Greediness is one of the reasons people become addicted to gambling. Many people have luck of a beginner in gambling and they think it will always be so and become addicted to it as they cannot control their emotions.
Besides greediness, they never satisfy and never accepted that they cannot make a big winning in the gambling games and they continue to play the games. They played in every day, hope that they can win much money from gambling and risk all of their money just to expecting that in the next round, they will have their luck and help them to win the games. Slowly, they will turn into an addicted to gambling without they realize and because of chasing the money, they will lose all of the money. Aside from being greedy, they have no other form of entertainment in them, they made gambling a way of life even if they have no money, they will ask money from someone just to satisfy their urge to play. I have seen families that we're broken because father or mother is so much engaged in gambling that they will spend the whole night gambling. They wake up in the morning start the day with gambling.

Time magazine has selected 4 person/groups for the person of the year 2018 All were journalists or least related to a journalist
Jamal Kashogi The Guardians Maria Ressa Wives of Myanmar's Wa Lone and Kyaw Soe Oo
What I am not in favor of is Maria Ressa of Rappler, this online news portal's aim is to make money, they use exaggerated subject title to get the attention of readers and they are a known critic of the current president of the Philippines which is Rodrigo Duterte. At least among the favorites, there's one who we're selected which is Jamal Kashogi.
The result was both unexpected and potentially controversial for some people. Have you seen however the choice explaining video? Thanks for the link. I watched the 5 minute video about the people who we're selected as Times Person of the Year. I agree with the freedom of speech but I also support "responsible journalism". I don't have the back ground of the other selected Person of the Year awardee, but with regards to Maria Ressa of Rappler, she and her company is not practicing "responsible journalism". They hide behind the "freedom of speech" but their reports will just benefit those who are against the Philippine government. They focus on the negative but don't give media mileage on the projects that the goverment was able to finish on time and projects the benefits a lot of people.

Sometimes we have to sell at loss price to gain more on another investment. I remember the time when ANTS was changed to NEO, ETH is not doing well at that time so I decided to sell at loss to buy more ANTS in anticipation of renaming the project to NEO and my move was rewarded with almost 200%. Trading without losses is impossible, out of 10 trades, you will at least encounter a loss and it cannot be avoided.

In gambling there is no such thing as a winning strategy or a trick so that you win and bring the house down. What you need to win in gambling is nothing but discipline. If you won or gained profits, learn to stop and take away the profits with you. If you continue to play you might loose everything including your capital so better learn when to stop when needed.

I cant understand people who are addicted in gambling what do they want in life? To win huge amount of money and become rich? Well this not gonna happen even if they gamble for the rest of their lives they will never become rich in this vice it will even make you a beggar after a months of gambling I know to others its just for fun but to some its an addiction.
I guess its human nature that when you start winning, you think you can continue winning till you drop, in other words greed. Those who got rich in gambling are those who are disciplined enough to know when to start and when to stop gambling. Discipline is the key to have fun in gambling, if you don't have discipline, you will end up with no money anymore.

If you open dice site, roulette, or any other lucky based game, and for example you bet just on odd numbers its some kind of strategy. You can bet two times on red, one on black, two times over 51 one time under 49, there are many strategies in luck based games. Luck based games are just patterns, to win you need to use right pattern in the right time, everything can be worked out to be strategy, and my experience tells me that you need to be flexible and to change the way you play as much as you can, that gives us more chance to win.
You can adjust the percentage or chance of winning in your favor but the problem with adjusting the chances to your favor will also decrease the pot money. Those who has a lot of time do this and they will just around and hit roll and win. Maybe out of 10 bets in dice sites, you can win 8-9 times granting that you adjusted the chance of winning.

If what OP means is in long term we cannot win in gambling, He is kinda right. Maybe we can win 4 of out of our 10 bets and even if we say we win 8 out of 10 bets that we made, casino still wins. maybe you we're able to win today but what about tomorrow or the next day. Luck will run out eventually so better if you are already in a winning streak, stop and take your profits with you. Come back another day.

Losing is normal because it is part for you to become professional trader someday. When I was beginner in tha trading world, I also lose many times but I didn't stop to study and research for me to correct all of my mistakes.
Actually even if you continue to study and learn, you will still suffer from losses and this is not exclusive to those who are new in crypto currency trading. I have seen experienced traders suffer losses because of negative news and price manipulations but they we're able to control their emotions as they we're thought how to do it and when to do it. It's still a matter of applying what you learned.

The first bet that I mad online is using planetofbets. I don't know if the site is still up but I use their site because they we're able to list the basketball games in our country, both professional, collegiate and amateur. I switched to other platforms like Betcoin.ag but after reading numerous negative feedback I switched to another site which is Nitrogensports. But recently I found Onehash and never looked at another online betting site.

This is actually Mauricio Rua's 3rd straight appearance at a UFC Fight Night event. He won 2 of the 3 events.

I still don't see a reason why there will be a bull run aside from patterns from previous years and some fearless forecasts. If there will be a bull run anytime soon, there should be something that will trigger the bull run and not just some prediction from analysts wannabes and not from those who looks from the past movement of Bitcoin.

I guess that one is already settled and Mayweather paid around $600,000 USD and additional $150,000 for DJ Khaled. That amount of $750,000 USD I guess is nothing compared to what he earned in promoting those ICO's. That guy (Mayweather) will not settle anything for less than 1 Million USD for him to promote.

Never thought that gambling is a waste of time, maybe to others who has a lot of things on their plate and has no time to go to a casino or log-in to an online casino its a waste of time for them but for me, going to a casino is a stress reliever. As long as you don't steal money to gamble or hurt anyone go ahead, its your money, you decide what to do with it.

I heard most of the miners are shutting down their gigs, Is it true? So, Is this the end of Bitcoin? There was an article about miners in China shutting down their rigs and this has nothing to do with cost of electricity or difficulty, but this is more on the equipment itself reaching the lifespan where it needs to be shut down or replaced or else maintenance of such equipment will be more expensive.

I have a sticker of Bitcoin logo at my rear windshield and my email address with the word Bitcoin also at my rear windshield. Sometimes I show to my friends how easy it is to buy item online specially those prepaid loads for our mobile phones. My friend who was with me when I was in Singapore last month was surprised that I can easily transfer funds even when I am not at my home country and withdraw anywhere in the world with minimal fees.

I will not aim for 10% daily because aiming that high is very risky. Imagine the risk that you are taking if you are already at 8% profits and yet you are still not selling because you think the price will continue to go up and then suddenly the price dropped and from +8% your coin is worth -5%. That's why I would mind earning 2% per day as long I don't get a negative or suffer a loss.

Can we call it a success if 7 out of 10 people knows about Bitcoin or Blockchain? But can we still call it a success if those 7 who knows about Bitcoin only know Bitcoin because of scams and other illegal schemes where Bitcoin was used. I think we can say it is a success if people starts using Bitcoins in their everyday lives and not just store it in their wallets and wait for the price to hit their goal to sell and gain profits.
