761  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Ukraine Just Legalized Bitcoin on: February 17, 2022, 09:37:32 PM
Being a legal tender and legalized are two different things. People may go and over extend a news when it's all about legalization of bitcoin. They're now like setting a standard for themselves that it's like a legal tender implementation.
With the tension that's been there on Ukraine with Russia, they're still having bills that's outside the protection of their country which should be focused there. This law is like other countries that haven't made any bill yet bitcoin and any activity except illegal is adopted in countries that are okay with it.
762  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is the objective of bitcoin redirected? on: February 15, 2022, 09:48:29 PM
From the past decade, bitcoin failed to add any value to the real world.
It didn't fail to add real world. It even gave value to the people and made a lot of people very satisfied from what it is.

It was supposed to be an alternative payments solution but it become an assets class for storing values.
There's no problem on it, both use has always been there and none of them became crossed out as its usage. Being used as a store of value and payment method, bitcoin is the way to go and that's why there's no problem with that.

Its technology is old, slow, and expensive compared to many altcoins.
How about fiat? they're older and slower when you go to the usual payment methods. Choose the altcoin you like and it's entirely okay for us to hold this expensive crypto.

Still, people investing in bitcoin because of its extremely fast-moving advantages compared to other assets like stock and gold and its extensive nature. Is the objective of bitcoin is dead or has it's been redirected on purpose?
If there's any objective that bitcoin has, it has never been dead. The purpose will always be the same and it's just us, the people who are using it are using it in different many ways.

763  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: What is the safest coin to stake? on: February 13, 2022, 09:29:10 PM
https://www.ledger.com/staking
On that link, it has 5 supported altcoins for their staking. I think a company like Ledger supporting only 5 altcoins for staking has some serious reasons for doing so.
I'm not saying that you rely on their bet as they support these. But you can have an idea that one of the most known hardware wallet got to choose these.
764  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Binance, led by Changpeng Zhao, is taking a $200 million stake in Forbes on: February 12, 2022, 11:01:22 PM
Maybe CZ wanted to change the perception of the public towards crypto and he can used the Forbes to market it for him.

Or he is just expanding his business because he has so much money right now that it is better to really spread out his wealth and not just put everything in one basket.
That's both IMHO. He's able to stabilize the FUD that the other media outlets would bring and for him this is going to be a counter for fact-checking if ever he wants that to happen.
And him being a CEO, he's looking in the long term vision as an entrepreneur to expand his business not just to limit his range to exchange but also into media.

So I guess it's a win win move by CZ here.
It is, Forbes is known and established so it's certain.
765  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: What are your plans for the 2022 crypto market? on: February 11, 2022, 08:56:45 PM
In my opinion, there will be no winter season of cryptocurrencies in 2022.
There is no one that can tell that we're not going for a winter or bear season on this year.

This trend will grow every year.
As much as possible, we want to see all of the trends grow for this year but to say that they'll keep growing year by year. I think we have to stop and realize those early projects that have been broken with its trend.

The most important factors here are how countries will decide to manage this trend.
It's not the countries that will decide but us. The trend starts from the people and these countries are just the same as us. They're also mere adopters but they're not the ones to decide and being followed by the market.
766  Economy / Gambling / Re: Information of Crypto Casinos License and KYC requirements on: February 10, 2022, 09:32:24 PM
If indeed the casino can guarantee to maintain the security of our personal identity
But the majority of us already lost that trust and confidence to any website and not just with the casinos that are asking kyc per se.

I think there is nothing wrong with doing kyc from the beginning to register to meet their requirements
Nothing wrong if you think that the casino is trustworthy and you're really fine doing that. But many of us won't agree with the same thing as what you've said.

my friend once had experience betting on local online gambling sites and they did not make kyc as the initial requirements to join the site, but when my friend got the jackpot with a large enough prize, suddenly the site said the player account could not make the first withdrawal on the grounds that it had not been kyc and canceled the prize.
Even in some casinos, when you hit a jackpot and you're about to withdraw. There's a big chance that they will ask you for it.
767  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Stake.com & responsible gambling? on: February 01, 2022, 11:17:41 PM
Managing database could be another world of difficulty.
Not a hard thing if they have control on it. There's always the faster query on their database and can just remove the email of the person that don't want to receive it if they've been asked nicely. But as said, the option is there for each individuals that have found it annoying and don't want to receive it anymore through unsubscribing.
768  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Casimero vs Butler ordered by WBO on: January 29, 2022, 10:06:10 PM
They're the ones that are doing everything to bank the money for both fighters and that's why they have the say to just being followed and these boxers can't say a no to them.
Also, it will affect their career if they would go against to what Arum says and they won't get any match or will have a long time of wait before Arum gets on them again since it's all about being professional and business.

That's unfortunate thing on boxing since they can't say no to their promoter knowing if they do so their career will be ruined. There are series of events where arum dispose or give less priority to a fighter and we can say that they are doomed since they struggle to get a fight. So best to follow him for now and show some good fight to increase their stack then fight their desired fighters, also for sure fan votes will matter since this is still a business.
It's part of the business and it's like being employed and whatever the boss says, you just have to follow it. Those series that you've mentioned is what these boxers are avoiding so that they'll keep going on their career. It's really their main source of living and whatever the promoters say and gives speech about their matches, they just have to go with the flow.
769  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: There is fear in the market, isn't it time to buy? on: January 29, 2022, 09:18:41 PM
For now there are indeed many investors who feel loss and loss of assets that they have invested in some coins that can indeed be relied on, but now the market is getting worse so we become panicked and some investors sell their coins in a state of loss, of course this is a wrong decision because with these circumstances we should buy some potential altcoins that can grow in the future.
Sorry but I don't see the market the way you're describing. The market getting worse? Well, the market was worse in the past because the market cap isn't high as it is right now. That's why for me, it has gotten better instead of describing it as worse. I don't think that others would realize that because all they want to see is for it keep going up but they don't want to see it correct. And the other matter is that they don't want to acknowledge how low it was last year at the same season.
770  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Casimero vs Butler ordered by WBO on: January 27, 2022, 11:00:38 PM
^^ I think it boils down as to what Bob Arum will advise Inoue here.

If Uncle Bob says "fight Donaire first, the chances are very high since you already beat him. Let Casimero fight other boxers, and be damage before you fight him."

So this could be the likely scenario even if Casimero wins his bout against Butler.
Possibly.
It's always Arum that gets the job done and whatever he says, that's the final and these boxers have nothing to say but just to obey what does the boss says.
Promoters would be always have the final say when arranging things and its true that boxers would just simply follow or obey on what are those words do come out from his mouth.Arum would definitely find and set the fights accordingly and as long it could really give out revenue the most.Whether he do following on the hype or demand directly or would just make things to happen a little bit further or delayed.
They're the ones that are doing everything to bank the money for both fighters and that's why they have the say to just being followed and these boxers can't say a no to them.

771  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: we can still rely on the bounty.. on: January 27, 2022, 10:04:10 PM
more confident with tokens generated from bounty than airdrop that are currently widely available on social media..!!
what do you think about the current airdrop?
Not worth it.

is there any hope for the future?
Maybe 50/50.

and is anyone still looking for luck by joining the airdrop?
Yes, I still see many joining airdrops but it's just they might have some value in the future but not really relying on it.

What potential airdrop tokens did you get?
Most of them are dead, not lucky with airdrops.
772  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Finally got paid for some work in bitcoin on: January 27, 2022, 09:00:54 PM
First, congratulations to you OP. You receive bitcoin for your work and you now decide whether to hold it or just dump it but the wise idea is to hold it if you have other source of income.

I will be having mine also in the next months because the company I am working os acknowledging crypto and the first currency they are going to invest is Bitcoin,.

there is a Memorandum comes out yesterday asking if Whom wanted to accept bitcoin in payment monthly and i ask for mine lol.
Great, that's the type of company that I would love to work for too. If they've asked for paying their workers in bitcoin, they're also holding it. It's a hassle to them if they'll buy bitcoin with your salary and then give it to you.

774  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Altcoins worth investing at dip on: January 26, 2022, 10:24:25 PM
Solona, Polygon Matic, Terra Luna are very good altcoins to buy in this downturn, I see the usefulness of these assets is why they always recover faster than others
These are the altcoins that have became popular last year and it's because of their gains and the projects that have been working with them. The potential of these projects were seen by many but I think there's still some projects that should look upon since most of them have the same platforms.
ETH for me is still the top for the altcoins to invest if you want to see one of the best in the alts market.
775  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will owning 0.01 BTC really make you rich? on: January 26, 2022, 09:33:42 PM
I think in the future 1 BTC can make you rich but also 0.1 BTC can be nice money.
And 0.01btc is a little bit nice too. But for everyone who believes in the market, there must be the sense of thinking that they should own more and do whatever it takes and to exert more effort for them to be able to buy and hold more bitcoin.

You never know what can happen in the long run. But BTC will still exists in 50 years that's for sure. (if the world will last too Smiley )
Hopefully that's true, bitcoin's last supply will be mined after a hundred years and before a silver anniversary comes, we're all hopefuls that bitcoin would reach 7 digit numbers as its price.
776  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Your opinion about Tokens which is based on environmental sustainability on: December 21, 2021, 02:18:55 AM
Saw those type of projects but they didn't made a difference. They're just another token.
777  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Re: Crex24 kicking me out on: August 11, 2021, 09:17:11 PM
Show me an exchange with good volume for the coins I mentioned. I would be happy to go there.
I tried to help but you're right that most of those coins are only in crex24.
I guess there's no solution to that unless someone agrees to your offer or you sell them to another person which is unlikely.
778  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Will dogecoin drop to $0.2 again? on: August 11, 2021, 08:48:47 PM
Being used for hypes if there's no whales to move this coin it will be difficult to gain the attentions

of most investors, those who losses money from following the hypes already move out and use other

coins that have potential to recover their money, in need of deeper analysis before placing your money

if you have plan to invest to this asset.
There will still be traders that are going to follow this coin. They're going to buy it when it hits low.
Because they still think that there's still connection of this coin to every single word a hype guy tells.
But I would refrain joining them even if this coin gets on hype again.
779  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Why shiba inu not come 1$ on: August 11, 2021, 08:27:53 PM
Yes total circulating supply really matters the most. Token price really depends on the number of the investors and it's circulating supply, because even if the token has a lot of investors or demand and the total supply is big then still the price will not going to rise at all because of the big supply.
Yes.
Shiba inu got too many supply and it is a problem that most investors sees on it. That won't change and it should be understandable why it won't hit $1.
Burning some of their total supply could help but this will not be enough to push the price to move high, it was totally it came from the support of the community but sadly, it was not what I'm seeing right now. I mean, many investors aren't seeing the value of this project that is why they just skip and ignore it. It is somewhat they are looking at those projects that haven't just to pump because of the shilling, they are looking at those projects that have market profitability.
It won't be really enough.
That's a lot of token to be burnt but even I think they'll come up with that idea. It will get the attention.
But, eventually people will still dump the token and that's for sure.
780  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Next 10-100x coin? on: August 11, 2021, 08:04:35 PM
What are your small cap gems that you think will 10x or 100x in the next few months? Do such coins even exist anymore with how saturated the market has become? It seems there are dozens of new coins every day.
Don't look with that type of market.
You'll be ending up going with the wrong coins and might scam your money.
Always be wise with the money you'll invest with such coins, buy those established.
