Bump looking for this again.

what exactly are you needing? you ship it to someone and they reship it for you? are they reshipping at their expense and waiting for you to reimburse?
That is correct. I'm perfectly fine with paying upfront if that's what is requested (provided that the person is trusted enough).

ok - I have to ask the obvious - why are you unable to ship directly? If the pay is worth it, I would not mind doing for you.
I'm not located within the states and its pretty hard for me to find my size around here for a good price.

and they wont ship directly to you? if so, that sucks.

7084  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Official FutureBit Apollo LTC Image and Support thread on: April 22, 2020, 05:10:59 PM
edit - removed my prior question posted in this comment due to my own dumbass figuring it out lol

but I have a new question - if I already run a litecoin node via the litecoin core

can this essentially replace that? or would it be in addition to? I guess what i mean is that i currently use my existing node as both node and wallet - I wont need to run both after I upgrade the apollo to do this, right?

This initial release only has full node functionality. We haven't enabled the wallet yet as it requires some additional security hardening. Nothing wrong with running more nodes though....each node usually connects to random other nodes, so the more nodes you run the more you strengthen the network.

ok. so dont delete my other node just yet lol

if the roi was closer to 10 months, I might be interested. I try to keep the roi range to around 10-12 months because most of these type of coins just continue to lose value vs gaining value.
7087  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: [Batch 3] FutureBit Apollo LTC Official Order Thread on: April 22, 2020, 04:39:11 AM
still confusing as hell at first glance lol.
7088  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: [Batch 3] FutureBit Apollo LTC Official Order Thread on: April 22, 2020, 03:12:42 AM
confused - why was the thread title renamed to say batch three? why not a new thread? IMO batch 2 thread should have stayed just that, a batch 2 thread. a lot less confusion then.

I recently shut down my apollo pod in the dashboard console, upon attempting to restart the front led stays solid red. Fans were running no problem, connected via ethernet, no isses at all before this. Did not unplug or hard reset miner... Any ideas or suggestions?

i had similar - just reflashed the card and rebooted it just fine.
7090  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: FusionSilicon on: April 20, 2020, 02:26:43 PM
I do notice that the .com has a disclaimer that pops up when opening the site that states:

Quote
Careful Warning
1. 1. The only official website of Shenzhen FusionSilicon semiconductor co., Ltd is www.fusionsilicon.com. It is also the only official sales site for the miner. Recently, customers reported that www.fusionsilicon.org and www.fusionsilicon.tech fake miner sales site, and leave official sales phone. Please identify carefully, be careful not to be cheated!

2. In addition, the initial login password of the mining machine web page is: fusion

3. Please receive the products from our company, open the box inspection, if you encounter the following circumstances, please contact our sales staff, according to the original package returned, we will replace the new machine for you free
Check if the force plate has deviated from the frame slot, it is inclined
Fan of the product, calculating if there is any apparent transport damage to the connecting seat of the force plate
Pick up the product and shake it a few times and listen to the noise of a foreign body in the frame
Power on the power supply without connecting the product to verify that the fan of the power supply is functioning properly
Product connection power on, if the power fan does not turn, do not replace the power supply, detach the machine

Statement: when the above conditions occur, do not remove the machine, otherwise you will lose free warranty eligibility. Freight description: according to the manufacturer shipping time began to calculate, non-artificial within 10 days (except for the use of non-manufacturer incidental power supply) caused by the quality problems can be replaced for free, back and forth freight costs each bear half, do not receive the delivery; More than 10 days after the quality problems occurred in the back and forth freight costs are borne by the user, do not receive the delivery. Thank You for Your Cooperation!

if the .com is the official site, then the .tech one is the fake one. They both look legit, I wonder how much fiat/crypto gets scammed here.
7091  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Can I mine from my pc? on: April 20, 2020, 02:13:55 PM

I still think this should be in alt coins not btc.

agreed. All the options I gave him are actually mining alt's that get paid out as btc - not really mining btc

7095  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / FusionSilicon on: April 20, 2020, 12:18:45 AM
can anyone who has purchased from FusionSilicon as to their actual official website? There are so many scam sites out there, it can be often hard to tell.

https://fusionsilicon.tech/

or

http://www.fusionsilicon.com/

I have searched the forums but find very few posts concerning them - only found one post mentioning the .com one and none concerning the .tech one.
7096  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Pools (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] ►►►►► AKAROS LITECOIN POOL ◄◄◄◄◄ EU+US+SG 110% payments! LTC+DOGE on: April 19, 2020, 06:53:08 PM
You may need to clarify - your reward system is PPLNS not PPS - you achieve the estimated 110% due to merged mining. however having only found 1 block since January and it was orphaned, essentially no blocks then - you will be far below 100% on your first block, as people may have put in 4 months worth of mining with zero reward.
7097  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: WTB: S19 Pro on: April 19, 2020, 06:01:46 PM
but some countries are restricted and I asked Bitmain until when and why is that, their answer was just:

"We are sorry, orders are restricted for some countries."
generic bullshit answer is what they gave you.
7098  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: WTB: S19 Pro on: April 19, 2020, 02:20:06 PM
and you do know you can go to bitmain right now and order one right?

+1

But Bitmain restricted orders to some countries (Serbia for example).

ah kinda like when they started selling the S19 versions months ago to China only?
7099  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Official FutureBit Apollo LTC Image and Support thread on: April 19, 2020, 02:18:42 PM

you could use nicehash which will mine alt coins and pay you in btc
https://www.nicehash.com/?refby=e1ddd131-b68f-44f6-a6db-fd92f939dfd6

you could use cudo miner which will also mine alt coins and pay you in btc
https://www.cudominer.com/?a=_oqx3vf5e - if you use my referral, we both get a bonus once you mine (I think) 5,000 sats

you could use awesome miner - its a mining rig manager but it can easily configure your gpu and cpu to mine - I think 2 devices (1 cpu and 1 gpu) would be free to use with Awesome Miner
https://www.awesomeminer.com/

you could use brave browser - it pays in BAT once per month, which you can convert to BTC
https://brave.com/download/

now as others have said, with a single gpu, this will not be profitable but if you want to learn something about mining, any of the above should be helpful to start with.
