81  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How can we increase the awrarness level for Bitcoin adoption on: May 17, 2024, 10:56:33 PM
In rural areas, that's true. Many of these areas are not updated with the modern technology that we're having so expect that they have never heard BTC.

IMO, there's no need for you to do something with that. But if you're persistent with that then try to start talking with the people in that neighborhood and just try to ask them if they have heard BTC or not yet.

With small talks, you're giving them the idea and background of what BTC is and also, you're also having some good talks with the locals there.
82  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling is not place to make money is place to lose it? on: May 17, 2024, 10:28:20 PM
~snip~
And the idea of making someone wealth from gambling is because you see other gamblers win big.

There is the reason behind that and that is because we always compare ourselves to the others. If we stop doing this and focus to what's the reason why we gamble, then we won't be moved with that and will do as is when we gamble.

It's good that you don't get upset when you lose. Many do are upset including me when I lose but I make sure that it won't affect me a lot emotionally.

And the thing is that a person winning big might actually still be losing.

You don't know how much they spent to get that prize.

It's all relative really, but in the end the most probable outcome is that the gambler will lose money.
That is true.

You do not have an idea on how much they have wagered all of their lives before hitting and winning big. That seem to be an easy thing to think of when we only see the wins.

But we set aside on the challenges and the losses that they've incurred over the period of time because they look easy when they've won big time.
83  Other / Off-topic / Re: I noticed about something of very successful and wealthy people If u talk them on: May 17, 2024, 09:55:19 PM
I noticed nobody dont tell how nice process it was most of them tell how hard and painful it was.
Because we only want to hear the success stories and not how they've gone through with the hardships and pains that they've been with.

And as a listener, we feel encouraged and inspired with them but it stops only there because we don't want to go with the same process as hearing those stories will discourage us.

We don't think that such success needed to get through tough challenges but that's how the typical process is. So, we only want to hear what we wanna hear.
84  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2024 NBA Season on: May 17, 2024, 09:24:08 PM
They're likely to be the face of the NBA and I agree. The old era of veterans and superstars are about to end anytime soon.

And going with Wolves and Nuggets match later, I want to see Nuggets end it already so that we see another match up. But a part of me is telling to see more of ANT to be honest.

May the best team win then.

Wolves dominated the Nuggets in each quarters of the game, the tough defense and that good rotations of the players, they are not willing to end this series pushing one more game, by looking and watching the game Nuggets offense is really bad they've been limited to score only 70 points bad shooting night for Murray and Gordon's help ain't been felt, Wolves didn't waste the money of all their fans and supporters as they come up strong showing how ready they are for today's game and they are not willing to take their vacation but instead pushing the series and see if how luck will help them to snatch the conference finals from the defending champ.
We are going to see another game.  Grin

I wasn't expecting that the Wolves will still prolong the series and they're going to put much score against the Nuggets. It's always like this when a team and its players are having a bad day and unlucky shooting.

It happened to the Wolves last time right? So, we're going to see the game 7 soon so still good luck to both of them. Whoever wins, deserves it.

What to do to save yourself
Save from what? from boredom?

Think of how many are unemployed and if you are getting bored, what kind of boredom you're having? Is it coming to the point that you want to quit your job?

Or at this point you're only bored? Then find something interesting to do while you're at your job.
86  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2024 NBA Season on: May 16, 2024, 11:58:59 PM
So we have SGA and ANT as the future of the NBA right now, and again even if they are eliminated in this series against Jokic and Luka, this for sure will stamped in their memory and will improved drastically in the next season. One hour the game will start between the Nuggets and the Wolves, I will definitely watch this game, but not betting though, just enjoying and may the best team wins and goodluck to all bettors.

87  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Swap crypto or sell first then buy? on: May 16, 2024, 11:23:57 PM
Thanks for the replies so far.

The altcoin I have just taken profit on is Arcblock - I was lucky and got in last year at $0.11 and it has just reached a new all time high of $4.26 so almost given me 40x return so far so felt I had to take some more profit.
That's a lot of gain so congratulations to you. I want to ask if you don't mind, how much you invested on it and how much you gain in $?

I sold to Usdt and then with that Usdt I topped up my bags on 4 other altcoins I already have in my portfolio that I believe will do well this bull run.
You reroll it to other altcoins, good luck and hopefully you'd gain the same xx with that since the bull run is already in.

But if I am on your shoe, I'd take profit and portion for myself that I will spend to anything I want as a reward.
88  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Swap crypto or sell first then buy? on: May 16, 2024, 10:53:49 PM
Actually, swapping is also selling but just in the form of other cryptos. Whatever is going to be convenient to you, you do it.

is there not really much difference?
Yes, IMO there's not that much difference at all.

So, if you're taking profits. You do it before you get the answer you want to hear as the market is volatile as always.
89  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling is not place to make money is place to lose it? on: May 16, 2024, 10:25:19 PM
For me personally, games are just spending time and not chasing wealth and I don’t get upset if my bet didn’t work.
And the idea of making someone wealth from gambling is because you see other gamblers win big.

90  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How to become a successful trader on: May 16, 2024, 09:57:50 PM
and once you are focus it you never lose your money in trading
Don't say this, the best and successful traders are still losing today.

so as successful trader you must always be fucus on the process of your trading, for you to get a good profit.
No doubt about the focus so that you won't get distracted. But don't make it sound like an easy thing to do.

Trading is a good source of money when you're good at it but in reality, the majority losses as per doing their trades even the experienced ones.
91  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I was holding on to Ledger and I got robbed on: May 16, 2024, 09:29:56 PM
Crypto transactions can't be recovered if they have been sent already and much worse if it's gone through an exchange because the hacker have already withdrawn that.

Your seed cannot be emptied. It's possible that the source where you've purchased it that your seed were pre-seeded/generated already.

What? Is this even possible? Every new hardware wallet came emptied, and every first users are the one to generate new wallet seed, I haven't used Ledger wallet before but I have the same experience running Trezor and Keystone..
About the pre-seeded, it's possible that if ever someone purchases it with a third party and not directly from the manufacturer. The first/second owner have generated it and will write it down for the fake convenience of the buyer.

And the buyer that has lack of idea of what they've done will not generate new seed but instead will use the preloaded/preseeded recovery phrases.

Normally Ledger is bad hardware wallet, because they are closed source and many bad things have happened in the past concerning Ledger wallet, I will never advice anyone close to me to buy this hardware wallet.
Before they're good but now, we all agree with that.
92  Other / Off-topic / Re: Can family members help a gambling addict? on: May 16, 2024, 08:59:01 PM
everyone can help a gambling addict because we are human but the thing is that about that said gambler if they are willing to adopt and accept our help because in this the problem comes.
but all in all? yeah family is the best way for gambler to change their way.
An addicted gambler has no choice but to accept the help and deal with it.

No one is there to help them until the end but only their relatives. It is rare to see a not blood related person help them until they recover.

So they have to appreciate if someone is there for them until they recover and finally leave gambling addiction.

Welcome back.

It's not cowardice when you can't go back. Maybe you have other important things to do during that time and that's why all you need to do is to take time before you come back.

But now that you are here, enjoy your coming back.
Thank you! I promise to myself to focus of what i have  started.
That's right.

Focus on yourself and do whatever you can do in your capacity. Those mistakes you think that you did, you can correct them by doing the right thing from now on.
95  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2024 NBA Season on: May 16, 2024, 08:20:13 AM
Cleveland was trash, the Celtics should've swept this team but glad Celtics now get time to rest and now it's on to the next road.
I wouldn't say that they are. They're able to make it that far and not all teams are reaching what they've reached.

Well, there's still a lot of things needed for them to adjust for their roster to get some buff. They're strong and they'll become stronger if they add a bigger man that and a scorer that will help Donovan together with Garland.

Mobley is good but he needs someone to help him with his posting or he needs to thicken his body more.
96  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2024 NBA Season on: May 16, 2024, 12:52:03 AM
The game is still close on this 3rd quarter. Cavs might make it but I am for the Celtics on this game and they'd go home happy while the Cavs will have to take the rest and wait this season ends.

Let's see what's about to happen for this last quarter.

Although I really doubt that Cavs will prolong this series and will able to survive.
97  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Good or Bad - Blackrock Buying BTC on: May 15, 2024, 11:57:44 PM
Whether our opinions tells us that this is bad, we can't do anything with that. Before, we like to see them in the market together with us but many of them are skeptical about Bitcoin.

Now, they're here and note that they're not "all" here and soon the others will just follow them.

There's no way around in here but to be adaptable with the changes in the market and who's getting in and out. As a small investor, you need to be adaptable and be always updated with the trend.
98  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: People are interesting talking more about their success stories. on: May 15, 2024, 11:21:28 PM
I see more of success stories of bitcoin, like how people invest bitcoin for their parents,  uncles,  and themselves to make fine profit. These stories are very interesting one and good to listen of what bitcoin has done for people but it makes me wonder if people don't have stories of failure about bitcoin. In the real life I see people who talk about their failed investment because of not having the right knowledge.  But here everyone talks about success stories and it makes me wonder if people are shy to talk about their failures, it can also help other people to learn. Learning is not just about from successful investment.
Nope.

You probably just didn't saw those threads about stories with their failed investments including Bitcoin. But if you are for that, you'd definitely see them in other forums and platforms as well.

I were you, I would read more of the success stories because it is known that for every success story, behind it was a failure that person have experienced before reaching the peak of his success.
99  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Why are people getting scared to Trade on: May 15, 2024, 10:52:31 PM
People who knows and sees it from others that they can make money with trading won't be scared of doing it. What they are afraid of is the risk that it has.

Their tolerance is not as good as what the most of us here have. They can't just take a risk that they are not willing to take and that's what they are afraid from.

They might have even be afraid to hear the term risk so if someone tells them before gaining, there's always a risk and then that already discourages them from proceeding.
100  Economy / Gambling / Re: Can i bet 5-10k on a single bet anywhere? on: May 15, 2024, 10:23:56 PM
Many platforms here that you can use with that amount but you'd be expecting to comply with KYC. Here are what I known you can use;

- sportsbet.io
- stake
- duelbits

Anyway, they're the common and more of them and you don't have to tip $50 me though.  Tongue
He will not Tongue , there are two main reason for that one is may be he is only shilling him and there will gonna be one others reason you have given a wrong suggestion for him because he is already said that stake is not accessible in his country.
By the way op you can trust Duelbit, sportbet, and bc.games.
Yeah, I've seen that he posted about stake but there are actually a lot more and he's free to try them all including bc.games.

So if OP would really be splitting up that 50 bucks then $1 per person who had made out that reply on recommending Stake.  Cheesy
He doesn't really have to pay anyone for suggestion because even without those, he'd bombarded with suggestions as many of us here are part of the campaigns that we promote.

And simply most of us are playing to the casinos that we're suggesting.
