Okay.  I just answered for myself my earlier question about whether there will be a Mac native client.  There isn't, of course, but it looks like the client currently works just fine using CrossOver on a Mac.

The orderly wind-down of SealsWithClubs is a testament to how an ethically run poker site can instantly satisfy player obligations, even under adverse conditions, using the awesome power of bitcoin.

I was impressed by that in comparison to "legitimate" poker sites playing with "real" money that went down leaving players in the lurch.  (Fuck you Full Tilt.)

Will the PC software client be for both Windows and Mac ?

And if not, will there be any kind of flash client?

Limit games have a 4 bet cap when the action is multi-way and no cap when the action is heads up.

This is as it should be.  Too bad limit games have been kind of limited.

This Betcoin shit is absolute garbage compared to even nonexistent seals.  Great.  So there's a poker site where you can deposit money, try to join a game, and it just puts up this fucking bullshit "Waiting for money" window that then HANGS FOREVER AND DOES NOT DO SHIT.

Maybe they'd have more games going if you could actually JOIN THEM.

Fuck Betcoin.

Long live Seals.  I guess there will be an easy way to make sure your krill carries over?
87  Economy / Gambling / Re: SealsWithClubs.eu | Largest Bitcoin Poker Site | No Banking | Fast Cashouts on: February 21, 2015, 12:59:56 AM
RIP Seals. This was the reason I first purchased any bitcoin. Best of luck to Micon and I'll be joining the new site. Keep fighting the good fight.

RIP Seals.  Seals was the first way I ever got Bitcoin, fuck buying it!

Ran nothing up to 20 BTC in a couple months early on, starting with those cool 50 chip freerolls.  Remember when those popped off every hour or two?  Play was loose and soft back then.

RIP in peace.

What about people who were actively playiong when site went down?  I was able to cashout my balance that I did not have on a table, but the  800 chips that WERE on tables were not sent to me.  Emailed hdev and no reply.

Lets wait for someone else to confirm that. I won't believe your claim blindly.

Good thing no one asked you to, and it wasnt a question directed at you.

You posted on a public site, you brainless fucking idiot with a negative trust rating.

Considering you act like a complete asshole, I won't believe you either.
89  Economy / Gambling / Re: SealsWithClubs.eu | Largest Bitcoin Poker Site | No Banking | Fast Cashouts on: February 20, 2015, 04:03:37 PM
What about all those people with balances on bet?
90  Economy / Gambling / Re: SealsWithClubs.eu | Largest Bitcoin Poker Site | No Banking | Fast Cashouts on: February 19, 2015, 05:26:18 PM
They could do a better job of setting expectations about when they will be back, then i wouldn't have worn out the refresh button on twitter waiting for an update.

That's the main part that pisses me off.  I feel trolled.

I fully expected there to be legal problems at some point, which is looking like what happened.  Who knows, though, when we get nothing but bullshit from the site itself.

If you were the giant stack here... would you want the bubble to break?

No, and on a close call, that might be the overriding consideration.  Here, the hit you take by folding the BB rather than calling a negligible amount more is just too much to pay to keep the bubble going.  And actually doubling the guy is also a reasonable outcome, even if you have a shit hand.

So frankly I make that call all day long with any two cards, even with the bubble situation.

I can see you being a defendant in a civil rights case, given your liberal use of "retards" and the plural "you" and in your attacks.

You are the only sane person in your world, I assure you.

If you sincerely believe calling someone a retard for acting like a retard is actionable, I'll merely offer you're just displaying more of the abject ignorance of basic legal principles that has typified this whole fiasco.

You have lived up to your nickname and go promptly on ignore.

Even the best players get a hard time at PLO . It just depends on luck too much .

Not in the "long run" but the long run is longer, since hands run much closer in value, and you can even end up in weird situations like flopping the nuts and still being a dog in the hand (shit like nut straights without a redraw are always potential disasters).
94  Economy / Gambling / Re: SealsWithClubs.eu | Largest Bitcoin Poker Site | No Banking | Fast Cashouts on: January 10, 2015, 08:44:09 PM
If you want a no bot experience play PLO/pot limit omaha.  I think they will need quantum computers for that game.

What's deadly in PLO is collusion.  Someone (or a team) playing 3 hands at once and sharing hole cards is going to have an unbeatable advantage over a player who is not cheating.

3.  Brush242, or whatever - what's with the patois?  I take it you don't do much Civil Rights work.

I'd probably hire him for civil rights work myself. . .if I were the defendant.

Seriously, you fucking retards drove off someone who was giving good information.  Because you were personally hostile to its source.

Does anyone here even understand why that was a fucking stupid thing to do?

Am I the only sane person here?
96  Other / Meta / Re: Deleted posts in the Hardware BFL Thread, Double Standards, and Hypocrisy on: January 08, 2015, 02:26:41 PM
If there is any kind of lesson about this episode, it is that you idiots drove off someone who was providing useful content, based on nothing but moronic paranoia.

The result is that you should expect less content in the future, because anything remotely disagreeing with your weird circlejerk is going to result in dogpiles, doxings and other forms of idiocy.

You stupid fucks did everything from defend BFL (when you were stupid enough to invest in it despite wiser counsel) to turn full retard.

All the guy you doxed did was explain a legal ruling to you.  That apparently caused such cognitive dissonance that you utterly freaked out, doxed the guy, got the mods on you to delete your crap, and have since then acted like utter fucking idiots.

Rot in your stupidity.
97  Other / Meta / Re: Deleted posts in the Hardware BFL Thread, Double Standards, and Hypocrisy on: January 08, 2015, 02:21:15 PM
I would not be surprised if a lawyer sent a complaint to a moderator that included the words "or else" and several as per number dot number dot numbers.

This is utter madness.

Let me make a wild guess.  He just clicked the report button like anyone else could do.  And the off-topic flood of shit was deleted.  Just like it would be for anyone else.
98  Other / Meta / Re: Deleted posts in the Hardware BFL Thread, Double Standards, and Hypocrisy on: January 06, 2015, 08:47:43 AM
A load of bull-menure! The guy was deliberaty derailing the topic and deserved whatever he got.

He was discussing the standards for a preliminary injunction, which were directly relevant to the exact legal issues of the thread.  Some people didn't like the legal standards and, having no actual argument to the contrary, started spewing insults.  Then they spent pages doxing him for literally no fucking reason at all.

The derail was entirely on the people who insisted vociferously on being wrong and getting angry at anyone who actually discussed the topics based on facts and law.
99  Economy / Gambling / Re: SealsWithClubs.eu | Largest Bitcoin Poker Site | No Banking | Fast Cashouts on: January 06, 2015, 08:36:35 AM
I'd love to play some five card draw. Maybe not for high stakes but it would be fun to play for leisure. Five card draw, cribbage, and rummy are some of the first games I learned how to play. Also playing five card draw on the slots are really addicting. I'd definitely play some if it were implemented, I don't really remember the skill factor involved in it as it's been forever since I played but either way it will be fun.

Five card draw is almost pure skill and application of game theory (the long-ago Ankeny book is probably more or less optimal play for the game).  That actually makes it not terribly interesting, as bad players will rarely win and tend to go broke fast.  That's also why five card stud is basically dead.  NLHE has a lot of tolerance for people who routinely play dumb starting hands, but someone who continues in 5CS without at least an ace in the hole is going to go broke fast.

2-7 TD is still interesting, though again, it's a tricky game with skill predominating over luck, but not to as great an extent as, say, five card stud, which is virtually dead for that reason.

Used all accounts I have and not enough data to verify my age.

This shit is a fucking joke.  Next they'll want a goddamn blood sample.
