781  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Disadvantages of Gambling on: February 25, 2019, 05:22:06 AM
There are a lot of disadvantages and little advantages to gambling. Gambling can impact your life, it can lower your standard of life is the miminum it can happen to you. The maximum is you risk to lose your family and be all alone , I have seen many people talking to themselves in the street and I know for many of them it is the consequence of gambling addiction.
I do agree with the point of having lot of disadvantages and little advantages but with due respect, not on the next statements. Those are just exaggeration; a gambler will only lose that much if he will be too hooked up in gambling to the point that he is literally losing properties just to play and to win. At this point, this is when stress and depression would come which give you the feeling of being lonesome. But this do not happen to ALL gamblers. The only disadvantage of gambling in my opinion is the lack of control with the outcome to be in favor for the gamblers.
Why do you think gamblers do still continue playing despite of the risk of losing ?
It could be because of the enjoyment that they are having whenever they are gambling. Or maybe, it could be because of their winnings, especially if they are lucky enough. The bottomline is that, we do all have our own reason to continue doing something even if there are disadvantages of it.

There are many disadvantages for us from gambling and because we have realized it, we should be more careful in carrying out this action. Do not let emotions bring us to a situation that is difficult for us to face later. It will depend on each person how to handle this thing so he/she won't get bad situation at the end.
782  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: There is always a chance on: February 24, 2019, 12:22:14 PM
The chance of winning the lottery is very small and we don't know whether we will be as fortunate as those who have won it even after we have tried thousands of times. The word "there is a chance" if embedded into the mind for sure will make us to hunt the lottery regularly and it could give a bad impact.

There's an idiom :
no pain no gain!
But in gambling it seems this sentence would be fit as well.
There are pains with no gain! Smiley
783  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How to keep your funds secured? on: February 24, 2019, 04:19:05 AM
My advice if you want to invest in long-term don't put your coin on an exchanger because in some cases Exchangers are often hacked by hackers, it's better to keep your assets in a hardware wallet, because it's safer from hacker attacks

Right, unless we trade daily, saving our coins in the hardware wallet will be good. Another option is to store it in our own wallet, through the application, instead of putting it on the exchange. And if we are daily traders, using only the best platforms from highly reliable exchanges is a must.
784  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: TREND is our Friend on: February 24, 2019, 02:56:19 AM
As long as the trend is still running in two directions, up and down, of course crypto will still exist and traders can still get a chance to make a profit. As long as we can take advantage of existing trends, of course our trading activities will run longer. Down trend is the time to enter into the market while up trend is the good time to exit the session.
785  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Know when to stop a HODL/HOLD on: February 23, 2019, 12:12:14 PM
This is very tricky in a way i would say, you may think you made the best decision to sell at some particular price but sometimes the price of that token still increase alot, take eth as an example, some people sold eth as low as $1-$5 thinking they made the best decision but today is different story, same goes to other project. It boils down to where one feel comfortable to sell and leave, hodl can be positive and negative.

To avoid doubts when to sell our coins, setting targets is the best way to end our trading session. After that, we can jump again with the next trading plan. Without a plan we will trade aimlessly. I know some people who reluctant to sell their coins when the bull happened at the end of 2017 and now they are crying.
786  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread (EPL) on: February 23, 2019, 09:13:33 AM
Burnley 5.40 - Tottenham 1.66. I think this is a good odds and it looks like Tottenham absolute win in this match, seeing from the head to head history of both teams also seems to have no doubt for Spurs to win this match easily even though Alli and Kane will not play because of injury.

Among the teams in the premier league, Tottenham are the best team when playing away's games. While Burnley has no impressive record with their home matches. Yes, this can be an easy match for Tottenham even though some players are injured.
787  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The Gambler's way on: February 23, 2019, 04:50:49 AM
Actually you can't beat the luck and win in gambling,if you want to win then you should have luck and more gamblers may aware of it but still trying to make money by betting regularly with change of odds and they call it as strategy.

Some of us may have the chance to quit gambling with good amount of money in our pockets but because of the greed that is in us, we don't know when to stop and take the advantage. Usually we will continue to gamble even after we get good luck. Most people will stop gambling in a forced state, that is, after going bankrupt. Whereas when it is winning, the intention to stop is never there.
788  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: I've got $20k to invest. Please recommend! on: February 23, 2019, 02:30:55 AM
determine your investment in bitcoin, I'm sure with that because some altcoins will soon die, the trust for some altcoins will be lower and it will probably be abandoned soon.
so still believe in bitcoin.

True, bitcoin is number one crypto and choosing it as an investment tool will feel safer than on other coins. And of course, the news related to the development of bitcoin will be easier for us to get, which of course can be our reference in making decisions on any event that might occur.
789  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Bitcoin gambling that stressed me out (i wanna quit) on: February 22, 2019, 01:10:53 PM
I have been gambling since 2 years ago. Playing from casino sites to another casino sites. Win lose, win lose, win lose, many sleepless nights. One time somewhere 2018 i started to bet bigger than before. I got stressed out because of the bustings. I cant stop myself from playing. I just want to stop. Up until now, im still gambling and i cant stop myself from it. What will you do if you have situatiom something like this?

If you want to stop gambling then you have to force yourself not to do it again even with a little money. Don't touch gambling related goods and find other activities that you can enjoy best! If you have the intention to quit gambling but you are still in the gambling environment, it will be more difficult to do so.
790  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is there a way to send all ETH tokens at once? on: February 21, 2019, 03:24:31 PM
I have an ETH wallet and there are many tokens in there. At least 20 erc20 tokens.
Simple question.
Is there a way to send all ERC20 tokens in one transaction to another ETH adress?

AFAIK, there is no such way to do so. Each tokens have their own contract address which means you have to make a transaction for each token. So if you have 20 tokens for instance, then you need to make 20 transactions.
791  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Does Martingale Work? on: February 21, 2019, 07:35:30 AM
Martingale really works but only in short term. If you used it in the long run, you'll eventually lose even if you have a big bankroll. If martingale works perfectly, online gambling won't boom as of now and many casinos will get bankrupt easily. I've tried it when I was new in dice. The experience was good until I got 20red streak which I thought before is impossible to happen. Since I stopped using it, I didn't used it again up to now and don't want to use it again ever.

Every betting strategy, if we use it repeatedly, will definitely give us bad results. In gambling, there are times when we are lucky and vice versa. The important stuff is how we manage our money, in the hope of earning profit or at least not losing too much money through gambling. Martingale will work at some points but there is no guarantee that we will get the expected result all the time.
792  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League 2018-2019 on: February 21, 2019, 05:41:53 AM
What a comeback from Man Cty in the last 5 mins. 2 goals in the last 5 mins by Stirling and Sane to take the lead 2-3. Even though they were down to 10 men after 68th min with Otamendi getting a 2nd yellow and out of the match. You should never sleep on Man City or they will burn you with their pacy wingers. Atletico Madrid also come out with a 2-0 win and will make the 2nd tie interesting to see if Juve can answer it at home.

Manchester City shows its class. Despite playing in opponent's home and with a one-player deficit from the 68th minute, they were able to show a pretty impressive performance. MCT has a mentality as a champion. While in other matches, Juventus were made helpless by Atletico Madrid. A 2 goal deficit will be a heavy obstacle for Juventus to play the second game.
793  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Do you think crypto trading can help nation with no Job create jobs? on: February 21, 2019, 01:14:32 AM
there is a nation out there with a scarcity of job and people scavenging for what they can do to earn a living
I won't list any country but the data is out there, My question is can crypto trading be an alternative?

If there can be a proper training program and mentorship do you think a trader can make earning with crypto trading

If you trade can you say this from experience or you will say no?

Trading isn't a job that can generate a number of profits in a certain period of time regularly, for example monthly. Besides that, trading requires capital and knowledge which certainly not many people can understand. I think people who are interested in trading are only people from certain circles. So, trading won't give a significant help to a nation to create job.
794  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Everyone agrees that bitcoin rise will help the all crypto currencies to rise? on: February 20, 2019, 05:29:19 PM
seen from the past, altcoin always follows the price of bitcoin. usually the price of bitcoin determines the price of other altcoins too. I don't know why this happened. maybe, because bitcoin is the king of all altcoins, altcoin will always follow the movement of bitcoin.

Yes, as I often see, most alts will follow the bitcoin trend, but certainly not all alts will be like that. The major coins will usually be affected by the price movements of bitcoin. I have a rough conclusion, whatever happens to bitcoin will definitely have an impact on other coins whether it's bad or good.
795  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Did you lose your confidence as an investor? on: February 20, 2019, 11:59:46 AM
It is impossible to be positive in the market due to fluctuation many people will loose their confidence level. So at that time, we need to think twice about the market instead of bothering we should hold the coin because we already know cryptocurrency adoption is kept increasing which it will help us to make more money along with the bitcoin price.

Fluctuation is inherent in crypto currencies, especially bitcoin, and we should know it from the beginning before we start investing. So, fluctuation shouldn't make us lose confidence. Moreover, you mentioned that the adoption of crypto currency is increasing. It is a sign that you are still have confidence regardless the current conditions.
796  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Want to quit? Here's how on: February 20, 2019, 08:40:16 AM
Quitting is an easy word to speak but isn't easy to perform. It is our bond towards gambling will stop us from doing it and we know that some people make this things as bread and butter for their livings. It sometimes due to our greediness and aiming for more which need to gamble everyday for the purpose of having chances to win millions just like of the others. Maybe we should change this kind of attitude and think of about the future.
No arguments, it’s a difficult job but not impossible. I think that if a person have self-determination and having good support of their family and friends, he can get rid of becoming addicted in gambling. I think it will be more useful if he will engage himself in some other kind of activates. I hope that through this way he can quit gambling activities very easily.

The intention to stop gambling usually arises after we get bad results in gambling and it mostly will remain as intention without the real action. Without the help from the closest people it would be very difficult for addicts to quit unless he went bankrupt and had no more money to bet.
797  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Decentralized Exchanges on: February 20, 2019, 04:36:55 AM
Surprising, there are so many DEX I never knew. Out of this massive list, I only use Crypto Bridge and Allbit. Often I try to avoid DEX for its slow loading process, limited listed coins, and small trade volume. I think we need a clean and faster DEX for everyone so it gets more liquidity.

Idex and etherdelta are the most common decentralized exchange I use especially when I want to buy erc20 tokens or when I want to sell it. For regular trading, I still use the centralized one since I mostly trade in btc/fiat pair. Decentralized exchange is good at one side but centralized exchange still better at some points.
798  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League 2018-2019 on: February 20, 2019, 01:46:45 AM
Kick off
Both Lyon vs Barcelona and Liverpool vs Byern are 0 - 0 after 15 minutes.
Liverpool needs to have more control in ball handling.

It's halftime already with neither of the four teams being able to find the back of the net, what do you think would happen in 2nd half ?

I think we might get a couple of goals in the Barca vs Lyon match, both team have had their own fair chances I'd stick with my prediction that Barca will win  0 - 2, While I think Liverpool vs Bayern could eventually end goalless.

Both matches ended goalless. The second leg will certainly be very stressful because each team still has the chance. Barca controlled the match and had more shots on target but failed to score. Barca will act as the host in the second leg and of course it will be a distinct advantage for them.
799  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How gambling sites can cheat you on: February 19, 2019, 03:05:05 PM
I think there are many ways gambling sites can do to trick their users, but I'm sure people will realize it as soon as possible, so that the site won't last longer. Therefore, for us, it would be better to use a site that has been around for a long period of time. Gambling sites that can last longer and are still used by many people usually have a better level of trust.
800  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ICO makes me sick on: February 19, 2019, 10:46:53 AM
Crypto's condition is very different nowadays and there are many scams, ICOs are less productive and at least there are some who are serious. We all feel how difficult it is to find a good ICO, I have been as detailed as possible in analyzing but still trapped, because in reality there is no sure thing about good ICO.
All we can do is pray and try to find the best way to destroy the wrong project.

When making ico project seem very easy to get funds, in 2017, many parties tried their luck by creating a fictitious project that made many people suffer. And if we evaluate, most projects cannot last a little longer. Even though there are still honest projects, they are of course affected. It is better to forget ICO at this moment.
