(I guess you wouldnt even know if the second one was happening, unless they chose to reveal it .... Would just need to consider the shipping angle at the end of it)

Most of them never sold for over 10BTC though...only Nubbins can get that high of a price lol.
Not 100% true !! The last 2 I sold were for 14 each, both sold in the last 3 months, private sales The 2 before that both cleared ~10 each, possibly the start of the year (hopeless with timings ...) Didnt get as much as I could have for the 4 I sold before that, a few folks got bargains ! Wish I'd gotten a full roll of 12, rather than 'just' 9 (and the roll made up with s3s) This looks a nice coin, good luck with the sale, expecting a few fireworks. Watching, probably not bidding, 'santa-nuts' been too busy spending already |

If it was ordered via HardBTC, it may have been made by Mike and shipped to HardBTC earlier, but not funded by Mike until actually resold by HardBTC. So .... would have had the original unlasered finish, but got a slightly later funding date. Thats my best guess. Potentially could have been the same for other resellers as well (and the steelboy group buy). |

cgs have graded 8 of the brass coins & its the finest grade they have seen.
I haven't even seen a ms68 brass 2013, so it's tip top even with a low estimate.
Monkeynuts told me the following (hope he doesn't mind me quoting him)....
"FYI, I have cross graded a few coins from CGS to ANACS (they were silver 0.1s)
CGS 98, went to ANACS 69
CGS 97 and 96, went to ANACS 68
So those 2013 brass are in pretty good shape!"

New Coin Naming Convention
I have put together the below standardized format for identifying coins and rounds in the book. IU hope that it becomes standard among physical crypto-currency.
PF - Pre-Funded (coin funded directly by the manufacturer): Casascius, Microsoul, Titan, TGBEX, Crypto Imperator, Alitin, Nasty Fans seat coins
BF - Buyer-Funded (buyer funds coin directly, before it is shipped): Some Lealana coins
UF - Un-Funded (shipped with private key secured, but without loaded value): Ravenbit, an option for many coins
DIY - Do It Yourself (Hologram Sticker or other affixed by customer): Silver Wallets, SerpCoin DIY,
2FA - 2 FActor (loaded value is not redeemable with the Private Key alone): Some Casascius bars, bhCoins 2-factor coin
Round - (no intention/capability to be used to store crypto-currency; cont considered a 'coin'): Anarcoins, Bitcoinnerd, MJB Monetary Metals,
Arent there 3 kinds on Lealana that woulnt be entirely distinguishable from the PF and BF ? ie original smoothie funded, definate Pre Funded PF later self funded prior to smoothie shipping, not lasered as buyer funded, but not funded by smoothie .... are you classing these as Buyer funded BF ? They fit your description, but its confusing, as they arent lasered that way (and others are) later non funded, but lasered with buyer funded .... from your descriptions .... even though they say buyer funded on the coin, they are unfunded UF ? Could we have a change in terms to avoid the possible confusion ? Maker Pre funded Buyer Pre funded Buyer (Post) funded Unfunded Or similar ? |

Did he say where in the UK he was... Or any ideas where his accent was from ? Would he provide any proof of identity ?
Any options of finding someone to meet up and to verify possession ? 1 sample coin to show genuine. Old school printed picture, or emailled picture with all coins in, plus some phrasing requested and the date also in the picture, to show possession of bulk.
He can be clear it's not for a sale, just for proof.
Midlands, Yorkshire I can cover. Possibly further afield depending on works schedule and location
Understanding of conditions of coins, how stored, plus date of funding would be useful

I'm quite intrigued. If it is known that there are 5 (ie a definate number of them), then surely it would be known which 5 .... I am assuming the same printing error was done with a single batch of coins, rather than the same mistake made at 5 different times for a single coin at a time. Perhaps they were made up toghether, but then 'thrown in the mix', and then randomly being funded and released. I cant yet make sense of it.
