There will be a KDB restart at around 07:25 UTC (about 3 hours from now) just after the shift completes then.

NO Mining will be affected

It will be a longer than previous restart coz the restart must load a bit more than the full 5Nd worth of data for the web stats pages.
That currently goes back to early June.

As usual, during a restart, the web site shows losta zeros and '?' until it completes.

You wont see any obvious changes with this update, but it does actually include all the new accounting code.
I'm (slowly) working my way though the almost 5000 transactions on the pool since it started (I'm well past half way) and testing/adjusting the code to handle all the manual changes I've done over the years to the payouts at the request of people for address changes, dust, other such things, and bonuses etc also.

Putting this live allows me to fix problems people have caused (some unintentionally and some intentionally) and make sure others can't cause them also while I work though finishing this off.
Restart completed and running fine.
Seems I've been working hard on the code over the last year ... it took less than 5 mins to run from start to complete ... though I must admit I've done so many changes over that time I can't remember what could have sped it up that much Smiley
(07:39:03 to 07:43:58)

does this mean dust will pay out now? and is that going forward or does it include historical? sorry for the questions - I am not able to log into my account any more so I can not look for myself.

Hi,

I have 4 Apollo heavily undervolted and undercloked. They are running now at 507 MHz, 341 MHs and 295 w. consuption with Titanium PSU (efficiency 0,8634 w/MHs). CUSTOM mode.

Maybe you want to try this Wink

PD: Nice review and photos.

is that per each one? or you do mean for all 4 combined right? so about 85 mh/s each?

4. Automatically Search AntMiners in IP Range And Add In Database (Automatically Detect Miner Type(Model))
5. Error, High-Temperature Detect
6. AutoMail System When Error/Warning Detected
7. AJAX Refresh System (Without Whole Page Reload)
8. Authorization System

And others,

Also here is promo video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=i8jd1ECWfM4

If anyone interested to buy this I have a demo version and can show.

is there a way to get AM to read the wallets in a pool? like in ViaBTC? I am mining several coins there - I do withdraw periodically to a hardware wallet but I would like to see the balances in AM but when I add the wallet for any of the coins I am mining, it always reports a zero balance.
The coins are most likely not on the public blockchain so it isn't possible to monitor the balance unless the pool provides some kind of interface (API) where the balance can be requested. These API's are typically unique per pool so there are unfortunately no universal solution to this.

gotcha.
7905  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Suggestions for a newby with free electricity! on: August 26, 2019, 10:38:08 AM

You still save more if you would use original firmware. Reduces your power usage with asicboost and increases hashing speed. 2% from for example 18th = 0.9TH is for hive. Do you know is there any firmware without dev fee for Antminer s9?

yep - manufacturer firmware has none.

You shouldn't trust this pool... as far as I can tell, it's been flying without a pilot for months.

agreed - but as long as it is paying out, I will use it - just got to keep a close eye on it.

the only issue I have with the pool so far is that it does not accept my doge address for the MM - I know the address is valid as I drop Doge in it from ViaBTC MM all the time and it works just fine.

after half an hour of searching I found this:

Hi,
Try x:DOGE_ADDRESS - put x: infort of your doge address. if it is not working again, please PM me both LTC and doge address. i will process all doge payouts manually.
Best
Loshia

this worked now says "self" for MM but with OP MIA - makes me wonder how long we can trust this pool to stay up and and keep paying people.

Three at least - regular, wife and mobile.

yea - lol 3 is 2 too many for me. One account is enough for me - though I understand why he has the mobile account - so that he never uses the main account outside of his house, he's said as much.

Me and the whole community will be more than happy to expose the scammers don't get me wrong.
But instead of calling every new member a scammer, we can just simply request things like escrow, proofs of ownership and if they are scammers, none of them will come back to the forum, because none of them will provide proof of ownership or accept escrow.
I know it may be little bit more writing but it is way more tolerate and in the same way filtering the scammers from the new members who actually trying to make their way to the community.

maybe you missed Phil's response - that same email address has been used for numerous posts here - always with different forum accounts and no one has ever been able to actually buy a miner from them - at least no one has posted that they have gotten one from them.
7914  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Suggestions for a newby with free electricity! on: August 23, 2019, 01:28:08 PM
Yeah, it makes sense to buy an ASIC if electricity is cheap.
Have you seen a BTC course?
Just take care of mining OS and quality firmware. This will actually simplify the work, and let you squeeze more out of asic.
Use hiveon ASIC or smth like that
Bitmain is locking down latest asics, so not possible to install hiveos on them. But they do have great software for the Antminer S9 i did a review on my channel.

the only thing I dont like about HiveOS is the dev fee's Seems to me that most of any gains made using custom firmware is lost when you have to give them a percentage of all your profits vs a percentage of the gains.

7916  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] FutureBit Project Apollo: Bringing ASIC Mining Back to the Home Miner! on: August 22, 2019, 12:08:27 PM
Anyone recently receive theirs?  Ordered mine in July before it was sold out.  Was told it would ship out last week.  Never received tracking information.  Inquired about it on Monday, said I would get a tracking number in a few hours, received a tracking number but it's still in pre-shipment, hasn't moved since Monday.

I ordered mine June 21st and received it August 15th. mine was showing pre-shipment up until about an hour before it was delivered.
7917  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Suggestions for a newby with free electricity! on: August 21, 2019, 02:05:59 PM
Maybe it's GPU mining that I've heard isn't profitable anymore, but I've seen videos on Youtube of miners giving up on ASICs as well.  Could be that their electricity isn't free, however.

OP, whatever you decide to do, it'd be good if you updated this thread and let us know how you're making out.  I know I'm curious as to whether you're going to turn a profit.  Good luck, bro.

oh for sure, some that pay 12 cents or more are definitely shutting down. I was close to that point when BTC was in the 3k range - I was barely in the black and my electric is 5 cents.
7918  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Suggestions for a newby with free electricity! on: August 21, 2019, 01:32:27 PM
For people who do argue between ASIC and GPU, it doesnt really matter yet we are talking free electricity here and neither way you would always be profitable excluding the talks on resale value or future use.The question is,on where on this world do have that free thing?  Grin

true lol all miners need free electricity... could you imagine the difficulty if electricity for all was free?

not really worried about the power consumption on my end. rather have more speed but any more than eco mode and my wife will make me move it out of the house and into the mining building lol and the whole point was to have it on my desk.

I will have a GekkoScience Terminus R606 on the other corner of my desk. Two truly indoor/in house/in room miners.

4 days in now, no issues still holding at a steady 101.5 to 104 Mh/s - though I do tend to remote into the network and kick it up to turbo when nobody is at home Smiley
