781  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Puzzle ... Free money to the first to solve it. on: September 14, 2019, 07:10:42 AM
Yeah too hard to trust a newbie member but I think its worth to try just for fun and dont expect even if you win, if you get the reward its better.

Im gonna try this later  Smiley
My gut feeling is saying the guy really is trying to do this youTube business. If you have seen the videos then you will agree with me. He has put a lot of efforts and honestly speaking for newbies this kind of information will be very helpful.

So I vote for OP that it's legit.

Hmmm I think OP is very legit in giving this riddle. And there have been many people who have done this, like in Paris there is a puzzle of a wall painting, who can solve that puzzle then he get some bitcoin. I think OP is quite innovative in creating content and introducing bitcoin to outside world.
782  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: My simulations for testing Martingale strategy on: September 14, 2019, 03:33:57 AM
I think Martingale method is the most famous, and everyone here, everyone at the beginning did at least once the method
It's incredible when you read about, and the logic is perfect, but when you use in real world, you'll lose, no matter what

The only solution is to stop at a certain point, but it depends on lucky

Yeah right, Martingale is a betting system that is quite well known in world of gambling and trading, but Martingale also has a high risk. Martingale cannot be used as main strategy because it can eat up your balance, it may be good for initial bet but not good for long term. Whatever strategy simulation described @OP, I hope to use another strategy and not just focus on martingale strategy.

Stopping at a certain point is indeed a good way to avoid greed, but there are times when we are on an unlucky day where Martingale devoured all of our balance even though it has stopped for a moment at a certain point.
783  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Is utility token trading actually dead? on: September 14, 2019, 02:20:47 AM
Utility token should have a use case, and should be relevant in the functioning of the platform on which the project is built, this is the only way to ensure profits/revenue accrued in the business would be reflected in the price of the tokens.
But there are lots of nuances to the value of a cryptocurrency, and as stated above, speculation does play a huge role.

I think that utility token must have a use case, it doesn't exist anymore, because most projects don't care about their tokens and rarely do I see a project where developers are serious about developing tokens they make. Most project developers only make a token as a vehicle, after reaching their destination they leave. So see these token are controlled by hype and speculators, just look at lots coins in cmc and pay attention to those coins, they are all influenced by hype, fomo, speculation.
784  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Centralized and Decentralized. on: September 13, 2019, 10:29:40 AM
What is the meaning of Centralized and Decentralized. I know it's a very very old question but i want to know more properly. I really appreciate if someone tell me about what is really meaning of Centralized and Decentralized (in easy way  Cheesy). And what is the different between Centralized and Decentralized Platform. Which one is good for regular people...?

-TIA  Kiss Kiss

Centralization means there is an institution that has the authority to regulate while Decentralization does not have a governing body, so if you have a coin that is decentralized, you have independent authority over the coin.

As an example of comparison, namely employees and entrepreneurs, employees have responsibilities to boss while entrepreneurs do not have because they are independent.
785  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🔶 YOLOdice.com 🔶 - fast & fair dice game BTC LTC ETH DOGE on: September 13, 2019, 08:54:21 AM
How awesome is yolo? Gotta be my favorite since day one. Have never had an issue from withdrawals to deposits and everything in between. The mods are the best and the community is like family. YOLO life for me.  Cool - jAishO^^

Yolo has been around since 2016, so this mod and platform already have a lot of experience dealing with their clients. I also use a number of gambling sites, including Yolo, for now, Yolo is a gambling site that provides a very good experience for me, I'm honest about this.
786  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How important is the name of a cryptocurrency project? on: September 12, 2019, 11:46:06 AM
I believe the name of a cryptocurrency project is very important.  It is the initial step for branding the project.  It also define how well the project developer thought about it and how they value that project.  It also gives an initial impression to the project and the team.  Aside from that choosing the right name can give your project a boost especially if the project have a name that can be easily remembered or can be retained in the mind of the reader for very long time.

Well, especially name is unique and has a clear philosophy towards project they are developing. Indeed, name of project is only 1 or 2 words, but a professional and real project will not only develop product, but they will think long about branding name they made.

It's not even a matter just branding names, but logo that they will plan must be in accordance with objectives of their project. So a branding name will explain everything about their project, of course, a name must be easy to remember and unique.
787  Economy / Economics / Re: Trading on: September 12, 2019, 06:54:15 AM
As a newbie, its still normal to deal with losses regarding on your trading journey. You can actually be assured that your profit will be 5 to 20% at first depending on the strategy and the market movement itself. There's no better teacher than experience.
Making 20% in the trading will be a big profit for every trader, but I don't think you can do that at this moment.
The bear market still with us, and I think it makes sense if you try to make 1%-5% of the profit because that will not be too difficult to reach that profit.
But you need to choose the right coin to help you to make that profit which is not easy to do.
The other thing he needs to do is be patient, don't greedy to get the big profit in one time of the trade.
We don't have to make a big profit in one time of the trade, but we need to repeat the trade over and over so we can make a bigger profit.

I agree with your argument that getting 1% -5% profit is better if done repeatedly compared to getting 20% profit at once. A 20% profit is also only in bullish market and rarely in bear market. But patience is also not enough to make a profit many times, a good trader also requires extensive knowledge and insight.

Many pro traders also often experience losses when trading, even to achieve a profit of 5% in each trade is quite difficult for them. So learning and experience are solution for now, to be able to make such a profit.
788  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Best YouTube channels to watch for TA on Bitcoin and market updates on: September 12, 2019, 05:20:58 AM
There are many youtube channels that present TA educational content in trading and each person has a different perspective on each of these channels. I myself prefer a channel that matches what I understand, everyone has different characteristics in teaching. So it's better, choose a channel that has teaching characteristics that suit you.

And also seeing too much TA content with different channels makes us confused and inconsistent in learning because each channel has its own trading style that is not same as others.

789  Economy / Gambling / Re: ⚽️ SportBet.one - decentralized sports-betting platform ⚽️ on: September 12, 2019, 01:45:24 AM
Seems your sportsbook started functioning from April, btw if it's not a secret, how many customers do you have?
I liked website, it's very different from others, unlike tradtional sportsbet templates, it looks a lot more simply in dark colors, also this website seems quite easy to understand and find every function you wish.
On another hand don't you offer cashback option? I think you need more contests, promotions. Liked that 3% cashback from every lost bet.
Well, time will tell us about you, wish you luck.

Which sportbook is the biggest one currently? Because I can't find one here since the only biggest one site is closed, I can't find any big site around. There is many sportbooks out there but I just feel that everything is just the same, they can only get some players and there will be never be the same players because everyone moving around finding the best payout for each games. I hope this is one that can change my perspective towards sportbooks

Maybe what @rdbase meant was that big sportsbooks are famous old gambling sites. So they have a better name and reputation here and sites like that are included in biggest sites. And, yeah, I think so too, I hope this will become new big sites, it's just that they copy a few domain name from sportsbet.io.

They should have conducted a survey of rival sites first, so as not to cause brand similarity. It's not exactly same, but their brand names are same, it's just a different type of domain. I agree with the @Natalim statement above.
790  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How do you protect your cryptocurrency from thefts? on: September 11, 2019, 04:52:34 PM
There are many ways to protect our wallet from hacking, I myself only protect my wallet with cold storage. I use wallet only when I need funds for transactions and even then on a secure device. But if you choose to be more stringent security, please try using a hardware wallet because in my opinion, a wallet like that is very tight and safe. Maybe some of articles below can help you to find references and tips for securing your wallet.

791  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What do you think about WhiteBit exchange? on: September 11, 2019, 02:34:17 PM
Well it sounds like a new exchange because I have never heard name this exchange. And after I traced there is still few information that provides feedback and reviews about this exchange. But from what I see, this exchange is quite interesting even though it was only launched this year, because development is quite rapid and entered into top 100 exchanges beat poloniex. I will try this exchange another time and I will share my experience here.

I just recently registered in whitebit on Sunday for the reason to sell some of my MB8 coins. Well, I am testing this exchange site, so far its good, the chat support is active and responsive. For the security, I don’t know yet, I am not yet submitting my personal details for KYC verification.
In general, you are having a good experience with this exchange but my advice is that you should not submit information to complete KYC because this is a very strange exchange for many people, we don't see its reputation in the market, rushing to send personal information is not good. In addition, you also do not often use this exchange when the market has too many good exchanges such as kucoin, binance, bittrex, sometimes you just need it for liquidity, no need to think about KYC confirmation when it's not needed

Indeed KYC is a problem for new exchanges like Whitebit because they don't have enough good reputation to trust. KYC is not a trivial matter because it concerns our privacy data, even exchanges such as binance still have a chance to experience data leakages, especially exchanges that have not been tested for safety, such as whitebit.
792  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Do whales got burnt in the market. on: September 11, 2019, 11:00:17 AM
Most folks do believe that the market is been controlled by whales while some don't. some believed that nobody controlled the market.
My question is simple. just like newbies and novices got rekt and burnt in the market, DO Whales got burnt, Rekt or funds got  liquidate in this crypto market.?
i think Nobody controls this market.

Well of course whale also burnt on market. Having much capital does not mean being able to control and be most resilient in market. The crypto market has many whales, so these whales also compete to dominate market and sometimes they will go to war or go with flow to support. But when they lose to other whales, they will be burnt by what they started.
793  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling Marketing And Religion on: September 11, 2019, 09:26:18 AM
Indeed, there are some religions that clearly prohibit all things related to gambling. So not only people who play gambling but they also promote it, just take an example in Islam, if you are a Muslim you surely know about sins of usury and prohibition of anyone involved in usury. So it's same as gambling, it will be a sin for anyone involved in gambling, whether it's promoting, supporting, partners, etc. Maybe that's all I know, I hope you don't ask my religion and why I use this signature.

A pure Islam knows better the do's and dont's in their religion. If gambling is prohibited, then any kind related to gambling like promoting it like you've said as a source of income is not a legal to them. It is like promoting a certain thing that against the religion. An Islam will definitely look for another source of income aside from being a promoter of a gambling site for him/her not to be able to have a sin.

Well, but most people now prefer to think realistically, regardless of religion. We just see a lot of rampant crime, certainly perpetrators have religion, but they think more realistically than religious. Including a gambler now, they only think about how to get money and will never remember sin.
794  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Bounty talkies on: September 11, 2019, 06:15:04 AM
I think you are just wrong in choosing a project, because I have a friend who just joined this forum and started as a prize hunter last year. But so far I see he has made enough money to be able to buy his own motorcycle. And last year I was still active in bounty project, although not all of them gave me a return, but at least I made quite a lot. Now, you just need to analyze project more deeply.
795  Economy / Gambling / Re: Creating a Daily Fantasy Site on: September 11, 2019, 02:47:27 AM
Do you need license(s) to create a daily fantasy site? Since it's not entirely a casino, but it is gambling, does it require the same licenses (in the U.S.)? You also don't exactly need money backed behind it to start one since you can just have paid events you're charging fees on with no guarantees. Obviously there's ways to attract customers, just curious what all goes into creating one.

You better find a lawyer or consultant who can help you about what you plan to do. Indeed, not all businesses must have a license, but a good business must have a clear license. License indicates that your business is legally legal and can be accounted for, unlike a business that does not have it, if one day there is a problem, it might become complicated.
796  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Reinvesting on Bitcoin after losing on: September 11, 2019, 01:07:33 AM
There are and that many, not only me. If you follow development of bitcoin since 2017, surely you have seen a lot losses after end 2017 especially throughout 2018. But look, there are still many members here who still survive and continue to invest, even more and more every month. It's just that it's been littered by scammers now.

If you failed before, then try again but with higher knowledge. Failure is an experience to get better in future, so you only need to learn from previous failures and try again better.

Losing is very normal in crypto investment so it should not block us from attaining success in crypto. I have lose a lot in crypto but i still keep fighting and now i prefer to invest more on bitcoin because it has the highest market value and if i hold it even more, it will give me the biggest profit i desire. Do not be easily discourage if we lose in crypto because this is not really an all profit investment so we should know how to balance and set limits on our own expectations.

Haha well, investment and trade in crypto are almost same as gambling, where we will always feel addict to continue to bet. I know investing is not gambling, but it feels like gambling because investing has big challenges, which makes us always curious to try it. I am happy when my curiosity is big, at that time I tried to study harder to solve bitcoin analysis and it was like an exciting puzzle.
797  Economy / Economics / Re: China launching its own crypto currency ? on: September 10, 2019, 03:13:12 PM
~snipp
In the past,
large countries considered cryptocurrency as a threat and a shortcut to crime such as money laundering & corruption.

now the trend is different,
at this time, the trend that is being created by the US and China is creating a fully centralized over the world.

IMO, this is not bad, it will instead make the cryptocurrency adopted in bulk.

I understand that crypto has an extraordinary appeal, so China is interested in creating it on its own. But if trend will continue to change from decentralized to centralized, it means we still do not have freedom our currency. If we read why satoshi created bitcoin? namely to give freedom in holding money without government interference.

If all governments adopt crypto but with a centralized system, so it's not much different from fiat. It's just that they change technology into a blockchain. I would feel happy when more crypto was adopted decentralized.
798  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Btc is last exit Once the cryotomarket start Falling? on: September 10, 2019, 11:54:26 AM
Btc will be the Last exit once the crypotomarket start Falling?

If so then After altcoins falling Everybody will run Up to btc?

The btc Price Can hit like 5k Up per day...

That is normal and will continue to happen, bitcoin and altcoin will always look for a balance point. When one is pumped other will be dumped and vice versa until it reaches a balanced point though.

But unlike altcoin, bitcoin is far more sturdy than altcoin, bitcoin is able to survive and maintain stability of price even though alt season is coming. Well, because bitcoin itself has every interest in long run compared to altcoin which is mostly run by hype & fomo.
799  Economy / Gambling / Re: How to spot a scam - Bojoko article on: September 10, 2019, 10:46:59 AM
Have you ever been scammed and what do you think should be done to prevent scams in the future?

I myself have ever and so are other member here, I was scammed when I first got to know bitcoin and its investments. At that time I trusted a hype site that was able to make money by only investing and then sleeping, which in the end was same as other hype scam sites.

I hope in future to reduce scammer that damage image of crypto investments, I hope that there will be a crypto investment certification institution. Where every platform that runs crypto investments must have a certification from that institution, this certification institution will indirectly be responsible for platform it houses. I think this way scammer won't dare to do it again.

The article is basically stating that you should only gamble at licensed casinos, while in actuality there are enough reasons not to gamble at licensed casinos.
I mean, I do not want to provide KYC when I gamble, plus a lot of licensed casinos do not offer provably fair games, you basically have to trust a third party for the games to be fair.

There are enough unlicensed casinos which offer instant deposits and payouts and do not require any form of KYC to be submitted.
I think I'll stick to those...

I myself agree with gambling on licensed casinos only but I do not agree that casinos must require players to do KYC, I think it would be better that casinos should have clear licenses than players because most of the cases are that fraud is more often done casino sites compared to a user.
800  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Massive $1 Billion Bitcoin Whale Transaction Makes Waves on: September 09, 2019, 10:58:38 AM
What is the significance of tracking such huge transaction ?
It just goes to show that the crypto industry is a highly speculative one. The only reason traders do that which is quoted is so as to monitor what the big hodlers/whales are doing in order to garner trading decisions. Fundamentals/news are the major driving force in cryptocurrency and shouldn't be overlooked.

I know that, that monitoring every transaction made by a big trader is included in fundamental analysis, but we don't always consider it to be a threat or a big impact. When whale send a very big bitcoin to another wallet, it does not mean they will sell it, sometimes they share it on several wallets. What needs to be monitored is each transaction at exchange wallet address because it has potential to be sell.
