81  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Current Market state on: April 24, 2019, 06:34:01 PM
Week #15 of 2019 reveals that the first two weeks of April have raised $45.6m  that is almost twice higher than the number of funds raised compared to the same period in March.

1️⃣Week #15 of 2019 has raised $7m that is four times lower than the previous week
2️⃣Most ICOs are in Cryptocurrency and it also makes to the top3 by average funds raised
3️⃣Average rating has slightly increased to 4.3

More details in ICO Market Weekly Review #15 ➡️https://icobench.com/report?utm_campaign=im2019wr15&utm_source=bitcointalk#weekly

Maybe because the cryptocurrency market starting to going up, the green market attract the investors to investing in crypto.
You calculated the ICO, but did you calculate about IEO too ?
I think many IEO has raised much funds in the period, more than what ICO raised.
The total money IEO has raised, has it been up to 50 million dollars? Because I have not really seen much IEO projects around, the successful one I have seen on Binance has not been more than 3, although we have some upcoming ones that might add to the cap, but for now, IEO cap is not that much to recognize.

Moreover, IEO can still be classified as ICO, despite the spam rate going on, ICO is still raising lots of money, we still have very good and potential projects out there and people are very smart enough now to do research before investing, making them to spot out these good projects.
82  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How do you determine potentiality of any Altcoins? on: April 24, 2019, 05:20:19 AM
Price is very significant in a project, but no one should judge the quality of a project by the price of the coin, because one thing we all know in the crypto space is that price is very volatile and can fail you at anytime.

I am talking out of experience now, I remember having a coin called regal coin in my possession which was worth about $10 after it hit the exchange and holding the coin to get to $100, but I was shocked when I woke up one morning and saw that the price of regal has dumped from $10 to $1, and very worthless as of today.
83  Economy / Economics / Re: Will 2019 take us to Moon or Mars? on: April 23, 2019, 07:03:26 PM
Based on analysis that has been popping everywhere on the net,  it seems like there's likely goiing to be a bull run anytime, but we don't know when. Though the analysis I always see on Cointelegraph is always different from what I see other places, they always seem like they are not so sure about it.

Another thing I have noticed recently is that bitcoin is regaining dominance, it seems like more focus is on bitcoin this time around. The dominance of bitcoin has moved from below 50% to 52.3%.
84  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will Stablecoins have a future? on: April 23, 2019, 10:58:55 AM
There are too many of them, of course. in a couple of years, some of them will disappear - and it will be good
for a pause and exit from investments in unstable cryptocurrency is a good topic
Well, you are right about this. I remember how so many coins appeared every hour in the market during the crypto boom back in 2017. All these projects were not so much good and majority of them had been scamming people. They disappeared during the prolonged bear market which was actually good. Stable coins might have demand but those with good projects would only stay around and the ones with weak base would vanish.

Stablecoins will be having future only when there will be enough trader cum crypto adopters grow in numbers. I mean stablecoins are useful only for the people who want to move fiat value which is the need of traders. So, future of stablecoins will be depending on them in more percentage.
85  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What will ICO's do with those unsold tokens? on: April 23, 2019, 10:10:25 AM
We should learn from history, as I found some ICOs, burned unsold token but some ICOs hold the token or locked. For after sometime this token will release.
but it is important to release locked tokens based on the exact time calculation. like some projects ico also performs token keys for bounty and airdrop as well as for developers and their teams. those who get tokens only investors and traders on the market, it looks better for investors. moreover if the unsold token can successfully burn, it will affect the supply on the market.
I think this is a pathetic scenario and the reality of ICO that a token is burnt because it has no demand in the crypto space. To be honest, IEOs should have been introduced in the market long ago because ICOs have been doing great damage lately. Anyhow, holding the token is not bad because it could get its demand increased after sometime after its projects is improved and such projects which have been weak in the crypto market could be improved by eliminating the flaws.
86  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: IEOS are no different from ICO tricks; just an upgrade on: April 23, 2019, 09:17:36 AM
It seem's to be true but I like IEO more than ICO .
IEO offers a share on their profit and have an active project but it all depends on how good their exchange would work.
I only tried one IEO and it is ethershift and for me I think it is working fine, Just have to wait till it blooms.
With the every next arrival of new technologies, the existing technologies loose the demand and hence are elbowed aside in the market. IEO is best as compared to ICO in the current era because the perception about ICO that it is a scam has spread wide and long and IEO is treated as the genuine source of investment with the least risk from an investor’s point of view.

I do not know about the future of IEO but I do know it is going to stay for long as per its popularity among this crypto community still it will be purely depending on how many scams in IEO may decide the actual life time of IEO industry.
87  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: When did you start trading? on: April 23, 2019, 08:37:31 AM
Way back 2016 I start trading when the price is very low and I gain a lot of knowledge because that time is when many scammers are in the crypto world so I've scam a lot of times but still trading until now, why? it is just because when the price of bitcoin rise I feel the profit and earn the money that is fruit of hard work in which I've really waited for so long. Until now Im still trading although the price is very low because I believe that when it arise again I will get my payment on the hardwork that I've been giving now.
So those experience that you've get and the knowledge you've gain makes you a better trader and although you've scam many times you still trading because you believe that something miracle will happen, Just like now that the crypto world is in a crisis in which we dont know when it will recover.
You could have made use of your coins in the bull back in 2017. It was an opportunity so many people lost and that in fact could have made money by withdrawing. And since you have some prior experience right now, I think that you should be able to make money in the current bullish market. This is a good opportunity to do so. The more you explore about how to do a profit oriented trade, the more you make.

But, everyone is making some mistakes while they are starting with trading career. This is all about learning phases and people who are all making use of their mistakes as a learning opportunity, making their life simple and eventually becoming as a professional traders in short period of time itself.
88  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: WHY DO WE NEED A TRADING PLAN ? on: April 23, 2019, 08:07:01 AM
I really read too many of these rules. but for the crypto market, you cannot apply most of the above rules. because the decentralized market always has very absurd things and we need to follow it if we don't want to die. In my opinion, new traders should try to invest in small amounts, they will learn faster instead of reading too much.
Yes that is right. You just cannot start trading at once without have prior information and experience about the market. It needs you to be consistent and patient and you could only make big if you speculate for long term. I say that because in the short term, the decision making power of many people who are new in the market is very down and they loose the money by deciding the wrong thing. So little money for trading makes you good at it. Try big afterwards.

Everything within trading should be done after a planning for it. It means we should not make a decision on the spot. We must take time to analyze so that we may study its pros and cons and only when pros is having more weight then we may start implementing/executing it. Yes, we always need trading plan for every action of trading.
89  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Bulls need time on: April 23, 2019, 07:15:48 AM
People that rely on indicators absolutely misunderstand the concept behind the uses of it because it was used to predict the trend which the market may poses but it does not guarantee that the analysis is totally right which is why most senior analysiser will always tell people that their predictions is not trading advice.
I do agree. Taking into account the indicators in the crypto market wont just help you come up with a value that the cryptocurrency you hodl would achieve. That is just wrong. We should learn from the market and the history.

We know that we have been through phases when Bitcoin and cryptocurrency were thought of as scams in the market and were abhorred. They made it big. Regardless of the indicators, speculate for long run.
90  Economy / Economics / Re: Will 2019 take us to Moon or Mars? on: April 22, 2019, 07:16:28 AM
2019 will definitely takes us to the divine! 2019 is showing a good movement for the price of bitcoin after the correction of the market back in 2018. I am now averaging my investment by investing regularly in the market and hoping nothing but the best for the market to succeed and breaks the $10,000 mark and soar high again.
You can only hope for it to happen but that doesn’t mean that it is going to happen. There’s every possibility that the price can still fall before the year ends. You know this is mainly because of demand and supply and when there are more people buying it you will see the price moving, but when there is no demand, it starts to decrease. It’s likely that a lot of people can get discouraged because the price has stopped and because they feel like it will start to drop again, they might start selling off their coins to avoid losing their money. So you never know.
91  Economy / Economics / Re: Do you need cash for everyday use? on: April 21, 2019, 08:14:48 PM
Its a 20-80 allocations where 20% is actual cash on my wallet and the other at the bank, I just need cash for a small purchases, otherwise online payments will do.
But for security  reasons, money should be deposited to any financial institutions with attach insurance just in case these financial institutions will go to bankruptcy.
Lol, if 20% of what you have can fit in your wallet, then that means you don’t really have much. I go around with cash and the cash in my wallet is just about less than 1% or so of what is in my bank account. I also have bitcoin but I have never made use of bitcoin is buying anything online. Only thing I have done with bitcoin is sending it to someone and trading it online and nothing else. Lots of things I do I always need cash for it, so cash is very important to me.

If you ask me, I will say I need cash more than I need bitcoin. The only reason I’m into bitcoin is because I want to make money and that’s it, whenever I stop to benefit from it, I might as well quit making use of it. Where I live you will never see anyone talking about cryptocurrency, not to talk of making use of it. Whenever I want to buy something I need I make use of cash in buying them, and if It’s in a supermarket, I can make use of their POS to make payment, and some even accept mobile transfer.
92  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: is advertising for ICOs unethical? on: April 21, 2019, 07:37:02 PM
Seriously using 9Millon on promotion?? Where did you get this info?? I think you must put link about that's news. Because i see some project only using small funds for promotion, or maybe nothing, He just using bounty hunter then bounty hunter will get paid from their token project. And i think is fool developers using 9 Million only for promotion and i never hear about that
I think it is time for ICOs to spend the money they looted, on advertisement to attract more users. Trust me this does not happen any more. IEO is an alternative and when people have alternatives, they just do not pay attention to investing in projects which are dubious. ICOs have lost their prestige and advertising it now will not help the least. IEO will never advertise because it has already gotten the fame and costumer base.
93  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why IEOs Came Into Existence? on: April 21, 2019, 06:46:54 PM
Because many investors were scammed millions of dollars by fraud ICO in the past.
IEO is one of the solution to preventing fraud projects by holding it on a legit exchange platform.
That is right, and I think that they have not deviated from that objective but is there any real assurance of an IEO Platform guaranteeing that a project listed on its platform will not get dumped and eventually crash after being listed?

I have always believe this about IEO, I believe there is no way scammer can penetrate, but scamming is not the only challenge that we face in ICO, what is the difference between a scammer disappearing with one’s fund and a coin that turns shit with zero value when it gets dumped. So this is what I am still not clear about concerning IEO.
94  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: what kind of trading will suit for me? on: April 21, 2019, 10:11:41 AM
It depends on you brother on how will you do it. For example if you will choose day trading you must have a lot of vacant time to or your work must be in trading only so that you may earn a 10-20% Profit a month or in a week. But if you don't have that much time try to go on crypto trading and that was sure you will get an income also. Your $1000-2000 dollars would be good to start trading activity.
Day trading is really a good suggestion for those who have many vacant time because you can focus on just trading and if you don't have any job you can trade as much as you can. Day trading is a hassle work so better if you will focus on that.
I think you do not need a lot of hours a day for day trading. It is just about your limits. You set your limits at which you are willing to sell off and you reach that limit, it is done. It is useless sticking to your laptop screen all the day. I would be great if you have a job because that will be an extra addition into the money flow you will get from trading. The bullish market has been good to give profits in day trading provided you have experience.
95  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Which strategy you apply in recent bullish market? on: April 21, 2019, 09:12:08 AM
The way in which I trade crypto currency, particularly some of the 5 top crypto currency is that, any time they make appreciable profit up to 30 percent I will sell off 50 percent of my investment so that i will be on the safe side and that has been working for me for a long time now.
Making sure you sell some to take your profit is a nice idea.
We always believe that the price will further increase, but we cannot be greedy, we need to be contented as well, once we secure our capital
with a little profit on it, it should already make us in the safe side, let the profit play for a longer period, and who knows it will grow bigger again.

We took risk but we learn how to minimize the risk, that's how we play the game here.
Having a set target is a nice idea and you also need to see if you could take out same of the profits right now leaving behind some of your coins in the wallet to make sure you get your part of the money when it is Bull Run. Normally people who prefer the long term investment have to wait for long time to get the fruits of their investment. We have people in the Bitcoin space who kept their investment for more than eight to ten years and made billions.
96  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Invest now? or wait for down turn? on: April 21, 2019, 08:45:22 AM
~~snip~~
I must agree with this Twit. I`m here for years and it`s what I see all the time, people making threads
about their mistakes they made with investing in crypto-currencies.
This simply represents the human psychological state towards curiosity about their investment and the output of their investment. This also shows that one does not take risks and is scared of loosing money. This is no doubt true but making money in crypto is an adventure full of risk and one should take this risk to make money. Without risking your money, you could loose the opportunity that has been utilized by so many and have been successful.

I guess waiting for more cheaper prices may lead to miss out currently available good price levels. I mean the current price levels itself very good thing for any level investor (high or low risk investor). So, investing now itself will not be a big mistake when considering how peak bitcoin market may raise in coming days.
97  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Are You Done Buying Crypocoins? I AM. on: April 21, 2019, 08:17:11 AM
I'm perhaps included in an option that you haven't listed: continuously buying while the prices are calm and just waiting when the moment is opportune. This has worked for me in the wee months of 2014-2016 right before the bull run and I have been doing it again ever since the decline to $6000 down to $3000. Right now, I'm just playing the waiting game, adding something on the books just in case and hopefully get some more profits on the way.
I always use digital currency and that is me why use it. I always do some financial transactions like buying internet vouchers. Practicality is the main reason. besides that the value of investment that continues to increase gives me the opportunity to get attractive investments.
That is nice. You are making use of the major benefits that crypto can give. People tend to just speculate in cryptocurrency and still make use of banks and other third party institutions to make transactions. This is the reason why is it so important to keep on investing in crypto currency because it is something you badly need in a world of technology. In addition, like you said, it grows with the passage of time unlike the rest of the assets you hold.
98  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why do you gamble? Please voice your opinion! on: April 20, 2019, 06:38:55 PM
Of course to relax and enjoy lives use my extra money, and it's obvious  playing gambling have intention to got win if they have possibilities.
I think I do not understand what you guys always mean by playing gambling to relax mind, with all the tension that goes with it when playing, fear of losing money and all that. I always find this so awkward when I hear this maybe because I have a different perspective on this.

I am always tensed when I play gamble, I only feel relieved when I win and Its weird when I read that gambling games relieves one of stress, how on earth can I be relieved of stress when I my dammed money is at stakes lol. Well, I gamble to make money and I only get relieved when I get back my money with profit.
99  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why do people but bigger bets in sports compared to other type of gambling? on: April 20, 2019, 06:05:37 PM
Because they trust their team in sports betting, while in gambling (dice/blackjack/etc) are purely luck based + added house edge.
Exactly mate. I think you are very right. Just like I am going to empty my wallet to bet on champions league because of trust. When you are a good fan of a club and you have been following up on matches, predicting or betting on your team can never be a problem. I have been cashing out since the champions league began because of trust and confidence I have in the teams I have been supporting and I have been committing huge amount of money, and I am very glad, not even one has disappointed me. It’s very simple and clear, in sports betting you can bet on trust and even though it fails, the odds or chances will be very low.
100  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: The pitiful state of the Chinese economy could weigh on Bitcoin on: April 19, 2019, 09:15:24 PM
Now I see the point why they are pushing this mining ban in China. As always, Chinese people did not want to get their money out of country, but of course thwy want to get other countries' money into their cpuntry. However, the hole will be blockchain, specficaly bitcoin mining inside China where they spend their real-money for energy comsumption and spread digital money through out other countries.
Wow, you are very smart, I never thought of it this way but the truth is that you are very much correct about this, one thing I know about the Chinese is that they can do anything possible to make sure that money doesn't leave their country but circulate around their country, this is the main reason why they banned a lot of website use in china, well if they want to ban mining in their country, then they should go ahead and ban it already, those miners would just have to relocate.
