DWS (Dynamic Whale Staking)Potentially gain 40% interest on your coins right now by staking them for one yearWith mining, I have to make sure the miners stay updated and are running 24/7, I have to pay for electricity Similar with a masternode, it has to stay updated and run 24/7, and I have to pay for a server Staking, you just burn the coins and relax! https://wiki.biblepay.org/DWS_Setup

pal#3989 from BiblePay Discord says: "From a tech perspective, how does BBP beat other Dash forks, or has any advantages over Dash itself?"
"So essentially this is a Dash clone with additional functionality linked to religion charity and science?"
"Not that many Dash forks can have chainlocks, it is quite complicated to do, how did BBP manage LLMQ based chainlocks? how many quoram BBP has now?"
"The prayers I see from my wallet, are these prayers real time? like when people send coins, they enter this prayer request or how it works?" = "What is BiblePay? BiblePay website was updated https://www.biblepay.org/Rob upgraded PHP to 7.0, a few plugins were disabled to help improve speed, Rob did some analysis and I edited front page (removed layerslider and coinmarketcap widget) Any and all feedback welcome! I still need to go through and review each page, tackling page load times was the first priority

I updated the front page of the website, the menu and a few other pages, if anyone sees other edits that need to be made, or has feedback, let me know! http://biblepay.org/(The main viewed pages are the front page, the wallet page and the mining page) = Rob, I think you own the server the website is on? Ive noticed that the wordpress admin page has been really sluggish the past few weeks (and wordpress sometimes loses connection when trying to edit) Do you think the server is getting overloaded? Ive also been getting a popup to confirm the main email address but keep skipping it, I also noticed that PHP needs to be mandatory upgraded If you have the time to look into this please do! = We also need to tackle the high page load times https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2388064.msg52722797#msg52722797I dont know if we need to optimize images, remove certain plugins, or if its the server, or wordpress, or some combination or something else, any help from anyone is appreciated! I havent dived in yet, but will soon The wordpress site is the only site left running on our web host company (but its the only thing on the box, wiki.biblepay.org is on a different server). Im pretty sure the problem is one of the many plugins added back when the first expirimental version was being developed - I think Tom added a bunch of plugins to try to get various things to work in an easier way than editing the wordpress sections. First could you try deleting any unused plugin. Then if its still a problem come back and ask me to jump in and Ill move the server to the higher powered servers that we have access to the linux OS on. Id rather do that as a last resort because that involves moving all of the development scripts that allow downloading biblepay and uploading biblepay binaries. Thanks Rob, Creating a backup file of the site now, then Ill start testing disabling unused plugins, etc Im also googling articles to help get more insight 17 Ways To Fix A Slow WordPress Admin Panel https://onlinemediamasters.com/slow-wordpress-admin-panel/

Isnt the orphan sponsorship issue just a temporary issue? My understanding is that currently 13% of all coins each month (35% of the 38% going to generic smart contracts) goes to POOM (Proof of Orphan Mining) [Charity] = What is the backstory?, starting out Rob directly got the 10% each month to donate to charities, then when masternodes went live 5 months later, the funds had to be obtained through writing a proposal and being voted yes, I remember Rob was interested in a Director of Charity Integration role: https://www.reddit.com/r/BiblePay/comments/7mj66u/hiring_for_director_of_charity_integration/I believe Jaap helped out with this but I believe Rob still managed most of the charity donating, and then later I think some charities did their own proposal creating and handling of BBP coins POOM was an attempt to try to decentralize the process more? Where the user themselves would fund the charity directly and then slowly get repaid back in BBP coins every day? I never tested POOM and havent kept up to date. I believe the built-in incentive with POOM is that if theres a low amount of donating happening, the people currently donating get more BBP coins? But doesnt POOM require more work from the charities? References: https://wiki.biblepay.org/POOMhttps://wiki.biblepay.org/Paying_For_a_POOM_Sponsored_Childhttps://whitewalr.us/2019/biblepay-cameroonone-partnership.htmlhttps://whitewalr.us/2019/cameroonone-poom-charity-donation.htmlThe crypto bear market hasnt helped this at all, weve had to continually lower our orphan sponsorships I was totally fine with all the past ways charity has been done with BiblePay, I know a few people have complained, but as long as the charities get donated to Im happy

Does anybody know the status of the Biblepay pool? I will need to do some CPU mining to get the stake funds necessary for PODC 2.0. Thanks!
It looks like its up, have you switched over to nomp? http://nomp.biblepay.orgNo I have not, my config file still points to pool.biblepay.org. Will that work or should I switch over? I believe only the new external miner works with the NOMP pools, with the just wallet you can only solo mine, Please anyone correct me if Im mistaken https://wiki.biblepay.org/POBH_Setup

The original guide explains coin*age https://wiki.biblepay.org/PODCThe guide I've been working on doesn't, just added it in, please review https://wiki.biblepay.org/PODC_Setup#PART_H:_Calculate_StakingI dont think it really changes the calculation since PODC is a daily thing and you need that many coins aged 1 day, But it does affect starting out, because you have to wait a whole day for newly acquired/boughten coins to age to get the full reward I believe the reasoning behind coin*age is to combat staking abuse (Using the same coins for multiple stakes, for example, in the past, 2 or 3 of us could get together and pass 1 million BBP around in a circle every day and each of us could use those same coins for our staking requirement, not saying I did this, just showing as an example)
