I don't expect any significant crash until closer to the halving. This could be the first move up before a much bigger move in a few months time.

I don't consider bitcoin to be a replacement to the current fiat system per se, although I think it is a fantastic store of value (I view it like a commodity).

We could see a double top, but I would be very surprised to see it go much higher. 2016 will be one hell of a year for BTC, I predict.

The block reward halving will definitely be an interesting factor in stirring some hype/ media attention around BTC. I predict a lot more volume flowing over from FX and hopefully some more adoption from companies.

I've been using a trezor for around 6 months now. As long as you keep your seed passphrase, you will be fine.

Bitcoin volume is increasing in most countries. I think it will only take an economic event such as another Cyprus for the price to moon. Also, don't forget about the halving next year.

I'm pretty confident that we will go below $300. Although I agree that IF it stays above $300, that is a good sign.

That would be nice, but I very much doubt it. I would be surprised if BTC broke $1000 during the halving next year.

It is already over $350 on Huobi. I personally feel like this is the top, or there isn't enough upward potential to warrant a long (risk v reward).

i will be glad if the price of bitcoins will reach to about 1000 dollar by the year 2020.
honestly ~1000 seems like a pretty realistic number, anyone that thinks bitcoin is gna be worth 10000+ is just daydreaming. bitcoins price is a reflection of how much its being used and for it to go up that much the usage has to increase by a shit ton. I agree, $1,000 seems about on mark. That will be around the time of the next halving as well. |

We'll see an increase because a lot of people will fall for the hype. Although, I don't expect it to go x10 like last time. Something more modest like x3.

We need to stay above $300 first... But I don't expect much action until the halving. We'll probably be lingering in the same $220-$260 range.
