So how's your BTC shorting going today?  Grin  $27k soon?  Grin

Well... I did sold some today at 54,400$ that I brought from cold storage in a rush when I saw it going over 53K... But for now, I still keep placing orders. Tongue ... Not to be very bearish, but 41K is very possible if it happens in the next 7 days. And even 39K if it happens in the next 3 days. Smiley

But lower then that, Dunnooo man... 27K .... or lower.  Roll Eyes  Roll Eyes
That sounds like fairy tales. Buttttttttt....... Over 8-9 years of observing the price. I would not dismiss a 60% drop. Maybe flash crash at this point, because all sorts of sharks and raptors stand on a lookout for low hanging fruit. Tongue Tongue

I can't recommend London going by my own research having had some job opportunities there in the past. It also remains to be seen what post Covid will look like. Some, including the Goldman Sachs boss, reckon we will all go back to working in offices soon. I highly doubt that. Thus the question is what does a London look like long term when people have no need to go there anymore.

Quote
1. States that favor private property rights and other freedoms (usually conservative)
2. States that have low or no income taxes
3. States that have low property taxes (this is huge!!)
4. States with moderate climates and a longer growing season
5. States that don't have to deal much, if at all, with natural disasters (i.e., tornadoes, tropical storms, hurricanes, earthquakes, mudslides, etc.)
6. States with low electricity costs
7. States that have lots of available, lost cost land within 10-20 miles of a major city
8. City near where you will live has a decent airport with international flights

If you cross reference all of this criteria, you'll find that it narrows it down to about a half dozen states at most.

Really you narrowed it down to Texas.  Except for #3 which is balanced by #2.
Tennessee was my thought: Texas gets way too many natural disasters which lead to starving mobs. No fun. And I think they have pretty high electricity costs with no ability for solar producers to get the higher prices utilities charge in an emergency. That cap is *nasty* IMO.

But you could build something way out in the sticks, build your own power utility isolated from the Texas grid and provide power to other people. Hm.....

Texas has absurdly high property tax rates, and high sales tax rates.

Exactly, but our (TX) housing cost is often lower, even in urban areas.
However, it also sucks not to have as large % housing appreciation as left and right coasts.
Our neighborhood prices are at or slightly below those in 2014.
From 2014 to 2016 oil dropped from 112 to 37 within less than 2 years, Houston RE did not "like" that (or maybe it was storm effects).
Maybe we will "pop" this year or the next one, by the looks of it.
BTW, Hawaii has high house prices, but VERY low property taxes, probably one of the lowest in US.
Yes, TX property tax is around 2% of the property value yearly, which is very high, but not the highest.

I'm actually still considering relocation to Texas. I took a little vacation to South Padre Island before the big catastrophe. I toured the Rio Grande Valley, and found it to actually be much nicer than I expected. The housing is very cheap down there, and the climate is on par with central, coastal FL.

Well... with all this sh!tshow snowstorm nonsense "miniiceagewarmup" people will kinda wake up more, they still start to prepare while others laughed of Texas. And they will get rekt when the snow won't melt up North on the next time the snowing will pull a number on everyone. Smiley
765  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC is over $54,000, hold or sell? on: March 09, 2021, 06:16:48 PM
My advice:

Don't trade #Bitcoin in the hopes to get rich overnight - it's a long-term play.

Your purchasing power will probably gain at least 1000x from here & then it's scarcity will act as a dividend forever.

Why risk your position or your health?

Just #stacksats & enjoy life.

You will get more experience from trading. And as long as you learn the technique of "patience", you will be able to do easy 1% per day from 2-3 trades. And eventual you will have a monthly strategy of sending a small amount of u'r Crypto from the exchange on to some offline wallet.

Yeah right! Next they'll be trying to convince us that we can make phone calls without a cellular service.  Fake news!

This causes generational conflict (millennials and gen Z vs boomers and X-ers):

A friend of my son got shut down when he tried to thread a colored ethernet cable across the house (from the gigabit router to his "gamestation"). lol
...now he is complaining that he is losing precious time in those super-competitive games as Wi-fi is unable to catch up.
Case in point: no dominant female in the house would allow such ethernet cable monstrosity hanging in the living room going to the second floor (or even room to room on the first), no siree  Cheesy.

Good day to you bag holders, feeling fabulous, orders got filled again.  Grin  Grin

And I have those type of cables laying around all of my 3 homes. And ladies get constant treaths from me to not walk with long heels on them or I'l give them the heel. Tongue  Cheesy  Cheesy

That looks fun.

But I do feel a huge FOMO to sell. Dunno why. But I fear like the price will go to that 41K / 39K / 37K or even 27K. Cheesy Cheesy

Then sell and stop posting your shit here. If you feel that's the right call for you, go ahead and do it. Then if it does drop come back here and tell us how smart you were. If the train leaves without you don't expect us to wipe away your tears.

Dude... Smiley ... u took away all the fun! Smiley

*edit(): In the end, people like me posting FUD sh!t like this will eventually make you stronger on the inside.

*edit(2): Special "Bad Sign" signal price ---50505.05--- was deployed. Cheesy  Cheesy (let the dump proceed.)

I have no idea if it is or not but it's been too long since we had some Ron Paul.

I might feel a bit bullish. But still skeptical. Smiley

Meditation is timeless observing.
Controlling is quite the opposite of it.
Getting out of being controlled (by thoughts, for example) - as well as of controlling (trying to control)- is a side effect of observing.

If you need many words to describe something simple, you probably didn't get it...

Here, we start from here. Why do you feel like 'control' is a bad word? Or a bad practice?

Feeling in control is confidence. Confidence is not letting anything interfere with u'r vibration. Basically you meditate to hold a certain vibration. We do not judge or lay a sentence if a vibration is good or bad. You are just in control of a certain vibration. If u want to control fear or courage and always be in a state of fear or courage. You can do that trough meditation. Because meditation is a tool that you can incorporate within you and adapt it with your surroundings. Control is not bad, it's just a state of meditation. Smiley
774  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: March 06, 2021, 09:13:51 PM
Its nothing wrong to do "her own way", the point of meditation is to not give a f^ck in the first place. And having shoes ready, good for her!!! Making yourself the most comfortable and making the things that don't make you worry, is perfect. If u don't worry, I consider that a perfect meditation exercise. Smiley

The concept of meditation is meditation.
But if you decide to do it the yogi way, or tai-chi (doesn't matter which way, honestly) then you better do it exactly how it's meant to be. It's a tradition with meanings, expressed in postures, feelings, emotions, breathing and the balancing of all this.
The way you try to put it, it's like saying "Tantra is just touching a naked person, it doesn't matter how you do it".
You can as well just go on and meditate straight away, like in "the power of now" methodology, right. But this also has it's own tradition(s) and is not "meditation" as such either.
Meditation is not about not giving a fuck in the first place, it's more about to fall in love with existence. "not giving a fuck" is a perspective of the ego.

No.
And Yeah in the same time.

You are wrong and also have some truth.

Basically u can't force a 'normie' to have rigid rules and making them to take a path of harsh rules & restriction.
One must come to peace with their surroundings trough their own experience and lerning curve. Just because todlers are supposed eventually to walk and speak, it doesn't mean they have to walk and speak. Smiley

I understand that there might be rigid techniqués and rules that need to be followed. And they might take you faster to a state of harmony.... But some might get more out of it if they try to get to that sense of harmony by trying to understand how they can get there on their own and if they want that, and how can they understand their path in an ascending way by observing the things they don't like. Meditation is more about awareness, being aware by the things you don't like and that bother you. And in a way you try to not give a f^ck and be bothered by nonsense. Tongue ... like the shoes. Cheesy Cheesy
The thing is that you do meditate with time and understand new meanings in less or lesser and even nothingness (coming to terms not to take "the observable nothingness as nothingness"). Meditation is a perspective of control to not be bothered by your surroundings and go trough a path or experience without being influenced or altered, keeping/retaining in the same time your older self-state-presence-of-mind attitude and energy. Smiley

This such boring movement last couple of weeks.. WO - when $60k??

I see a SHS pattern in daily.
Probably "such boring" will be over soon.
Relax  Grin

a great man formula to get rid of "that such boring" is a meditation on the beach with 2 sexy girls around "lol"

I keep in my mind....soon >>"100k" Cool

I know a bit about meditation and all three on the photo are doing it wrong.
However, it's more important that you do it, not so much how you do it, but the chinese and yogi are quite strict with the traditional postures.

Yeah, especially the one in the blue top seems to be doing it "her own way", like she's waiting for something important... She even has her shoes ready, to run to the nearest HoDLer once Bitcoin reaches $100k. Nice.

Its nothing wrong to do "her own way", the point of meditation is to not give a f^ck in the first place. And having shoes ready, good for her!!!
