Hi, I just got back into cryptocurrencies. Can you tell me where I can do my homework on these? I just tried a cursory look on Google but I got no where. Thanks.
I am looking at getting 2 to 4 of them off you at this price, once I get to know the product line better.

Hello... been gone for a year and look at what happens to the price of bitcoins!

Looks familiar.... did you program that all by yourself?

Sometimes Windows (7 x64) thinks cgminer has crashed when I ask it to stop mining after xxxx shares. Perhaps it IS a crash, because it doesn't happen all the time. here is the latest info: Problem signature: Problem Event Name: APPCRASH Application Name: cgminer.exe Application Version: 0.0.0.0 Application Timestamp: 508e1955 Fault Module Name: libusb-1.0.dll Fault Module Version: 1.0.12.10532 Fault Module Timestamp: 503cda37 Exception Code: c0000005 Exception Offset: 0000196d OS Version: 6.1.7601.2.1.0.768.3 Locale ID: 1033 Additional Information 1: 0a9e Additional Information 2: 0a9e372d3b4ad19135b953a78882e789 Additional Information 3: 0a9e Additional Information 4: 0a9e372d3b4ad19135b953a78882e789
Cgminer 287 with two cards on my everyday PC. It mined 10001 of the 10000 requested, and it quits normally, but windows thinks it quit unexpectedly. Win pops up a dialog box asking if I want to quit cgminer. Of course I want to quit... because I have it on a loop. EDIT: Happened on my new build too... using version 285 Problem signature: Problem Event Name: APPCRASH Application Name: cgminer.exe Application Version: 0.0.0.0 Application Timestamp: 508663c0 Fault Module Name: ntdll.dll Fault Module Version: 6.1.7600.16559 Fault Module Timestamp: 4ba9b29c Exception Code: c0000005 Exception Offset: 000328bf OS Version: 6.1.7600.2.0.0.768.3 Locale ID: 1033 Additional Information 1: 0a9e Additional Information 2: 0a9e372d3b4ad19135b953a78882e789 Additional Information 3: 0a9e Additional Information 4: 0a9e372d3b4ad19135b953a78882e789 I had it mine 10K shares and loop. Has looped a few times, and then this happens. Wish there was a way to tell windows "it's okay, let it quit/crash and don't worry about it" and my loop would restart it w/o babysitting it.

You'll need to find any '<' and '>' and replace them with < and > in: API-README FPGA-README README linux-usb-cgminer windows-build.txt Oh, also any '&' with & in README and API-README I have done this for stuff in <p> tags, and other text I have surrounded with <pre> so it doesn't need escaping yet. But I will continue to work on it. EDIT: looks like the <pre></pre> tags still need its contents to be escaped. Well, that's an easy fix. [strike]Working on that right now.[/strike] Fixed.

Looks good! Cept the FAQ (point 10) link isn't working. Doh! Will fix asap. EDIT: Fixed

I got the board yesterday. I noticed it's a little curved up on the pcie bus area at the end of the board. I also can't get any cards to get recognized on those buses (5 & 6) if bus 1 and 3 are occupied.
MRB, did you use these for more than 4 cards?
EDIT: I needed at least 1 powered riser. Thanks. Good Board!

Panda, I did ship yours 3 days ago. You did receive the tracking # I emailed you, right?
Okay, I found your email in the trash for some reason. Thanks.

I haven't received my shipment yet, which was supposed to be sent out 3 days ago. I have other parts come in today, and am ready to start my new build.

Mine, all mine to mine with!

I'll take whatever stock you have left of these. I have a prefunded Dwolla account if you wouldn't mind accepting USD equivalent. But if you must have BTC, I have some on reserve at BTC-E. Let me know in a PM. (so i get an email)
Thanks.

Yes I did, Panda. I replied to your email.
My bad. Didn't realize you'd be up already. (or still up?)

What's the significance of the modifcation(s) you did? (like, why did you do it, and does it change the way the riser works)
The 2 risers on the rigt were originally 1x-1x risers. By cutting off the edge, they are effectively 1x-16x risers. I must be dense, so forgive my ignorance. Are you saying that a 1x to 1x riser, can be modified to accept/fit onto a GPU's x16 "foot"? How can it stay in place? I can see that a 1x to 16x riser ribbon only has a "few" wires in it, whereas a 16x to 16x riser ribbon has a whole lot more wires in it. For mining, we don't need but just the 1x portion of the signals, right? Also, can a 1x to 1x riser "foot" fit into a 16x slot? So can a 1 to 16 fit on a 16 slot and become a 16 to 16 (with only 1x wires)? Anyhoo, I am in the market for some risers. My motherboard will have 5 PCIe_x16 and 1 PCIe_x1. I already have: (2) x16 to x16 risers (2) x1 to x16 risers (like the two in the middle in your photo) [will only need one of these] I need 3 more risers, which of the those you have for sale, do you recommend me buying off of you? The m/b has 5 x16 slots, so I need to be able to plug into them.

I've been thinking why not hard code the --fix-protocol into 2.8.6+ since it seems to do the job very well. (and add a --no-fix-protocol option instead?)
Because Stratum will hopefully be the default mining protocol soon. Better to get the bugs out of the way now. Right. This answer doesn't make sense; in fact, counter intuitive. Are you saying if every BTC pool switched to stratum, that NOBODY would need to use the --fix-protocol parameter anymore? Just curious.
