Hey everyone, I'm an old SXC miner from 2013-2014 who had a wallet that was backed up Jan of 2014. When I tried to put the wallet into the new client, it says all my transactions are conflicted and I can't find any of my transaction ids/addresses in the prohashing block explorer.
Can anyone help me understand why I can't access my coins? Thanks!
Edit: My account says I'm brand new cause apparently my old account info was released in a hack of 2015? I have been away from crypto for quite some time...
Old wallets and backups should work fine in the new version. Perhaps try a rescan of the blockchain? Did you copy the backup then run the sync or sync then copy the backup over? How much balance? Try a different explorer? If your really running out of options PM me and I'll see if I can restore them for you myself and send to you? I tried in multiple block explorers and it's like they never existed. I even looked at the transaction times from back then and found the exact blocks where they should have happened and the transactions don't exist. It's like they completely disappeared into thin air. To be fair, I added the wallet before the blockchain has completely synced and I have 34 weeks left until I'm up to date but I don't see how that is the reason since these coins are untouched for almost 4 years. The address doesn't exist, the addresses I've sent to don't exist, the transaction IDs don't exist. But it clearly should be sexcoin since if I try to load another coin's wallet, it crashes the client and the receiving address starts with S77 which should be a sexcoin address. Is it possible that this will get fixed once the client is fully synced? From the sounds of it your coins should be showing already. Is it possible you were mining on a forked pool which was lost when the pool reconnected to the network losing your transaction? Were they all mined transaction or do you also have standard transfers to/from exchanges or other addresses?

Guys, I have a noob question. I happen to have some (very little) btc on yobit and saw SXC coin at 0.00000304 BTC currently. There is a huge difference from livecoin where it is at 0.00000522 BTC
I want to buy from yobit since I have the funds there. But why this huge difference? Is this normal or scam on yobit and then I will not be able to sell them if I want?? I do not understand this.
Thanks in advance.
YoBit won't allow deposits or withdrawals so the SXC would be stuc on YoBit. They've been unresponsive to requests going back to at least July about updating the client and resuming standard operation but instead they resort to blaming the developers lack of interest. Also, please head on over to the new more active forum thread linked just above your post.

Where is the pump?
At the well.

SXC has submitted multiple requests to Yobit all with no responses. We're waiting for them and not the other way around. Any news on Yobit wallet? Is it ever gonna be out of maintenance?
We've submitted tickets... we've tweeted.... we've emailed.... Here's my support queue with Yobit... Not sure where to go from there.

FLO is another SHITT COIN on market. Very SLOW development . still they have not decided their log0 past 2 Months. Segwit pending since June still not activated. Rebranding news is out but nothing has done yet major. No new exchnages since years
How long has Bitcoin been working ok segwit? 2-3 years. I think a few months for FLO is pretty quick by comparison. Logo and brand likewise takes time to do _right_ since a proper designer must be found and given time to work their magic Can you name a quality exchange you'd like to see FLO added to? Don't worry, I won't hold my breath.

Rebranding tomorrow?
No. The deadline that's being mentioned floating around is for the next stage of the 99designs logo competition. After the contest and there's a new logo then the rebranding can begin but there must be a new brand first

*sigh* Getting tired of this trend of projects requiring my identity to be deobfuscated to follow their progress and interact. Thanks but no thanks. Obviously you're not comfortable talking about this publicly, and I don't find that a comforting sentiment. You log in every day and took over a week to tell me that? Unlike Slack, Rocket.Chat allows anonymous reading so it is indeed quite public to see what's going on with the project

Did some news caused the drop or people just sold?
People sold, the USD value is fairly stable but the Bitcoin value fluctuates with the ebbs and flows of Bitcoin/USD

Yes, FloVault is used to manage all web based publisher accounts and wallets and is the same system running LiteVault for Litecoin. One word if caution though. If you lose your password WE CANNOT RECOVER YOUR ACCOUNT. The password encrypts your wallet and all wallet functions are performed in your browser, Alexandria has no access to any coins stored there.

It's not the forum. Photobucket doesn't allow links from other sites unless you pay $400/yr and it upset a lot of people, breaking a lot of websites

How would i store sxc in an offline cold storage either using a paper wallet generator or manually making an offline address And if something happens to the phone the wallet is installed on are my coins lost? if you didn't backup your keys, yes, all is lost. Open the menu in top right, select backup/restore, backup keys and save the backup file to your computer, USB stick, and email Also what would be the sales way to store coins longterm Any cold storage and other ways? alternatives include a spare laptop with no internet, etc. In general though keep your coins off an exchange if at all possible then offline for further security if desired
Anyone know?

Can I link Bitcoin account directly to my bank account? Or do I need some third party -- such as Coinbase?
Unless you've got an amazing bank, you'll need to use Coinbase or some other such third party.

You guys should really try to have sexcoin into a smart contract and develop a platform for sex services, products, etc. Dont just share sex pictures
What is a smart contract going to do? They aren't just sharing the pictures, they're selling them for SXC. The images posted here are just advertising for the various SXC services already available.
