7721  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Raiblocks doubt. on: June 22, 2017, 01:34:43 PM
I have claimed some mrai on raiblocks on the site, but after i check the stats, its showing transactions are pending. Not showing balance on particular xrb address. Why ?

Address = xrb_3cnqkay3r5y9q41qk9q9gkoksdbjws4tq9okt43osqspettc4mhrk3g9t4qr

and wallet also not syncing too. Its showing continuously synchronizing on wallet. Why ?
Have you tried to download the latest wallet version? It would really remain pending because you havent still sync your wallet and download the entire data. Once you finished syncing those xrb will surely arrive on your wallet no matter what. Theres nothing to be worried about. I have experienced this thing in the past when i still engaging on xrb but now i completely stop.
7722  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Withdrawal still "Awaiting Approval" in poloniex on: June 22, 2017, 01:08:12 PM
OK. This is very weird. All these Poloniex withdrawal issue threads. I have just withdrawn 0.05BTC from Poloniex two hours ago, and the transaction has been confirmed in like 15 minutes, so I really don't know what this issue is, or why people are experiencing it.
No withdrawal should need to manually be approved, because then you're at the mercy of these utter bastards.

I'd call it either "selective scamming" or "manipulative behaviour to earn profit from the vast amounts of BTC deposited into the exchange".  Most likely the latter or a combination of both.
Yes there is a chance that you say it is true and we can see it here https://poloniex.com/press-releases/2017.06.07-Improving-Our-Support-Capacity/ and it seems that the "Awaiting Approval" issue may only happen to new account or who has not done level 2 verification.
I want to ask if I do verify level 2 that requires to upload identity, while my poloniex username is different from my identity. Is this allowed?
Shit man! My withdrawal is experiencing the same problem for the third time, yesterday I tried to withdraw with doge then withdrawal with BTC and it runs fine, but now after I buy ETH then I make a withdrawal on some BTC I have but my withdrawal status is " Awaiting approval "again.
I'm traumatized to withdraw BTC from poloniex, I'd better do withdrawal on altcoin from poloniex.
I'd say try to withdraw it all at once and then leave Poloniex altogether.  The risk of losing your coins far exceeds the reward of keeping your funds in there at the moment.  Just move to Bittrex or something.
I've done this, but I can not change the payment address on the campaign because they need a signed message.
That wont be a problem, once they would request for a particular document and if they found out they are all okay they wont mind no matter what your name is on the site. Are you sure to move up on higher tier? This might be the only thing or solution on the delays you are expriencing because unverified account mostly do experience this thing.
7723  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Loss almost 40%, should stop trading or not ? on: June 22, 2017, 12:38:16 PM
All of us made similar mistakes. I wouldnt / didnt stop after loosing.
Try to learn when to buy. Do not buy around all time high points.
I like to suggest to stop temporarily after facing big losses. Because we must need some time to learn after a big frustration, simply continuing after heavy losses might lead to more confusions like we could not focus on trading. When we will be trading without focused the mindset, there will be no guarantee that we will not lose futher.

So, it must be a good practice to stop trading for sometimes temporarily and we should focus on learning some strategies and mastering some technical tools. When we are having confident about our skills, we can resume our trading.
If we are really experiencing big loss then frustrations and depression is always there and as you said we should stop momentarily and think of other ways rather than rushing up again on trading we wont really think off clearly when those doubts and frustration is still on ourselves. We should really moved on and make it as a learning rather than give up so early. Mistakes are part of progress on a certain person.
7724  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will the final number of bitcoins become a serious limitation? on: June 22, 2017, 12:16:45 PM
Interestion your point

I don't think so, because every day that is passing by, the bitcoin population is always increasing, its demand is increasing, that is why the miners and investors are keeping the bitcoin on recycling to prevent this bitcoin limitation that you are thinking. In the near future, I'm pretty sure that there will be even more bitcoin users because that time, bitcoin would be the world's currency that we are all using, fiat will be useless.
Fiat would be useless? Its hard to think off that this thing would happen later on even how bitcoin would progress and develop on near future. Assurance on becoming a global currency is still not clear and about limitation its not actually a problem considering that there is 21m supply of bitcoin and those coins will circulate even its limited then expect for the value would be on its peak.
7725  Other / Off-topic / Re: newbie question again, building a desktop PC on: June 22, 2017, 11:46:31 AM
hey guys i used to play a lot of games back a few years ago and at one point about 3 years ago i stopped using my PC and switched to just having a macbook for trading and basically nothing else.

i feel like its almost impossible with my macbook to have any blockchains installed on my MAC because of storage issues also i have all my DJ stuff on it and it gets laggy.

so now i want to buy something that i want to use for lots of original clients like bitcoinQT

if you'd have 2000€ to spend for computer gear and all you want to do is trading and having the possibility to have all those QT clients on your computer, what would you buy?

laptop and add extra storage?
buy a good computer?

let me know i really have no idea about graphics cards or anything.
In just my own opinion and if i do have that budget i can already build a pc set-up on that amount but still in your preference on which you would like because having a pc is much better but laptop might still do and you can able to purchase powerful laptop on that amount.
Heres my pc build:
Core i7 7th generation
8-16gb or RAM
1 TB HDD would be good
250gb ssd
V-card (Optional)
650w psu

In this build i know its too much for trading but it would be multipurpose  either on games or other stuffs.
7726  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: BITCOIN IS WHERE INVESTORS WANT TO BE on: June 21, 2017, 04:55:36 PM
Investors are also looking at the alt coins solutions... BTC needs to improve on many aspects so it can grow and attract a larger number of investors... there are many issues still needed to be solved.
This is true, investors would really see each aspect of bitcoin and if they would find out the flaws or issues then they will might jump on another ship which is ETH.There are lots of news i do read like on adoption of megaupload, snapchat etc. but seems no one still been implemented or been done.If these thing will be done then expect for price to surge up.
7727  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Beware of new scam giga watt miner hosting on: June 21, 2017, 03:26:18 PM
Thanks for the reminders and as I have read on the name of the site it shows bitmain which we do know a reputable company do offer or sell miners either asics or on altcoin but I would really say that this blog has no connections on it. Giga watt miner? Anything on cloud isn't the thing who do I trust.Ive done on cloud mining on whatsoever on this field.

There were a few out there, based on the fact that they realized that mining with the hardware they had was not profitable, so they tried to increase revenue by renting the use of the hardware.  Even those do not last long because they cannot keep long term clients. I haven't heard of any minning site which paid in the long term.

Yes, I have known some people who do offer such kind of service but most of them do fail and as you said they cant sustain for longer basis which mining difficulty increase at the same time the cost of maintenance on running those miners. We do know as the time goes by miners gets out dated which means it wont really profitable already.

For the most part, any easy to mine coin is in the potential stage.  Once that potential begins to manifest is when the minig diff will shoot up and quick most of the time.
Well this is just he basic part when it comes to a newly launched crypto or coin. yes its really easy to mine a coin on its earliest days and as if people will mine it day by day difficulty does really increase.

Unless you are living on country wich generation cost is less well surely you don't need to get worried on mining difficulty, And even we have high cost of electricity here my friend still run his own mining rigs and perfectly he earns 5$ a day per GPU and that is not bad amount to earn in a day.
$5 in a day with gpu mining might not be enough or just a dust amount for some but for those people who do live on developing countries would see this amount would be enough already to sustain living.GPU mining would really be decent if you do know what coins you would mine and also having a knowledge on technical and programming skills would really be a plus.
7728  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Poloniex Or Bittrex? on: June 21, 2017, 01:27:22 PM
Which is best for tradding? poloniex or bittrex? for niwbie in tradding which is easy to trade?
Both sites are good and it really depends on on people preference on which site he would use but as a newbie I would go for bittrex. Knowing poloniex does experiencing problems as of now.If you don't like any hassle then go for bittrex but it still depends on you if you find out that poloniex suits for you then better choose on which you are comfortable with.
7729  Economy / Securities / Re: Invest Your Bitcoins To Offline Business! on: June 20, 2017, 05:58:30 PM
This isn't a good idea i have also thought of doing this in past but the problem i was facing was they wanted me to convert my bitcoins to fiat and then invest and also the returns i would get would be in fiat so it's basically a risk for me as just keeping my funds in bitcoin would give me profit rather than converting amd investing in a risky situation

You will surely convert your btc to fiat if you really want to invest it on offline business since theirs no offline business yet accept bitcoins to their businesses but if you take those consideration and select those business who's strong and most like get some good future with it  I think the risk you have mentioned will be lessen. Don't afraid for the risk since everyday we are facing that and if you afraid to risk something then you cannot get more with that.

Thanks guys for your reply's. First i think you must love cars and love bussines with cars, then you need money have in your wallet Smiley Because if you didnt like bussines with cars and car parts, nobody wants to invest bussines like this. I am grateful for your opinion. If you have any suggestions or more opinions, I'd love to hear from you.

Regards.

Lets say I do have interest on cars and I do have the money to spend on but this kind of words wont really convince me at all on putting and giving up money to someone I didn't know and its just on online world.
As been said on other post better to convert your btc to fiat money and build your own offline business without the hassle on searching for possible investors online.
7730  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Russia faces shortage of PC graphics cards due to Cryptocurrency mining on: June 20, 2017, 04:32:34 PM
This is supply and demand, not anymore. When the demand increases too fast in a short time there is a shortage because there is no time to increase production and distribution to compensate the new level of sales. Who will be happier with this is the sellers who will sell more and more expensive.
Just as expected if theres demand then expect for the prices to surge on and same on my country most of graphics card are already sold out on any computer store that I go because of this cryptomining which is really popular in my country.Have you heard about the news that those GPU companies would make a new gpu that are good on mining. This means they do really feel the demand.

I have read that NVIDIA is creating two graphics cards designed specifically to mine cryptocoins, they want to enter the market fully because there is a lot of demand and that means better benefits.
Well this is how business works on which if they would see that theres a potential on earning huge profits then they will surely jump into it to gain even more because they do observed that demand is increasing on purchased gpu not only on the essence of pc building but also on crypto mining which have more demand than on tradition purpose of it that is why they decide to make a new gpu which is designed for mining.Expect this one would be expensive compared on traditional ones.

7733  Economy / Securities / Re: Small Day Trading Fund on: June 19, 2017, 01:08:36 PM
LOL
one year of study and then you invest only 0.003 BTC?

Well, in fairness, it was just a test to see how I could predict the movement of the market, and as I said I'm gathering capital to invest in my own fund Smiley
Study =/= investment
I would really say that you would really have a hard time on gaining trust on this forum since the projected amount of fund you plan is really big.If I were you since you do trust your skills on doing trading then its much better to seek out offline lending firms and would take a loan and would fund your trading account since you know how to make it big then you can easily repay the loan.Good luck
7734  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Keeping up to date with the latest cryptocurrency news - my solution on: June 19, 2017, 10:33:49 AM
I'm back! Sorry all, I didn't seem to get any initial feedback (which is understandable as I had no previous posts) so forgot about checking back up on it and randomly remembered today.

Super happy that you all approve! On reddit it also went down a treat which I'm really chuffed at. As a web developer I don't really know enough to get involved with a lot of the crypto type dev so its nice to be able to give back to the community in my own way.

I am trying to keep it extra clean and relevant so do try and carry out some spam detection. Hopefully this will keep the news quality as high as possible Tongue

If you have any constructive feedback or feature requests please do let me know.

Thanks again
Hi,

7735  Economy / Securities / Re: Has anyone tried crowdfunding real estate? on: June 19, 2017, 03:39:40 AM
The idea is obvious: raise funds in an ICO and use them in a property buy-to-rent scheme, sharing the profit from rent using the rent money to buy back the crypto asset. Then ultimately reselling the property on the market if majority of investors votes so, and buying back the remaining coins.
The obvious problem is the trust issue: legally the property belongs to the coin issuer, (s)he could just run away with the money. But that would be the risk associated with any kind of crowdfunding, wouldn't it ?
Has anyone tried doing it? How did it go? What are the potential or real issues?
There are some quiet similar post regarding on crowdfunding for real estate business but I think they do all failed or didn't tend to continue their plans because of lacking interest on the public or possible investors.Yes, trust would really be the main issue and as you mentioned there would really be chaos on where those properties would be named. There are lots of factors need to be arranged on this kind of stuff.

But as we see OP is currently using an newbie account and we can't truly determine by that if he is legit or not and our money will be on hazard if we trust it immediately without knowing on what is in the back of his head. But actually this idea is good but the problem here is people see some various type of scamming modus here and surely he would struggle to find those decent investor that can help here project.
I got your point because posting it on a newbie account will make the things more difficult for him because possible investors would really think twice first before they will put up money because they cant easily trust a newbie account announcing about real estate business with crypto. Project plan is really ideal and really be profitable but searching for partners on here would be really hard in my view.

Well if anyone would like to build some project like this then they should find some offline partnership and not to ask funds online since its so shaddy to see some people for asking some funds just for the sake of whatsocalled business. But seems OP doesn't have any reply onhere so maybe i conclude that this asking project is scam and nothing good intention to see on this post.
Seeking out a loan on community would be still possible but he should really project his plans well detailed and very convincing that investors would see that they would really able to earn money and also the assurance we can get if we decide to put up money on this investment. This kind of request or crowdfunding would be senseless.
7736  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Lots of Scammers Here on: June 19, 2017, 03:09:07 AM

Yes you are right, there are lots of lCOs that have no intention of scamming but picking the right ones out is difficult. Personally, I do not do ICOs as I see no need for them. If someone believes in their altcoin then they should not need to premine and should not need ICOs

x
I agree, there are ICO's which dont tend to scam and do have really a serious project but the really main problem here on selecting which is promising and we know its not easy specially when you are a complete newbie on this field. If you are really interested on joining ico then better to know the basics and even the recommended things that should be considered first before jumping in.
7737  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: which exchange has better bitcoin withdrawal fees? on: June 18, 2017, 04:44:48 PM
Poloniex is the cheapest right now but I don't think they will remain cheapest in future. They might soon renew their fee structure because of huge surge in bitcoin price. They can't put fee from their pocket so definitely they will increase their fee but I hope it will not be ridiculous like others have.
I'm hoping that they wont increase their fees too just like others but still understandable if they would really implement it considering on the current situation of bitcoin. For op as been said by most people here, poloniex does have the better bitcoin withdrawal fees.I don't know if they do patch up fees for themselves since those amount of fees does really make slow confirmations.
7738  Economy / Web Wallets / Re: FreeWallet.org Scam - Millions stolen on: June 18, 2017, 03:15:53 PM
Major scam was started by freewallet.org

Over 7 million stolen from users

Beware.. do not use it for anything

This is the scammers wallets: https://etherscan.io/address/0x11b85b4e2fadaebe04a251377aa35b9be3c785f0
Why would people use those unknown or unpopular wallets ? Since there are lots of choices on make use of online wallet even those reputable ones aren't too trusted because chances of getting scammed is still there. Sorry for those users who lost up money on using that wallet that would really be painful but this is just really a consequence of being careless.
7739  Bitcoin / Development & Technical Discussion / Re: fees? on: June 18, 2017, 07:35:43 AM
Been a while since I've played with bitcoin. Tried the electrum client out recently, kind of nice. I tried experimenting with some old wallet with 1mbtc in it, sweeping it and moving to a electrum address. I was a bit stunned to see the fee is roughly 0.6mbtc, so I only get 0.4 mbtc left Is this typical? What happened to the days of 0.1mbtc (or less) fees?

You are not yet informed Smiley When you get used to those fees back in the past then forget it already since fees do increase as of now but well you can easily adjust it but remember to stick on the standard fee if you don't really like to wait for too long.Even myself was got shocked when theres sudden price increase on fees lately even can hardly believe it that this is happening to bitcoin.
7740  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: It cost me $2 + 12 hours to send $25 in BTC now on: June 17, 2017, 05:27:20 AM
Still no one on the dev team considers this an issue?

I have sent multiple $20 transactions all with high fee ALONG WITH high confirm times..

Blockchain.info now has 2 different fee modes to send, both of which are high.

Ethereum will take over Bitcoin if this keeps up.
yeah ethereum the best way for make a transaction for right now. its only about 2-3 minutes.
I wouldn't argue with this since I experience the fast confirmation of ETH transactions I can say that its a lot way better than on the current state of bitcoin, there might people who do use ETH as of now over bitcoin but we cant really remove that people do always love bitcoin inspite of its problem regarding on high fees.I don't know on whats ahead on bitcoin path if this would continue. $2 fee is already average as of now I guess.
