to take a break and calm down before you would able to do wrong move even more.

You know, when a person gets addicted of gambling, he doesn't or maybe he cannot see anything happening to him. Though for a while he may think about what he has lost and he shouldn't do it again, but after some time he would start thinking again about gambling back and recovering the money he has just lost, and that is where the person screws himself.
764  Economy / Trading Discussion / Bitcoin Loans = Reputation | Thoughts? on: August 01, 2017, 11:05:19 AM
Are Bitcoin loans a good way to earn some reputation in the community?
765  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Need a little trading suggestion, please on: August 01, 2017, 10:53:28 AM
While I have followed crypto currency for a few years now, I am very new to trading (hardly two weeks). I use CEX - its the only decent platform that accepts credit card payments - and made a quick buck earlier today when BTC/USD rates hit 2900 just to get the butterflies off.

Would it be sensible to hold on to the cash or take a dip instead (BTC/ETH)?

Congratulations for getting some early profit out of trading, it doesn't really happen with every new trader.
Actually, if i were you, i would hold on my cash for now, and i would start trading altcoins after a few days when all this fork thing gets finished and everything starts working normally again. Though i don't have much knowledge about all this but i also feel that it is not good to invest or buy any coin right now. I can be wrong though.
766  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin reduces unemployment on: August 01, 2017, 10:18:47 AM
The best example would be me, im unemployed for 4 years now for personal reason. Until when i learned about bitcoin, i can see light for me to earn for a living.

Not everyone can earn a living out of bitcoin. It needs skills and experience to do so. If you are unemployed but you have skills, like technical skills or trading skills or anything that can be of work for people then you can surely get something good out of bitcoin, but if you have none of these skills then it would be the best option to consider bitcoin just as a secondary option of earning money.
767  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why BILL GATES do not USE Bitcoin? on: July 31, 2017, 07:48:00 AM
Hello,
I just want to know why Bill Gates do not invest some money in Bitcoin, he will be a very big contributor to the crypto world, and will also be very respected, he will also be able to become more rich (or less).
But what is the reason why he do not invest funds in cryptocurrencies?

He doesn't do it because he doesn't need to. The basic purpose of anyone getting involved with cryptocurrencies is to get money out of them in any way, so why would the person getting enough money from other resources and being the richest person in the world invest his money into this? He has enough and he can get even more but for that he doesn't need to invest in bitcoin.
768  Economy / Investor-based games / Re: Double Your Bitcoin In 24hrs on: July 30, 2017, 10:49:24 AM
Stop sharing the things that can bring no good to people but rather take things away from them. There is nothing like "Get double in xx hours" in the world which is genuine, and everyone know that by now (maybe not all, but almost).

P.S: This thread belongs to Investor-based games section. You have posted it in the wrong section.

770  Economy / Economics / Re: How long could bitcoin last? on: July 28, 2017, 07:49:38 PM
It all depends on the concept of Demand and Supply. When there will be no demand, there will probably be no supply as well. As long as there are users of bitcoin in the world, i don't think it can crash down at all, as it is the demand, and what they (bitcoin users) get as a high price is the supply for their demand. So this tradition keeps going until the demand ends which i don't think is possible in this case.

774  Economy / Services / Re: [Bounty][Sign. Campaign] 🌟TOP PAYMENT 🌟 - Flyp.me Campaign: STARTING on: July 26, 2017, 04:11:05 PM
If you are not paying in bitcoins, your campaign does not belong here. Only campaigns paying with bitcoins or both, altcoins and bitcoins are posted in Services section. Altcoin paying campaigns are supposed to be posted in Marketplace (altcoins) section.
775  Economy / Services / Re: [ICO] Enigma Catalyst - Build Your Crypto Hedge Fund | Signature campaign [OPEN] on: July 26, 2017, 10:49:20 AM
IMPORTANT NOTICE

It has become apparent that it is NOT allowed by community standards to structure our program in this way. We are REMOVING the condition to post in the announcement thread effective immediately. We may need to increase the minimum post count per week slightly as a result. Thanks for your understanding and we will update shortly. We would still appreciate your continued activity in our announcement thread- we will continue to be answering all questions about Enigma Catalyst and our token sale in that thread primarily.

I'm working with the moderation team to resolve the announcement thread lock as soon as possible. Again, thank you all for your participation here.

Thank you,
Enigma team
www.enigma.co

Glad to hear something from the team, and glad to know that the campaign will continue after removing a few rules from it, i thought maybe the lock will cause the campaign to get closed.

Both of the rules bellow are now removed from the campaign.
Quote
- Make AT LEAST 1 POST in Enigma Catalyst ANN thread: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2014543.0
- Make AT LEAST 1 POST in Enigma Catalyst signature campaign thread. (this thread)

So there is no increment in posts? I mean, are we still supposed to reach 25 posts to get paid?
776  Economy / Economics / Re: Can Bitcoin Volatility Be Controlled? on: July 26, 2017, 07:25:13 AM
It is of course not possible to stop the volatility of bitcoin. It is just like asking every single person, every exchange and service to stop selling or buying bitcoins, because that is the reason why bitcoin is volatile. It is in circulation that is why its price does not stay in one place. If bitcoin is supposed to be stable then there should be no demand and supply anywhere in the world which is impossible to happen.
777  Economy / Services / Re: [ICO] Enigma Catalyst - Build Your Crypto Hedge Fund | Signature campaign [OPEN] on: July 26, 2017, 05:42:22 AM
The ANN thread of Engima Catalyst has been locked by a forum moderator, saying that it is breaking some rule of the forum. Not sure if what will be the result of this, but i guess we will have to find another campaign if we want to continue.
@Woshib, any information on this?
778  Economy / Economics / Re: Signature campaign as my job? on: July 25, 2017, 07:53:08 PM
Though they (signature campaigns) should not be considered as a job, but yeah, you can use them to earn some bucks until you are old enough to get a full time job. Just like you (not your age though), i'm also not having any full time job as i'm still studying and i also started with signature campaigns and today i have a good enough amount saved in my wallet. So, use signature campaigns in a positive way to get some bucks and remember, they are not a job, but they are just an opportunity for people like me and you to atleast have something in our pockets while we are still in school.
779  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][ICO] Enigma Catalyst - Build Your Own Crypto Hedge Fund on: July 25, 2017, 07:36:14 PM
The project seems truly promising. Good team, active owner and good vision. Though we cannot actually predict what is exactly going to happen in future, but i think this project will go pretty far in the community.

Edit: Just read the article on CoinDesk and it made me feel even more confident about the project. Hoping for the best.
