81  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Related Crimes Surge on: October 26, 2018, 03:58:56 AM
Bitcoins anonymous transaction is the major cause of crime related to bitcoins.

bitcoin transactions are not anonymous.
and this has nothing to do with it either.

most of the times it is all about idiocy of people. for example the idiot who wanted to sell his bitcoin off the market and made an arrangement with a random shady person on the Internet whom he met in a secluded place where the perp guides him towards an alley with their car parked when they rob him has nothing to do with bitcoin! he might have been doing any other trade this way and gotten robbed the same way.

I agree with you on this. The trade could be illegal in the first place.
We should be very careful in dealing with strangers online.
We don't know everybody's motives and scumbags are just lurking everywhere.

These people who have malicious intents are really doing their very best
to persuade someone and become their victim.
We all should be vigilant in these kinds of illegal transactions to stop
these criminals from endangering other people's lives not only to those who are
holding bitcoins but also to the innocent people who are still planning to engage
themselves into crypto space.
82  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Thought of Satoshi Nakamoto- Agreed?? on: October 24, 2018, 02:32:53 AM
I agree with satoshi. Those who have doubts about bitcoin in the first place for sure regret that they just ignored the technology that satoshi offered and introduced. There's no need for him to fully ellaborate the technology for it's very hard to comprehend technically to someone that is not interested about it.

After few years the usefulness and benefits of this technology slowly sinks in to those skeptic and narrow minded haters and eventually some were converted and even invested into crypto for future profits.

This technology is not that easy to comprehend if your not really sparing much of your time understanding everything.
83  Economy / Exchanges / Re: DECENTRALIZED EXCHANGES: why we need decentralization? on: October 24, 2018, 02:27:06 AM
A decentralized system is more secure so its much better if we have one exchange that is not controlled by a single entity. Fraud is rampant in a centralized system that's why satoshi created this blockchain technology to correct the errors of a centralized system and might as well eliminate fraud caused by people.

We are moving forward to the digital future and there will be more hacking incidents that will happen and for us to avoid those we need more decentralized system of exchanges for our own security.
84  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Social Media to Crypto on: October 24, 2018, 02:17:48 AM
What are your thoughts on these 2 factors when it comes to Bitcoin and other cryptos.

1. How does Social Media effect Cryptocurrency?
Social medias play vital role in spreading the name out of crypto to the public. As we all know every individual now is already hooked up with social media. Social media can give both positive and negative impact to cryptocurrency due to its network. It is visible to everyone and people are really into social media news.
2. How does Cryptocurrency effect Social Media?
The effec of cryptocurrency to social media is the proceeds that they can receive from marketing crypto using social media. It can also attract a large number of investors to the platform.
Your thoughts on both , this could be very interesting.
Both can help build the name and destroy the name of crypto as well. As a speculator on these two major inventions, its up to us to have a thorough research on whether the information that we can read on social media is true or not. Since nowadays, social media is used not to tell the truth but to influence people both good or bad about something.
85  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: first term "HODL" on: October 22, 2018, 03:25:19 PM
I think that the main rule is not to be a panicseller. If the price of Bitcoin or other cryptocurrency increased, this does not mean that you need to go around. Hodl is more likely about panic situations in the market.

I agree with you on this. Since it can affect the market as a whole.

What I noticed during dips is that mostly those who do panic selling are newbies who doesn't believe in the technology.

They don't understand how the market work and they're too scared to lose some percentage of their investment.

86  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin, governments on: October 22, 2018, 03:21:34 PM
on a personal note, i do not think governments invest in bitcoins secretly because it's a decentralized peer to peer transaction with no central authority and also it can affect the country's fiscal policy, business and also help to facilitate crime rates.

I agree with you on this. The blockchain is transparent and can be viewed publicly. It would be a stupid decision to secretly store btc. They can't afford such mistake it will create chaos not only to the business sector but as well to the whole economy.

What do you mean by government?

I think there is news about how private politicians are investing millions in Bitcoin. If they manage to achieve legalization of cryptocurrency, then their capital will increase significantly

I guess some are doing it individually but not collectively as a government body. For it is against the laws. I bet there are lots of politicians taking advantage of the volatility of bitcoin.
87  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Evolution on: October 21, 2018, 12:10:32 PM
Hope that this evolution will lead to success specially there are some issues when it comes to its scalability. As adoption rises we are also nearing to face those issues. Hope there's a remedy for those issues in the near future or we will just cross the bridge when we reach there. I know that it will still took years to face those issues depending on the demand and adoption of the society.
88  Other / Off-topic / Re: If we all live in a virtual world, will bitcoin become its official currency? on: October 20, 2018, 08:05:37 AM
No one can really tell what will happen in the future. Bitcoin has scalability issues and if its widely used, there would be some problems with network congestion. I guess bitcoin will remain a good store of value just like gold because of its scarcity its value will always increase together with its mining difficulty.

There will be a new crypto that will represent or be widely used in online transactions.

FIAT on the other hand will always be there since every monetary unit represents a country's exchange for goods and services and there are also some remote areas that has no access to new technologies like crypto.
89  Economy / Economics / Re: Breaking: Harvard, Stanford, & MIT Have All Invested in Cryptocurrency Funds on: October 20, 2018, 02:14:22 AM
Smart individuals are running these schools and they do believe in the technology. This news would definitely entice some other people to be part of the crypto space as well. The adoptiong will be widely spread if most of the universities worldwide will be knowledgeable about cryptocurrency. This is our future of technology so we should embrace it wholeheartedly for our own convenience in the near future.
90  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is Facebook against Bitcoin? on: October 19, 2018, 09:41:33 PM
I guess Mark Zuckerberg is planning to promote his own crypto. As we all know that there are lots of money involve if Facebook is gonna tokenize every products and services that they offer online. There's a very high possibility of success since Facebook has already build a name and there's no need to pay for advertisements online. I guess this is one of the main reasons why Mark is banning paid crypto ads in Facebook. This is just my own opinion though since Mark is a businessman and he won't let this opportunity to make a single dime out of this awesome technology pass.

I'm surprised that there isn't news about this already....I would think it has been discussed

If you just understand carefully what I posted then you wouldn't be asking for any news about it. It was just my honest opinion that he might be promoting his own crypto that's why he doesn't want any paid ads running in Facebook. Wink

Do you know that just a single post can turn things around for your good.
Therefore, take a step at a time.

Patience is the key. Everything happens for a reason. If we rush on ranking up the more it can frustrate us and do spamming which could lead banning our accounts. Everything has its perfect timing.  Grin

So those numbers above are the winners?
Winners last digit of the has of 546195 blocks. And Hash of 546195 blocks is https://www.blockchain.com/btc/block/000000000000000000228713a85eb04526ba176d87ff7ae35bf46cdd24536d56 so, who has taken number 6, is the winner.

Okay. Thanks!
