The low price of BTC has also impact on FUT token price, currently it is 40sats (and $0.0066). Maybe it is a good moment to sell FUN for a bigger amount of BTC and then rebuy after BTC price increase?
Coming back to discussion about change of base prize for WoF roll - I think we will stay with 50 for a longer period ;-)

Price gap is much smaller than before, I reckon it could be a good idea as well.

EDIT: Just realized I had locked my tokens for a year. Aaaaaaaaaaa :/
782  Economy / Speculation / Re: what caused the bitcoin price to drop today? on: November 10, 2022, 06:31:47 AM
today i saw bitcoin price going down, and i want to ask everyone, what caused bitcoin to go down? Is it because the world economy is in decline or not?
This is a saddest time for me , because yesterday before I leave for company representation , I almost have a withdrawal but decided to not and will do when i come back from the trip.
but what I saw now is the market falls from so much comparing from 2020 even before the great  pump in 2021.
the FTX issue and Binance seems to be the reason? because there is nothing more that I can see.

A number of crypto companies collapsed this year due to rugpulls. Celsius Network, TerraLabs, just to name a new
783  Economy / Speculation / Re: what caused the bitcoin price to drop today? on: November 10, 2022, 05:36:50 AM
seemingly  , there are more to come that just 15k bottom , the price approaching now to 15k level and the market still shows no strong movement.

Binance bailed out of the deal, causing the price to tank even further
784  Other / Meta / Re: Report Malware and Suspicious Links here so Mods can take Action ! on: November 10, 2022, 04:05:28 AM
After i have written with mprep and he hasnt handled the reports i would like to know what was going wrong with how my report got marked as bad !
Its the same report as all others that i have done with Malware and the Fake Ann they have posted today and the other report is marked as good and not deleted.
Did i missed something as i dont understand it and i wouldnt care if its just a normal spam report , but its a report for Malware and its possible and a chance that other Accounts get hacked with it.
So i am asking for the Mod that handled it why it was handled this way or what happend.
Maybe Mr. Big , hilariousandco or Welsh can explain it or the Mod that have done it please as i dont understand it.

Edit :
And there is still one Fake ANN thread that isnt deleted here : https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5420242.0 is deleted now thx.

Happened to me recently as well.

IIRC, if there are multiple reports for that particular post or thread, whoever that takes charge would mark the first one as good, rest as bad. So FCFS.

I can't remember the discussion thread which mentioned this though, need to do some digging.
785  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: What are different way to earn money through Bitcoin on: November 09, 2022, 04:29:33 PM

Marvelous. Do these sites still exist? I remember that I was fond of this type of earning back in 2007. And yes, since bitcoin appeared, these sites have very quickly switched to paying for tasks in bitcoins. But now, I can't believe it's possible to get bitcoins on job sites, because even at that time, each new registration was tied to the registrant's IP address, which completely stopped multi-accounting.

Yeah. Freecash is an example. But they are more altcoin-oriented due to the fees and to cater to the low cashout threshold.

787  Economy / Gambling / Re: What else should an established crypto casino add? on: November 09, 2022, 12:08:21 PM
Having more crypto payment will be good, i can suggest Litecoin which many other people are using. I found it surprising that you are not supporting Litecoin deposit and withdrawal.

I may not have more suggestion because I gamble more on sport, especially football.

This. Litecoin is like one of the alts (that's not shit) with super low fees that sits well among players.
788  Economy / Speculation / Re: what caused the bitcoin price to drop today? on: November 09, 2022, 09:44:18 AM
The reaction is overdone but not unknown action we've had big scares similar to this.  So far as the news, I think the failed exchange is to be taken over and it'll be sorted out but I could be wrong.  Anyhow doubts will quickly knock the price down from lack of buyers and willing sellers, doesnt take too much to upset the balance at least for a few hours and we'll see further out.

Shame we had a nice rise going on there, this is about as harsh a retest as one could expect to see.   However its closed above support so there is already some bounce back underway to speculate on.

To those hoping to scoop more at a lower price, now's the time Smiley
789  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Real most rewarding Crypto Casino? on: November 08, 2022, 05:46:36 PM
Well, I have always said something, the referral system is something that can be very relative, there are bonus programs where they tell you that you should look for many referrals to earn more money, but they do not say the terms and conditions and among those conditions is that each referral must make their registration that meets their KYC requirement and apart from making deposits or something, and most referrals are people who also want to enter to win, when they tell them what they have to deposit or something like that, the safest thing is that they disappointed or something

That is why I see referrals as a double-edged sword, because if the referrals leave there is no profit for those who seek them, and this causes them to lose, so it is better to read before looking for them, or when looking for them, tell them the conditions.

Even without promos, referrals can "die" if the links are promoted inefficiently.

Honestly not so sure why do they'd join in the first place if they simply plan to bail before making some deposit.

My friend is a member of this site, and his experience is positive with this site and never faced any significant issues regarding playing, deposit, submission, or support. Also, user experience towards this casino site is positive as well. Unfortunately, I haven't tried it myself yet. However, I will register and share my feedback as well.

Thanks, I'd highly recommend you to give us a try Smiley

Remember when a lot of Bitcoiners/cryptopeeps on Twitter were using profile pictures with laser eyes? Yea, it's pretty much just some trendy thing — just in this case with the hats, in a far smaller scale. Don't over-analyze it. Tongue

I remembered them using during the crypto craze. One US senator that was for it changed her profile as well :p
792  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: As a newbie how can i invest in Bitcoin on: November 08, 2022, 12:32:33 PM
I will give a short guide in order to make you understand the most safest and secure way to buy and hold Bitcoin.

3. Only use Bisq to buy Bitcoin, don't use centralized exchange.

It's fine to buy Bitcoin on a centralized exchange because they can be traded after dealing with the buyer/ seller.

Assuming you've already dealt with KYC and traded shitaltcoins there.
793  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🎲BetFury.io|🎁 BIRTHDAY for $1 000 000| Trip to Las Vegas & BMW M8 😎 on: November 08, 2022, 12:05:38 PM
I think a lot of people havent noticed (since they continue to post that boxes are claimable every 20 min), but BetFury has changed it to 60min. On rank 2 I can claim 0.75BFG every 60min (with x2 Bday boost).

I wonder what forced BetFury to change 20min (wasnt it 15min originally?) to 60min? Users still get those same 9 BFG daily ? People would visit betfury.io less often. With old 20min, I used to visit page more often and play some slots from time to time. With 60min, I mostly visit the page just to claim. (p.s. I am not milking faucet, I just want to build a balance for a longer gambling sessions, not to lose everything in few spins).

Maybe it's the farms they've been facing. IIRC, they watered down their faucet several times before this over the same cause.

20 mins is already quite lenient for faucets, without any zero-balance prerequisite.
794  Other / Off-topic / Re: I need more protection for my PC on: November 07, 2022, 07:02:26 AM

Never download any cracked software, that's crazy and if you have, I advise you to reset/wipe your PC...

Then, just go buy a malwarebytes subscription and leave everything at the default settings until you have done more research on how to properly secure windows.

Personally I prefer Linux - Ubuntu has many flavors. Wink

Edit - Also, you can always upload anything you download to https://www.virustotal.com/gui/home/upload to check for viruses/malware - It can seriously help but sometimes has false positives, especially with crypto software ofc.

Oh well, the naive old me back in the days. Now it's been more than 10 years since my PC got infected. Using the free Avast edition and nothing else. No longer opening those sus files. :p

My PC has Linux (Cinnamon) as well but installing things are so bothersome, not to mention the major version updates...
795  Economy / Gambling / Re: I am opening a crypto casino / sportsbook what should we add? on: November 06, 2022, 05:35:04 PM

2. 24/7 live? Or just live sometimes? Also what exactly do you mean by live casino?

I think he meant those casinos from Pragmatic, Evolution, etc... whereby there are live dealers

About #1, many casinos have touted this but in the end, it's ultimately to protect the casino's interests.
Operating in Crypto space for 5+ years. Never asked for KYC.

Check Chain-Bet.com.

Thread - https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1492457.0.

For simple bets and a lower wagering limit, it's easier to manage but we're talking sportsbook and casino with multiple licenses, not to mention a much higher ceiling.

Highrollers can come with 5-6 figures bets. However. not all of them are genuine and a casino can go bankrupt if they don't keep an eye on the red flags.
798  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: EdenHazard changed hand and original owner owe me 0.3 BTC on: November 06, 2022, 08:05:23 AM
EdenHazard, I remember him being a regular gambling board poster before he disappeared, on returning, the account started advertising 1xbit scam. I wondered how a legendary account with clean reputation decided to advertise 1xbit scam knowing that their account could be tagged yet there were so many other good signature campaigns, but I left him a negative tag anyway. It now makes sense that the account probably changed hands and the new owner doesn't care.

Nothing out of the ordinary. High-ranking accounts change hands in order to join those campaigns or run scams.

^ Exactly, nothing major except the OP tag and the absence of the forum ads.

We're still waiting for the major release of Bitcointalk 2 though /s

Are you sure you guys aren't gonna process KYC in case some withdraws or deposits are suspicious?
