The way I understand it, is think of that estimated box like slush's estimated box, then when we solve a block, it moves to the balance box, thought of like deepbits balance box!

Yes, with each solved block your balance should be very close to or exactly the same as your estimation.

its still a few days until we get out of lucky status

Yes, right now it's about double what I'd make on other larger pool.
783  Bitcoin / Pools / Re: [Mining Pool] SIMPLECOIN.US (0% fee, Instant Pay, LP, JSON, Opensource!) on: June 04, 2011, 09:30:15 PM
I'll throw my 660MH/s towards your pool for the next few days or so.  Smiley

Many thanks!
784  Bitcoin / Mining / Re: POLL: How much stales do you get? on: June 04, 2011, 08:56:56 PM
I'm guessing it could also just be the routing of traffic from my home to comcast to whatever hosting center the pools use.
785  Bitcoin / Pools / Re: [Mining Pool] SIMPLECOIN.US (0% fee, Instant Pay, LP, JSON, Opensource!) on: June 04, 2011, 08:55:53 PM
one thing you might add SC is stats for the current round, like when it started, how long its been running, that sort of thing.

I intend to once I have better stats to compare for found blocks.
786  Bitcoin / Mining / Re: POLL: How much stales do you get? on: June 04, 2011, 08:54:02 PM
I'm getting 0.1% stale on my pool. It might be the network, or just capacity (my pool is new and doesn't have massive traffic). But I was seeing 3% constantly over at deepbit/eligius/btcguild. I'm guessing the more traffic a site sees, the more stale shares are caused by network bog-down.
787  Bitcoin / Pools / Re: [Mining Pool] SIMPLECOIN.US (0% fee, Instant Pay, LP, JSON, Opensource!) on: June 04, 2011, 08:50:46 PM
Well if we hit soon, I'll get about double the payout I'd see on deepbit.  Shocked

Tell your friends, tell your enemies, let's get some serious hashing going on!
788  Bitcoin / Pools / Re: [Mining Pool] SIMPLECOIN.US (0% fee, Instant Pay, LP, JSON, Opensource!) on: June 04, 2011, 08:41:39 PM
Cool Thanks! :thumbup
Is the hash rate current, or average? Looks like current, since I'm not mining ATM and my id is not on the hash rate.

Current. I may put up an average too, although going through all the shares might bog up the sql server.

Maybe once we start seeing some solved blocks I'll fashion a better long-term history table.

Your members stat page is counting invalid shares too, i have 4859 shares and 6 invalid however the stats page shows    4865 and no one else is close to my amount of shares

fixed
790  Bitcoin / Pools / Re: [Mining Pool] SIMPLECOIN.US (0% fee, Instant Pay, LP, JSON, Opensource!) on: June 04, 2011, 07:59:48 PM
my workers show a Y.

i agree with RiNyn about the member stats page

Member stats are up. Top 20 current Hashrates & Lifetime shares.

Now all we need is more miners. I'd like to see a few blocks found a day. It'll be nice to see this early jackpot round, but I'd prefer a steadier payout in the long run.
791  Bitcoin / Pools / Re: [Mining Pool] SIMPLECOIN.US (0% fee, Instant Pay, LP, JSON, Opensource!) on: June 04, 2011, 07:45:47 PM
In Account Details for my workers it always says 'N' under the 'Active' column.

I presume this is supposed to be some kind of indicator of 'seen a share in the last 15 min' or something like that but it doesn't seem to be working.  Either that or I don't understand what that column is for.

It updates every 10 minutes, I'll look into it. As long as your share count is increasing, you will get credit.

Mine works as expected, it could just be the way I name my miners that I see no issues. username.1, username.2, etc.

The landlord is doing some work at the house while I go out of town for the weekend. So, I unfortunately must shut down for a day or two! I WILL be back. I just don't want him walking in and saying, WTF ? Why are there all these rigs running full tilt? Huh So, I'll be back Mon or Tue for some real hashkickin' 'Till then, I'll leave you with this:
The re-login on every refresh is getting out of control! Cheesy
Worker Active always says "N" Not a big deal
And, a member stats page would be cool! If people are split between another pool and here, they may be more inclined to "compete" here with all of there power, instead of a fraction.

I like that, I'll whip that together here in a minute.

Linux install guide up. Bitcoin Links & about page too giving credit to the various projects that made this possible.

What features would you guys like to see next? I'm trying to iron this all out so I can release the source.

Thanks for all the support and your valuable mining hashes!

Initial JSON API should be finished tonight.

(Update, JSON monitoring in place)
794  Bitcoin / Pools / Re: [Mining Pool] SIMPLECOIN.US (0% fee, Instant Payout, LP, Opensource Frontend!) on: June 04, 2011, 01:10:54 AM
Yes, I don't think it's the pool. I seem to get far fewer stale/invalid blocks with this pool than deepbit.
795  Bitcoin / Pools / Re: [Mining Pool] SIMPLECOIN.US (0% fee, Instant Payout, LP, Opensource Frontend!) on: June 03, 2011, 10:30:41 PM
me too, you guys better get your miners working harder before diff goes up again!! Smiley
^^THIS^^
We have about 3 days!

I have all 4 of my 265mh/s miners aimed at it.
796  Bitcoin / Pools / Re: [Mining Pool] SIMPLECOIN.US (0% fee, Instant Payout, LP, Opensource Frontend!) on: June 03, 2011, 09:43:48 PM
More precise hashrate implemented. Worker and User hashrates added as well.
797  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: [Beta] Mining Pool #2 | Front End to pushpool on: June 03, 2011, 08:06:36 PM
Oh, found an easy way around the fopen includes, I just included the bitcoin.inc.php and created a new instance of it.
798  Bitcoin / Pools / Re: [Mining Pool] SIMPLECOIN.US (0% fee, Instant Payout, LP, Opensource Frontend!) on: June 03, 2011, 08:04:19 PM
Any suggestions on the linux client walkthrough? poclbm, phoenix, hashkill?

I'm thinking hashkill since you only need 1 miner and the commandline is painfully simple with excellent results. Plus it's what I'm using on my linux miner.
799  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: [Beta] Mining Pool #2 | Front End to pushpool on: June 03, 2011, 07:34:19 PM
So, I went for the 2.0 upgrade.... seems like I have a lot of work to do.

Everyone received random account balances, the current round was reset, bitcoincontroller includes are all messed up. Lots of problems off the bat.
I was able to revert, but I recommend anyone attempting this be overly cautious and have backups ready.

That said the fopen includes with gets do not work for me with bitcoind.php. I can point it at a url, but it seems to behave awkwardly.

okay, everything is back to normal now.Sad  shares look right...  balance zero Sad

I know Sad No one wants a block found more than I do.

I would love to have the jackpot feeling of an early block find.
