Adana Demirspor made an important addition to the squad by bringing back Balotelli. Maybe they aren't competing in a European competition anymore but this kind of transfers can help carry them to one of those tournaments again. Balotelli has a really good history with them as he scored so many goals in one season.

There are only a couple of hours left for the transfer window to be closed for Turkish teams. I assume there wouldn't be a big transfer at the last moment. Trabzonspor tried to go for Thiago but it looks like he is staying at Liverpool. I think the quality level of football in this league will be higher this season.

I also believe that Newcastle can't be a title contender. That is too much for them now. They don't have a qualified squad to make it there. I remember how Chelsea managed to win the Champions League title with Tuchel although their squad quality was worse than teams like Real Madrid, Manchester City.

However Newcastle's squad quality isn't as good as Chelsea's firstly. Secondly they don't have as much experience as Chelsea in this tournament. They aren't as big as them in short. They don't have a mentality that is as strong as Tuchel's Chelsea either now.

Considering all of this the biggest achievement they can get is to qualify for next round in my opinion.

It would be a wonderful move for Chelsea of course. But how can they do this now? The transfer window isn't open anymore. If you mean they can do this in January I don't think so. Napoli would never let Osimhen go in the middle of the season. There is no way Osimhen being keen on doing so either.

Besides I'm doubtful about Osimhen to join Chelsea even if he becomes willing to leave Napoli soon. Chelsea can give a lot of money to him for sure but they aren't a successful team these days. Osimhen would rather stay at Napoli whose condition is much better I think.

As far as I know Napoli are working on an extension of his contract on one hand now.

Lukaku is more of an interesting player these days. Because his usual performance and national team one aren't the same for a long time. He has been making a bigger effort when it comes to Belgium. He is even top scorer in the qualification phase now. He is one of the most valued players for the national team for sure as a result.

But Roma will expect to see this effort for themselves also in the absence of Tammy Abraham. We will see if Lukaku can have a good balance between his performance at Roma and Belgium. I think he can do this. It is just up to him to focus on his game well.

The opening match on this week is Juventus - Lazio. Technically Juventus are the favourite side to win this one. But Lazio can be a really unpredictable team. You have seen what they did to Napoli recently. Despite their starting badly to the season by point losses against smaller teams they still managed to defeat Napoli away.

This will be a huge boost to the morale of Lazio players surely. But will they maintain the same effort against Juventus?

I'm not sure about that. Because plain logic doesn't work every time. Napoli can be a stronger team than Juventus on paper but I still believe Juventus are a team that can bigger difficulties for Lazio these days compared to Napoli - considering the recent head-to-heads between them. Therefore I believe Juventus will win this.

Verstappen admitted that the Singapore GP was going to be really tough for Red Bull this week. The weather forecast for Singapore is still pointing to rain for the weekend. However I don't think Verstappen will get affected badly mentally by remembering the previous race on this track. He is one of the drivers with the strongest mental on the grid. 

I would like to remind you of one thing about the previous race here also. Red Bull had to call him inside while he was about to take pole position. It was due to a simple mistake like not putting enough fuel in his car.

I think this time they will be more careful about this and Verstappen will take pole.

I agree with you but it is totally normal. I think none of the richest teams would like to lose a lot of money in transfers. This is why they are trying their best to keep Mbappe for one more season now. Mbappe's being sold in the previous transfer window was their priority. Because he wasn't keen on signing a contract extension.

However Mbappe just wants to stay for his last season with PSG and then leave. Otherwise PSG would have still made a serious profit in his transfer to Al-Hilal. PSG signed him for a record price back then and I understand them about not wanting to lose him for free.

When it comes to Pogba I have heard news like his dope test came out positive for the Udinese - Juventus match. Is this really true? If it is then I can't believe that he really took that risk. He can't play very often due to getting injured too much already. This news will make his name be called even worse.

Pogba is really like he doesn't care anymore. This is harming Juventus obviously. They are paying him 10 million euros a year and he still has a contract until 2026.

Juventus should get rid of Pogba in the next transfer window. It would be for their own benefit honestly.

Group B is an easy one for Arsenal. They can even win all of their matches if they concentrate on all of them equally. They might be a young team now but they are still way more powerful than all of their opponents in this group. The only competition might be made by PSV against them but I think Arsenal wouldn't struggle against them too much either.

This feels like no different than a Europa League group honestly. I remember Arsenal and PSV in the same group there before.

When it comes to Sevilla's chance in this group I think they will finish behind PSV if they don't improve their current performance.

Bunun üzerine hem TFF başkanı hem de Kuntz abuk sabuk açıklamalarda bulundular. Kuntz'un en başta takımdan gönderilmesi lazım zaten ama Türk futbolunun da artık çok daha iyi yönetilmeye ihtiyacı olduğunu düşünüyorum.

Atletico Madrid would most probably part ways with Diego Simeone if they can't fight for the La Liga title once again. He is already in his last year on his contract. I'm just hyped about their start to the season for now. But I'm not confident of them to be successful at the end of the season on one hand.

Mason Greenwood has set sail for a new adventure with Getafe. It was the right thing to do for him because of Manchester United's leaving him out of squad. He is still very young and a talented player. If he plays regularly he can adapt again and we might see some good effort from him.

As for Barcelona we will see. Real Madrid are really assertive this season. We might see a title race until the end.  

Turkey really needed to make a change in their manager position especially after that poor performance against Armenia. Stefan Kuntz is leaving and he will probably be replaced by Abdullah Avci. The replacement would be good for them honestly. Because Abdullah Avci is a Turkish manager which they needed in the first place.

I believe it is better for national teams to have a manager who knows the players better and speaks the same language with them. This increase the chance of being a more successful team if that manager is a decent one in his job also. From now on we might see Turkey playing better in the remaining qualifier matches.

Oyunlarını geliştirmeye devam ettikleri sürece şampiyonluk yarışında kalabilirler. Manchester City şampiyonluğu erkenden garantilemeye oynayacaktır o yüzden Liverpool'un olabildiğince istikrarlı olması lazım.

3 goals and 1 assist in 3 matches from Kane... This is really a wonderful start for him to his Bayern Munich career. Truthfully I wasn't expecting him to score goals this comfortable in his first games. But as far as I have watched him so far it looks like he has a good relationship with his teammates.

It is good to see this situation despite Kane's not speaking German. I guess there isn't any communication issues as they can speak English as a common language.

It looks like Kane has found a teammate to make a duo as well - Sane. Just as he was with Son he can be the same with Sane here. I feel that after watching this duo in the matches so far.

If Italy fail in qualifying for Euro 2024 as well it would be a huge disappointment for the fans. Spalletti has taken over the job after Mancini left. Spalletti had a wonderful season in the Serie A with Napoli as you can remember. That was hell of a dominant season. As he is Italian and he is very familiar with Italian players also I think this is a really sensible choice for the job.

But the expectations will be really high from Spalletti. Because this team couldn't qualify for the last World Cup by a shocking loss against a weak team like North Macedonia. They got a draw this time against the same team. But I believe in Spalletti to make improvement and qualify for Euro 2024 firstly.

Atletico Madrid haven't made much change in their squad for this season. This is a usual thing for Atletico Madrid so I'm not surprised with that. However they have still made a good progress compared to last season. Because this time Atletico Madrid started the season really strongly. Especially that win by 7-0 was brutal. 

Simeone is actually using his usual system so I guess it is related to the players now. They seem much more concentrated on their game at the beginning of the season. This is a really important thing for Atletico Madrid to keep up with Barcelona - Real Madrid duo this time.
