this is where you guys are hiding got a ping from LucD and thought i stop by and say hey " hey " Haha awesome, good seeing you around here! I can confirm that the hard fork has been a complete success.
Difficulty has been adjusting like clockwork since the fork which means we will be a little less exposed to miners taking advantage of slow diff changes and dumping into the market.
Old versions of the wallet have been kicked from the network too.
I'll be writing another update in the next 24 hours or so to outline our next steps.
Awesome, things looking good! I see the Throne count has been steadily increasing as well.

I remember that Darkcoin had a few incidents back in the day where people were running cpu-miners and later on gpu miners on the victims machines. For instance see this reddit post about a cpu miner back in 2014: https://www.reddit.com/r/sysadmin/comments/28klfl/disguised_mining_process_using_up_99_cpu_on/I made a really quick google search for malicious gpu mining on gaming rigs, but I did not find what I was looking for. Maybe others remember this. People were installing some popular game, but in the background, they were mining darkcoin at the same time on their beefy gaming rigs. So yes, all coins have this "misfortune", but anyone can install a piece of software and start mining on a pool, it's not that hard really. Today it might not happen with Dash due to asics and high difficulties, but still sometimes people come up with the clever idea of cpu-mining bitcoin so you never know.... I think it was one of the GTA games? I'm not sure if that was ever proven or just a rumor. Can't remember. yes gta 5 nicely cracked with miner hidden This is what you're both referring to: https://biersteker.tweakblogs.net/blog/11915/hidden-cryptominers-in-game-torrents

... Guys, you have to understand.. Every exchange we get listed on, is an exchange.. is more exposure.. is new users.. So for that 0.1 BTC, it is well spend imo.. Bittrex and poloniex both have a listings criteria.. I don't think we can apply for that.. But I will of course try.. I agree, as long as YoShit isn't the ONLY exchange PIO is traded on. By the way, according to Bittrex' Submit-a-Coin page: "Given the demand for currency launches, we limit ourselves to only a handful a week. Launching is free and at our discretion." "We also cannot list currencies that would be construed as a security such as digital currencies that promise/market profits or represent shares of a company." Not sure if exactly that goes for PIO, guess we'll only find out by trying to submit?

...
Allright good to know. But will the shares give you dividends on the profits made on the platform?
That will be the case on the BlockPioneers Exchange, which is, obviously, still under development. So no, you won't get that on 'regular' exchanges like Bittrex, Poloniex, YoShit, etc.

Whats the latest on that 30k moved to dao?
It's a bit vague to me as well. Poloniex told me they'll be delisting DAO anytime soon, but they can't give a time indication yet. Wondering why the price keeps on going..

Thanks for the sentiment. These new trolls don't even put any effort into it anymore! They could at least try to vary it, maybe make it humorous, try something. Now it's just posting the same stuff on multiple threads.
I sometimes wonder if they're humans, or fully automated bots that post utter nonsense..

You can rent Dagger-Hashimoto rigs and point them to one of the "classic" pools.
Yeah, www.nicehash.com has nice rigs as well.

Congratulations DASH team for the good work done this past months. This rise in value is because of certain individuals (we all know the names) coding, promoting, testing, negotiating, doing great debates in the DASH forums... and selling soda of course Enjoy our sucess. This is just the beggining That's how it is exactly!
