Hi Received my 2 extra h cards on monday, pluged them in and they have been hashing fine at about 30Ghs each, that is untill this happend just now So what is the procedure to get a card replaced ? I think I see pencil on the R02F. That voids the warranty

Is there any danger i I get 2 separate psu and connect each to one of the PCIE connectors?
I did this with a gpu rig back in the day, read some warnings about it.. but worked out ok for me. I however have no clue how it'd work here.

Could I get a moderator to update my avatar, please ?

Could this be because they don't get enough power? .... damn should i change PSU? Im absolutly unsure where to start ...
Eliminating variables has been the biggest difficulty for me all along too. Sadly I dont have any good advice to give on that.

Do you got all banks filled ? ...
How about the other banks ...
That is the only full bank I have, the remaining ones have 3-2 cards.

Can you please post the log file of these chips? It would be helpful to mod the chainminer software. Also what voltage are the cards at? Thanks

I dont/wont measure voltages, as it requires disassembly and has the accompanied risk of breaking stuff, I dont have very steady hands, sorry. The resistances on R02F's vary between 1.67-1.62k Ohm.

direct rainfall on the ring
You really need to watch for direct rainfall on your ring. Typo fixed

as for 3 slots per bank, i beleive its related to the 30A limit of a texas instruments chip mentioned by intron a while back. Its got 10-14 pins and there is 1 per bank. Most likely it simply cannot handle more then 3 overclocked cards or 4 cards at 25GH
I'd like report the contrary, this is my most stable bank:

Not much to look at, but pulls a steady 450Ghs overclocked. Within the sea of fans is a bitfury m-board with 12 h-cards plugged in. Disclamer: the images contain a shameless attempt of marketing somewhat unrelated goods. Behind the rig is an open window, the ups cardboard is in place to prevent direct rainfall on the rig should winds blow in the exactly right direction at massive force.

Since I filled each slot in my miner I'm having also ... problems to maintain ... hashrate of each board over 30 GH ... I'm unsure if it's because of the heat ... or the heatsinks ... that are blocking airflow, ... a PSU issue? .... some how I've some boards that work on one slot better then on an other one ... does anyone has a good approach how to get ... the best postitions ... ^^
also I'm seeking good heatsinks ... for the regulator part the arctic cooling stuff is to big ... something around 5 mm ...
Part of the problem for me atlest is the undisputable fact that some of my boards require different cooling than others. The rev 1 boards do have problems starting up when too cool. Before someone goes a head and dismisses this as absurd or tries to refute my point: stick one rev 1 board in the freezer, untill it's at 0c and see if it starts mining at anything above 8Ghs. My current physical setup has the capability of feeding sub zero celcius air to the fans during nights... and getting cooler by the day. Sadly the sweet spot where everything works is not as big as I'd hope it to be.

For people having hashrate drops - borrow PSU from friend and check.
In my case I had malfunctioning PSU (400W). It works perfectly in PC but it turn out connecting it to miner (2 H boards) I had strange fluctuations with hashrate. It didnt drop to 0 but instead went form ~50GH to ~10GH after some time. Again - that PSU works fine in PC. Finally Ive put another PSU - cheap 350W, 20$ chinese one and it runs perfectly - 58GH rock solid.
I think some PSU have some kind of regulator (whatever thingy...) and dont push full power. Or, they simply are a lazy bastards.
Interesting, this is definetley something I need to check out as I have been having some stability issues at ~500w pover drawn trough a 750W PSU.

This just in: It's a Bitcoin miner themed lapel pin. The camera is a potato, light is awful, the lapel pin is poorly aligned and my hands are shaky... I guess thats enough for excuses. Better pictures will be available asap, but not today.

Incase you get a no carrier available message when ordering please contact me via the site or email. Some regions that have multiple zip-code formats (London for example has three different formats of which I know one is working and one most definitley is not.) are not working in Prestashop and no fix for this is available, therefore the site deduces that no carrier is available to deliver the package. The workaround to this for the forseeable future is for me to process the orders manually.

new heatsinks came in today 35x35x6mm with adhesive backings. I just swapped the 5 existing ones (15x15x8mm approx) for 4 of these. each one is just large enough to completely cover the backsides of 4 chips. tweaked my pencil mod a bit to aim back at 40+GH. initial resistance was 1.13K(ohm) and initial voltage read was 0.805V 15 minute readings: voltage: 0.810 hashrate: 37.5-38GHash my hope is that over the next 2-3 hours of operation, maximum temperature will be reached and the voltage will approach my ideal target of 0.825V. however, at this point it looks like it may not go past 0.815v eventually, so i may have to re-pencil it in a few hours once it is confirmed. Im intreagued by those heat sinks, would you have a link handy to some specs, or a store selling them ? ...and please post a followup on how goot they work with, ambient temp and fan specs would be much appreciated also.

Still some manual work to be done so that autotune can be turned indefinetly off, but Im fairly certain there is not much more to come out of these. [edit] Oh and thats a stable and constant hashrate. ...and before someone asks, each board is pencil modded individually with trial and error method. Rev. 1 boards as low as 1.15k and rev. 2 at as low as 1.6k.

I'd suggest a target of 1.725 at most if your not using heatsinks. Some of my boards overheated at 1.7
